We had the most glorious day on the beach yesterday and didn’t want to leave to go eat at a table. We went off to the Bungalow to get some takeaways for 10 people. The staff at the Bungalow were beyond helpful, Ben was our waiter and went out of his way to help us achieve our meal on the beach. He even offered to help us carry all the food to our spot. And made sure we had all the condiments and necessary utensils to make sure we could enjoy our meal to the full! To our delight, when we opened our take away boxes they were full with the beautiful food, not the usual skimp you find when you order takeout and yet have paid for a sit down meal. The food was absolutely delicious! I have to say a huge 10/10 to the Bungalow and thank you for helping us complete our beautiful day on the beach with a perfect meal and perfect service. Waited a while, but Peter was very good, up and down the stairs is tiring for the staff. Great food and beautiful breeze and views.

Absolutely terrible service from the sushi chef. We ordered about 1k worth of sushi and were short by two salmon roses. He told us he saw us take a photo of the Sushi and proceeded to say that we must count the salmon roses on the picture and if he is correct then we must pay double for our whole bill. Is this how you speak to customers? Honestly you need new staff. Will never be back. To add to this, before this occurred they never had pizza dough for pizzas and they didn’t have burger buns for burgers. Absolutely poor management! They can literally drive to get stock.

Lovely view, great vibe but the service was absolutely a bad experience. Waited way too long & they still got orders wrong upon having waited. And had runners just mixing up everything! 🙅🏾‍♀️

Great location, love the vibe, but I see people have said that the service is great… we did not experience service at all and it wasn’t even busy. Stood at the entrance waiting for someone to seat us, when no one came we just got a seat ourselves. Then had to wave a few times for a waiter to bring us menus, then had to ask if we can place an order… We’ll give it another chance, hopefully there will be improvement.

Friendly staff, great food, awesome setup but the views are what brings it all together.

The Bungalow is a misleading name in fact its a much larger structure which serves as a great watering hole on a great beach. The management offers excellent accommodation, tasty food matched with fast efficient service and much more. Most of the rooms have double beds and small Japanese type pods which are best suited to the unmarried or children. After a pleasant evening at the bar we were able to simply chill out whilst the sound of waves lulled me to sleep. This place is highly recommended particularly for the under 50's who might find the pods to be a challenge.

The Bungalow is fantastic with great interior inside the bedrooms and bathrooms. We've enjoyed the life music on Friday night, great sushi, breakfast and dinner. It is a lovely location situated with magnificant views over the Ocean. They do a turn down with real chocolates. I will recommend The Bungalow to everyone.

Stunning little spot by the beach! Trendy style with splash pool and great cocktails! Stayed over for the night, rooms are neat and seaside rooms open onto awesome boma area where you can have a big bonfire and chat! DJ plays music over the weekend so definitely for the younger vibe who don’t mind a little music putting them to sleep if they off to bed early.

Went here in the evening. Lighting created a very scenic effect. Situated right on the beach with the sound of the waves contributing to the relaxed atmosphere. Nice ambiance. Good drinks and food menu, including cocktails and sushi. Service very good. Must mention the name Ntosh, our waitress. She was excellent. Drink orders were taken on arrival and served quickly. I requested a slight change in my food preparation. She arranged it with the chef and confirmed. The food was good. All in all a very pleasing experience.

The Restaurant shines with non existent service and half of the menu out of stock. They were out of water (still and sparkling) and had no fish for their sushi. They only tell us this after trying to order sushi twice. First they tell us sorry we are out of salmon. Than when trying to order tuna sushi they come with the whole truth. No tuna as well. For having 2/3 of the whole menu consisting of sushi thats a very bad performance. We changed to pizza which took them 45-60 min to bring (Restaurant was almost empty). Avoid this place if you want to have a nice dinner.

A really nice hotel with perfect location right on the beach. However, you would have to get to the bathroom to cross the hallway. Luckily, everyone has their own bathroom. Since breakfast was also delicious.

Very nice atmosphere! In December 2017 for the season they demanded admission, whereupon we stayed away from this place! You already leave money for food and drink! Outside of the season you are back to normal as far as the prices are concerned! ☺

This restaurant gets 5 stars as they allowed us to sit on the outside deck with our dogs. It also gets 5 stars for the position and views… Beautiful beach and sea view! The menu isn't very exciting, and salads on offer very boring, but they did have the burger on special (no longer on the daily menu), and it was superb! Mussels were good too! Would be great if they could offer Banting pizza options like their competitors. Great ambiance on a sunny day!

The Bungalow is absolutely fantastic! Sitting on the patio, you can well imagine yourself on a romantic island, with its panoramic sea view! The food is absolutely delicious! You can well spend the afternoon there, drinking fabulous cocktails while watching the dolphines playing in the serve! Well worth the visit!

Beautiful spot. Views from the restaurant are stunning. Venue it self is great. Kids friendly. Ate sushi and drank beer on the visits that we were there. Only down side is that service slows down quite a bit when they are busy. Service was friendly.

Great restaurant! If you want to order dinner make sure to be there by 20h30 at the latest as their kitchen closes at 21h00. We ordered hake and calamari, it was a bit cold but still not bad. The side salad was pretty good compared to other restaurants I have visited. It has a great and lively vibe during the evenings.

We visited the Bungalow after hearing that it was a great place for a few drinks. It took us 20 minutes to get menus but only after a member of our party got up and asked for them. After asking for a cocktail menu, the waitress told us that there were no cocktails being served — no reason was offered. The staff weren't sure about the price of their beers or the specials that were running that day. We were given conflicting reports on how much a bucket special was. The beers ordered on tap arrived at room temperature. We heard that other patrons had been waiting an unreasonable amount of time for their sushi which put us off ordering anything other than drinks. It's a lovely venue, but has a few teething problems that are hard to ignore.

There aren't any bathrooms available for staff to use, so they've got to walk and stand in line at the not-so-close public bathrooms. Owners apparently made this decision. Pretty repulsive treatment of their staff.

Absolutely amazing views and the place itself is great too. A great place to stay as the staff are amazing and it is a good place to have family. The menu is spectacular with a great variety of tasty foods, their sushi is fantastic. A great bar that has a happy hour and is a great place to have sundowners with friends and they are well priced for such great quality food and drink.

Such a nice place for sundowners relaxing and feels like you’re in Hawaii! Beautifully redone. Didn’t have a meal there but will next time! Friendly staff.

Brilliant restaurant, it's got the perfect beach vibe with a TV and loads of bean bags to sit on, and the pool as well! The food is also delicious. The waitress accidentally got us the gourmet burgers instead of the ordinary beef burgers so we got a surprise when the bill came along! But the burger was fantastic, and the area looks great.

Did not sleep well at all people partying late every night. Paying this much to hear locals partying till late every night is not my scene. Staff very friendly and helpful, but will never sleep here again.

The Bungalow proved to be a great place to stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, unit 4 is great for a small family. The staff were extremely pleasant with nothing being a problem. The in house chef makes a huge difference in that good food is easily available all a stones throw from the beach. Without a doubt a gem of a spot, we will definitely be back.
