Nice place but dont always have hot water. Jacuzzi was dirty and I was told that I must use it like that. Few niggles but has a lot of positives too.

Lovely small establishment. Apartment for couple's is intimate and elegant with a btf view from the first floor. We had a lovely time here.

Very quiet and extremely beautiful surroundings. Facilities well utilised and very functional chalets. Rather upmarket.

Very nice place. Beautiful view over the lagoon. Units are stunning and everything you need is right there.

Overlooking the lagoon and observe how the low and high tide is affecting the lagoon. Small paddleboats can be hired and expierence the lagoon. Much to be seen around Sedgefield. Drive up the small hill and enjoy the stunning view of Sedgefield. Walk around in Sedgefield and absorb the tranquility. Knysna is not far away. Jump into your transport and explore it.

A very good and well run Resort. Well appointed facilities with pleasant staff. We can certainly recommend Placid Waters.

Beautifully clean. Not enough packing space for 2 people let alone 4… definitely need shelves and a grocery cupboard. It is self catering and nowhere to keep your food. Braai free at poolside but you have to pay R5-00 to use the gas braai on the patio… and they have a dishwasher but no need for it… the one thing that I really appreciated was the laundromat at R10 for a wash and R10 for a dry — not bad at all…

Quiet Family getaway on the banks of Sedgefield lagoon plenty water birds for those who enjoy birdwatching.

Sedgefield is one of my favourite places on the Garden Route, and Placid Waters is ideally located for family holidays.

Thank so much for the warm welcome that we have received Placid Waters after a long trip. The unit was exceptionally well furnished and our stay was really a home from home experience. We will definitely be back.

Really great chalets set up beautifully, needs a little fix up on the front but other than that a beauty great place for kids, they have bicycles to use, putt putt area and jacuzzi's as well as pool tables and more, very relaxing and lots to do around the area.

Lovely finishes, everything so neat and tidy, staff very helpfull and friendly and wonderful views.

The decor of the rooms was very uninspired and we had problems with plumbing. However, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Excellent facilities, free kayaking, stunning views.

Be aware when making a booking at Placid Waters even when doing it three months in advance and paying full price upfront and thinking you now have a reservation. Suddenly at a time when most accommodation in the area has been taken, you get an email saying that your reservation can not be honoured anymore.

Placid water is well place by the lagoon with a great view. The self catering units have everything you need and well maintained even have filtered water.
