The perfect destination for family. There's so much activities for all ages. We had a blast of a time. Super friendly staff and venue is very clean.

Lovely place for family holiday. Lots of activities for kids and Adults to keep busy and entertained for days. Best is the rides on lagoon. What can improve is some staff friendliness, helpfulness towards they guest, was abit untasteful. There is staff that showed 100% great service.

The boat ride is the highlight of our weekend my 4 year old wants to have his birthday. MAG THAT DUDE personality and his manners I'll really go back just to have a boat ride with him again he makes it so much fun. My dad did the tube ride twice. He is an asset to your resort.

My best holiday resort always nice to be here and what make it more fantastic I could bring my dog along they have beautiful dog unit chalets.

The water activities were awesome definitely a must to try. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Like bowling, table tennis and much more. Very relaxing and family friendly. The hot pool definitely a must love it. We recommend the speed boat drive wow amazing experience❤🤗🙌

I had the absolute worst experience at Pinelake. I'm disgusted the way the general manager treated us. As if we were gangsters, stepped up to my husband like he wanted to hit him. We go every year, service is always amazing but please dont look at us by our faces. No matter the reason, you do not treat people in this manner. You have lost a loyal lifetime customer today.

Great service, loads of fun activities for kids and adults. Restaurant had pretty decent pricing.

I had no problem with pinelake itself but the guests there complained about loud noise at 19h00on a saterday night. We were playing music not loud and they complained. Pinelake is a holiday destination not a retirement village.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was so AMAZING, but what stood out was the fact that they came to our chalet to take my temperature or screen me when I did feel so good. They gave me some advise which I followed and which helped me. What blew my mind was that they called the next day to here how I was feeling and continuing to tell me what to do. Keep up the excellent job you're doing. Have a blessed festive season and I trust that all your guest will adhere to the Covid 19 rules you have set in place at the resort.

We had the best view. Wish we could explore more activities on the lake, unfortunately the weather and high waters had other plans for us keeping us busy in the game room, enjoying the jacuzzi and pools. Staff are amazing and friendly. Relaxing and child friendly all in one.

An awesome place for a holiday, lots of activities to do. We will definitely visit again! No washing lines at 'violet' though… but there's pegs in the chalet:)

Our honeymoon was amazing the view of the lake was to die for and the staff was absolutely amazing. We loved all the different activities you guys offer especially the boat ride. We will definitely be returning for longer stay as there was so much to do.

What an amazing place, the staff was outstanding. Especially at the lake. one of the best staff was Mag the one on the upload, he is a joyful and the most helpful always smiling, advising about about boat trips and many more, this guy was truly great. We were staying at V1 and V15. the place is clean and well looked after. Will definitely make this my holiday place of all time. pine lake thank you for making our stay amazing from the beginning to the end and tell Mag we say a big thank you for the service. 5 stars all the way, you will see us soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Only issue I had was that the cleaners only clean when you leave. They should visit at least every second day.

To say I love this place does not do it justice but here goes. This is my favourite place for a breakaway from all the madness because my work is very stressful. Depending on which unit you choose it can be very romantic and tranquil. A nice place for the whole hamily. All my visits to Pine lake have been memorable one. You can't make a mistake about this place. I wish I could go there more often. The staff is very friendly. And the drive there is oh so scenic and the surroundings very nice. I cannot wait to go back.

We spent a week here. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The unit was spotless and cleaned every day except Sunday. The shop is a bit spartan and the dstv programmes need adding to. Great place.

Just a short overnight stay, but chalets were clean and tidy. Amenities looked good, with a good area of access to the water, trampolines, jungle gyms for kids, pools, conference venue / restaurant. Very family friendly, although chalets are arranged in large circles / ovals looking onto central gardens, which personally doesn't appeal.

Cleanliness gets a 3/5 Service gets a 4/5 Overall 4/5 I would recommend this place to others, especially if it is their first time. I've been coming here almost every year for the last 10 — 15 years and the quality of the service and overall resort hasn't dropped much.

This is a most fantastic family vacation destination. I was so happy to be here with my family and I cannot wait to return here. It'll be a destination we return to for many years. There's canoes and paddle boats and stand up boards and 3 pools. We barbequed twice and we watched satellite television in the evening. There's lots to do in and around the resort: beaches, restaurants, etc. I could not have asked for a better time and it will be something I remember for the rest of my life.

This was an exceptional stay for me and my partner. Warm welcome, clean and well furnished accommodation. Excellent price for Quality. We especially enjoyed the heated swimming pool + indoor gym + canoeing on the Swartvlei. Good location for a quite getaway. Would certainly recommend this to a friend or family member.

I really enjoyed my time at Pine lake Marina really family friendly and the facilities was awsome. One dissapointment was the pool though the pool area is very small and the water is not really warm at all. However overall experience I would recommend it anytime but for the lovely summer days.

Our fourth year in a row at Pine Lake Marina. We always enjoy our time, thoroughly. All staff are friendly and we choose to visit during off-peak, so we have a relaxed and quiet week. No overcrowded pools or parks, our kids truly get to enjoy their experience here.

Reception area, are great, very helpful and sort problems out, very quick. There are a lot of activities for the kids and for the family. The units are neat and very clean, some a bit small, but you get what you pay for. Our unit didn't had Aircon, so take a small fan. The staff is very, very friendly. The shop and laundromat aren't over priced. There are security 24/7 and we had no probleme leaving our car outside our unit. I would say, 5 out of 5 for Pine Like Marina.

We had a great week. The children had loads of fun. The place is beautiful. The housekeeping and maintenance teams were amazingly friendly and helpful. Their services were the best. A special thanks to Geraldine and Debbie for their warm welcome and great service. My family and I will go back anytime.

Lovely holiday destination. We have been visiting pinelake each year now for the past 5 years. Enjoyable relaxing fun-filled experience…

What a terrible place, there is so much potential for a great resort but the lack of maintenance and incompetent staff is shocking. The place stank of smoke on arrival and was dirty, see attached photos of the braai area which was a joke and disgustingly dirty oven. We waited a hour and 30 minute to get moved standing around with our one year old while all our groceries got hot in the car waiting for staff to communicate what was going on. Attitude of staff did not help the situation. Appliances are ancient and need an update, mold in the bathrooms, the carpets were filthy and the beds were very uncomfortable. The only pleasant experience was the view. We will not be back again and will never recommend.

Pine Lake is a wonderful vacation spot. Safe for children, you can take your little pet along with you — but remember to book a pet-friendly unit. There is so much to do, from a friendly game of tennis to a playful day on the dam.
