Had the best Valentines lunch at Kwat tu! It was a 3 course meal with local MCC! We loved everything about it. They also cater for your dietary requirement which was so nice fir me being vegetarian! Would definitely go again soon.

This center is a must vist to reconnect and discover our ancestral heritage and inner belonging. We were received very well by the most waŕm, friendly and well informed staff and tour guides. Leaving this center left us empowered and richer in knowledge and proud being Khoi Khoi. We were spiritually satisfied and at peace knowing where we belong and are rooted. We will surely visit again. An amazing educational and fun experience covering a variety of different topics with interactive activities the kids can enjoy too and all related to our origins as homosapiens and the San people. A MUST see/do when in the western cape! Not only that but the restaurant and food was exceptional and well priced, authentic local food! The staff were so happy and welcoming. Thanks very much for a wonderful day out.

Khwa ttu is a very peaceful and lovely place to be. Sleeping at the bush camp was the best of all and the E bicycles is very much enjoy able…

I had a brief educational experience at! KhwaTtu and it was very interesting to see how much effort is being put in to uplift the San people in Southern Africa. Michael and his team are exceptional hosts and the tours are very educational and not boring and some can be. All ag groups can attend the Khwa Ttu center and I will definitely be back in my personal capacity and with clients. I am impressed and so will you be by the end of your visit to them.

The food is very good, and the service is great. I love the environment and the state of the art museum which explains the San Culture so well.

World-class! What I really like about it, is that it’s the result of a 20-year old dream of the world’s very First People to authentically communicate their own story. The centre’s collection of San artifacts, knowledge and history is curated by San consultants and communities themselves. A great example of how museums in this country should evolve!

I love this place. Their food is great. The Eland Burger is best.

Actually very disappointed. Places like this that rely on a good image and word of mouth should really be more professional and more helpful. The waiter was not at all helpful and scared of the cold. Sorry to say that I won't be going back or taking friends there anytime soon. Really sad as I think there's a lot of history to explore.

Khoisan cultural centre with visitor involvement. Take a step into the lives of the bushmen that live their unique way of life in a changing world. Known for their traditional herbs the world over the indigenous gardens supply herbal medications and tea that the brave can sample. Not far from Cape Town and worth a visit. It is getting more popular so call to secure a booking.

We had a delicious lunch here after some of the group had enjoyed one of the mountain bike trails. Reasonably priced and cosy restaurant with a. Lovely fire and Heinrich was very helpful and informative about the San people, their language and his ancestors. We will definitely come again and it would be nice to try some of the accommodation on offer.

Excellent food and reasonably priced. Good service. Dirt road of 1.4 km between highway and restaurant ok in dry weather.

Myself and my husband spend the weekend at the bush lodge at khwa ttu we had an awesome weekend so far the people is so friendly and helpsome here I loved it and will surely return here again soon thnx baby rose you made our weekend memorable.

If you're interested in San (Bushmen) culture this is a great place to visit. There's a reconstructed village with your guides who explain many aspects of the traditional lifestyle and culture. Fire making and jewelry (ostrich shell) making demonstrations. Guides patiently try to teach various 'click sounds' of the San language. Very nice gift shop. Highly recommend visiting and supporting this endeavor.

We honestly had a fantastic stay at! Khwa ttu. The staff was friendly and always helpful. I especially enjoyed the single track mountain biking trail. Also a special thanks to the manager, Michael. He was very helpful and friendly.

If you are a fan of the African cultures then this amongst the places you should visit. You get to learn quite a lot about the San people and how they have lived over the past years. I thought they were extinct but nah. They still do exist. They a language not far from Xhosa but with a different meaning and spelling. You get the clicks.

We had a late arrival last night and were met at the gate by friendly helpful staff. The stay at the guesthouse was peaceful with a comfortable bed, good linen and a clean well equipped kitchen. Special thanks to Baby Rose and Heinrich. Will definitely stay again.

It was absolutely fantastic second time to visit, just to see the place and to chat with the folks working there, very well organized. Unfortunately could not see the manager. He was I'm a meeting. Met with some of the folks of the KhomaniSan Community.

So amazing teaching u how Bush or San people used to live.

The accomodation was great, a little jewel. Regarding the place itself it was a bit touristic for us.

Went there with a huge group. Service was quick. Food was basic but tasty. Interior decoration a acceptable. Good bar facilities. Plenty of parking. Seating available inside and outside.

What an amazing place on the R27, fantastic service and food! Will come back for the edu tours.

Good food cool place and decent mountain bikes to rent for 50 rand. No brainer.

Booked the bush house and we were used a bait for them to catch people that have been breaking into the place. Owners clearly do not care about their guest safety… was a horrible experience. Will never go there again.

Fun day on Heritage Day. Tough 10k MTB trail. Then San culture celebration. Music Dancing. Lovely visit.

Fantastic experience! I like the way the organisation empowers people. Very important to learn about the languages and cultures of some of the most marginalised people in our country.

We finally stopped here on out way back to Cape Town. What a delightful spot. Very informative museum that teaches you more about the San people. The Eland burgers was extremely tasty — I will stop here again just for that. Next time we will go on the game drive.

Very interessnte language of the "San people"

Great historic and heritage site, with a great story about the San and Khoi people. Great artefacts and jewellery pieces, and the food was awesome.

Had a Sunday lunch here. They were not too busy and the service was good. Despite some of the things they had ran out of stock the food were decent. Five of us had the Eland burger which were plenty big enough and tasty but they were a bit shy with the extra sause. Not the biggest menu but enough to choose from.

All beautiful, people, food, ambiance, wine aand anyone who has been there can add to this.

Went for breakfast and for the tour. Food is great. The tour is about an hour and very interesting — taking you through the way of life for the san.

Had a great time camping in the bush camp, riding around with the kids, and fantastic breakfasts in the restaurant. We also really enjoyed the tour. Definitely recommended.

Totally worth a stop if you are on your way to the west coast. We were lucky to visit an awesome photographic gallery.
