I would recommend the Arniston Hotel any time. The Management and staff are very friendly and professional. The Hotel is also well situated. Meals are Excellent.

3rd time and the best value in Western Cape. This time we were with our Harley Club to celebrate Xmas in July and again smiling efficient staff, great cuisine… we enjoy this quiet place each time.

Love staying here. Rooms are great especially if you get one with a fireplace. Food fantastic and staff are excellent… Always pleasant and go out of their way to accommodate your needs.

I liked it 😄 the staff is so reliable quick to act, they're so friendly. The hotel is so romantic with spacious rooms with amazing bathroom what I liked mostly is the relaxing room to watch the TV. Definitely I will recommend the Arniston hotel and spa to anyone.

I will not recommend this hotel. Not sure how they got their 4 stars. From the booking stage to check out, there were issues. No attention to detail. Staff is really noisy and unhelpful.

Management and staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. They so humble and polite. It's been the 2nd time we stayed there and each time we had a memorable experience. It's like coming home to visit family. The food is amazing and generous portions served. We look forward to our next visit. Mervyn and Laetitia Sanders.

From manager to staff friendly helpfull and no problem too big to handle breakfast lunch and dinner superb makes it so much easier with alot of halaal and vegan to choose from feels more like a home away from home will definitely recommend with prices good as well been going there since 1987 and never been let down simply love to spend time there thank you all once again.

We checked in on the 11th Sept, we had a wonderful relaxing stay, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and beautifully presented… and the buffet breakfast is amazing, with the biggest veriaty you can think off! Definately looking forward to our next stay.

The food and dessert was absolutely delicious and well priced. Support local tourism.

I have been going there for the past 25 years … service & food always good. First time now with Covit, they are handling it very well considering … Kathleen at the front desk is an outsanding, kind person. She moved us to two quieter rooms, after the Saturday nighy there were some rowdy young people. I would seriously recommend Management putting up a sighn at the wooden stairway … NO RUNNING and QUIET PLEASE!

Yesterday I had an absolutely incredible massage at the Spa. Courtney is a first class therapist. I came in with a spasm in my shoulder and left feeling incredible! Thanks to Courtney and the Spa staff for an incredible experience!

We were surprised to have a beautiful tray of my favourite Sherry decanted to greet us on arrival in our room. Gorgeous Egyptian cotton robes with a weave and weight perfect for the climate … a great place with s stunning view over the wild coast that offers a stunning sunrise. Awesome food in restaurant or formal lounge or sunroom terrace! Informal Local Art gallery in the passages Enclosed courtyard with lounges surrounding the pool Superbly clean! Great gift shop too and lovely pampering Spa … what an awesome stay we had.

Very well trained staff, polite and efficient, which sadly has not been the case in other SA hotels. Fabulous sea view. Delightful rooms and bathrooms. a little more choice in the menu would be good but food is well cooked and nicely presented. very nice sheltered pool area.

Making the booking and check in was easy and friendly and welcoming. We had the most amazing dinner and my Dad is still impress with that giant portion of spare ribs.
The room was nice and spacious and the amenities was thoughtful as well as good turn down service. My highlight was of course the breakfast and even better that they serve champagne with breakfast. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Amazing value for money. Great rooms, great food, great service.

Worst service ever. We cleaned our own table after sitting down for 20 minutes. Then after another 20 minutes convinced a waiter to take our drinks order. Our drinks started to arrive but only 3 people got served. We then went inside to wait on drinks. Eventually the rest arrived. Then the same with our food. Same story. Arniston need another place than the hotel!

Great place to relax. A great team working at the hotel. The staff are very puntual, kind, good at making conversation and very helpful and informative. Overall you will not be disappointed.

Service delivery is impeccable. Their breakfast is outrageous; Bon Courage sparkling wine and Bloody Mary's included. Salmon goes well with the scrambled eggs. Staff always ready to assist with a smile. The beach us twenty steps away from your front door.

Hotel is situated just off the beach front, with beautiful views of the ocean. Very peaceful and beautiful. Will definitely be back again soon.

We love coming to Arniston Hotel for a couple of days to celebrate birthdays or wedding anniversary. We sre usually lucky enough to get room 107 which we love. I am disabled but there is a lift to the upstairs floors and the staff help me negotiate the few steps at the entrance. Staff, accommodation and food all excellent. And the sea facing rooms have views to die for!

Very much a basic family holiday hotel. Wonderful outlook over the beach from our room. Food and dining service mediocre.

Spent three nights here. Found a 5 cm by 2 cm piece of plastic fried with my onion rings at the restaurant one night. Unfortunately I tried to eat it, before realizing what it was. The manager had a foul attempt of apology by offering me a free milkshake. I will not be returning here due to fear of choking to death from foreign obstacles disguised as food.

Ordered 4 cocktails, only one person in the group were satisfied. Food really average and nothing special considering the price. If it wasn't for the location and view it would have been 1 star.

Our second holiday at the Arniston. Reasonable accommodation. Average food. Amazing spa. Unbeatable location on beachfront. Warm and friendly staff.

We went there for a quick afternoon tea. We were told we could not eat outside due to being hotel policy. And it was such a lovely beautiful day too. The scones were half raw inside and were served with black current jam, canned whipped cream (opposed to fresh cream) and cheese. So the food is really not worth it compared to the beauty of Arniston.

Nice hotel, unfortunately it was not possible for my wife, instead of dinner which is paid to give fruit (1 banana or orange). She's in bed with a fever. I received a tea. What a pity!

A beautiful majestic hotel hine away from home with a pristine beach. Cycling and walking around the town is a great opportunity to meet new people of the town. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

Overall great experience, friendly helpful staff, rooms are clean, spacious and fully equipped for a family. Pool area clean and well managed, restaurant well managed with great food and service. Added kids care center was a absolute bonus.

Hotel located on the seafront in Aniston. Large and clean rooms. Breakfast The property should offer benefits of activities for adults in the event of gloomy weather (ping-pong table indicated on the site, which is probably wrong). Good quality generally.

I didn't do much at my stay there but that was my choice. It's very beautiful there there's a beach In front the building and a pull at the back and s very nice spa and a big garden for kids to play while parants can watch them from the restaurant. Personally I would recommend this hotel.

Were as Part of a Round Trip from/to Cape Town a Night housed here and very satisfied. Not the latest but very good in shot, at least for South African Conditions. The Breakfast Buffet was fine, also the Dinner tasted very good to us. The View directly of the Indian Ocean is a Dream. The Staff were very friendly overall. The Complex made a very well-kept impression overall, whether pool Area, Rooms or Common Areas. The Rooms are very large and super equipped. We Can therefore continue to be fully recommended, at least for Short Trips.

Perfectly located in the coast of Arniston, facing the ocean, providing spectacular sunrise views. The resort is a bit old, bit classicaly decorated. The suite we got was outstanding, a full living room space with two doors to balcony. The staff greeted us with a bottle of champaign, very welcoming. The room jas very good dark shades, eliminating almost all light and providing the right sleeping conditions.
The food was OK, the dining room food was pretty good, the Ox tail is highly recommendable. The breakfast spread is nicely done and you can get omelettes or eggs cooked any way you like. The food at the side bar was average at best, recommend you go to main dining room.

Not exactly what I expected from the 4 ⭐ Hotel and Spa. Good food and good service. No mini bar. Didn't get the room we booked, also ended up paying more for our room than what was qouted.

A small but great hotel. The measure of customer service is not what happens when things go right but how they deal with issues when they go wrong. When my TV failed while trying to watch the soccer game the staff did everything possible to make sure I could watch. Finally a book case was wheeled into my room, a new TV sourced and within 45m a temporary system rigged for my viewing pleasure. Could not have asked for better service. Brilliant location and sea views topped off a short but memorable stay.

Stayed in a guest house but went to the hotel for drinks. A little pricey but the best place in Arniston to grab a beer. Also probably the only place in Arniston to grab a bite and a beer.

We spent one night on 27th July 2017 in a sea facing room on the first floor. The view from our room was awesome. We watched a stunning sunset and seeing the fisherman go out tho sea in the early hours of the morning and returning with their catch was so interesting. The accommodation was fantastic. Dinner at the bistro was disappointing — the food could definitely be improved. Breakfast was great. The hotel is perfectly located and close to all the stunning sights and walks.

We spent an amazing weekend at this Hotel with family and friends. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help you. Everything about the bedroom and en-suite bathroom was first class. Tea/coffee facilities were special with plunger coffee maker plus coffee. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. We will be back later in the year! Two nights was not enough next time — 3 nights. The outer sight deceives. The hotel is not the newest but the rooms are large, well furnished and clean. The service is excellent.
Dinner in the restaurant is great, at good prices. In the restaurant there is also a great breakfast in the morning, with great choice. Who wants with sparkling wine or Bloody Mary.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Went for my birthday and it will be a memorable one. I love this place! Very spacious, comfortable and well decorated oceanfront rooms.

Stayed over for one night and it was really pleasant. The room, although not sea facing, was good enough for one evening. Sea facing rooms would be preferable if staying longer. The restaurant offered good food and the service we received was above average. The morning breakfast buffet was incredible. We were surprised to see them offering salmon as some 5 star restaurants don't even offer this option in Cape Town. Good memories and will definitely go back.

Perfect holiday for resting and rushing nowhere. The drive from Cape Town International Airport was beautiful and relaxing. Arniston Spa Hotel gave my wife and I what we wanted, rest and recovery. The team at the hotel made us feel special, as if we were the only guests at the hotel. The rooms are nicely spacious and the meals were divine.

A friend and I got caught up in the beauty of the scenery and the setting sun. We went into town looking for lodging to keep from having to return to Cape Town at such a late hour. We happened upon the reception for the Arniston Cottages and rang the number indicated on the sign at the door. Within five minutes Mary was at the desk handing us a key to a cottage and a large basket of fire wood. We were thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness and uniqueness of the little cottage. The temperature outside was chilly but with a fire in the fireplace and the mattress warmer on, on the bed it was a stupendous evening in a nostalgic simple cottage at a very economical rate. I recommend them for a longer stay so you get to enjoy the feel and it certainly was just as good for a one night stay as well. Steven.
