More than I expected. In a great location.

We loved it so much we extended our stay. The team are so friendly, well trained and go the extra mile to make you feel so special. The room was beautiful, the bed comfortable and the facilities top notch. I celebrated my birthday during the stay and there was a bottle of fizz in our room and a cake and joyful singing at breakfast to mark it. The spa was also wonderful. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will be booking again for me next birthday week.

Me and my partner went for lunch on 18 September 2021… Food and wine was delicious the service was good friendly waitress… the view outside is amazing. We will definitely visit again.

Spend my Mother's bday there today at the spa. The ladies are very friendly. We felt so relaxed we didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Spa ladies you made my mother's bday very special. Special thanks to the staff of the lunch area the food were amazing and the singing and the special cake made moms day extra special. Thank you so much Turbine Staff, ❤️

Absolutely amazing, great food, both dinner and breakfast were scrumptious, great atmosphere, the design layout and fixtures on point, excellent and attentive staff, from reception, to bar and restaurant, only regret is not going there sooner

Beautiful, beautiful I mean beautiful. The interior is something you haven't seen before, breath taking I tell you. The staff, the environment makes you feel like home.

A very unique hotel and restaurant. A must see. But please please send your bar staff on a cocktail making course. The cocktails are a let down.

The hotel is modern and the decor is different from the norm. Room service is good. Hot breakfast is excellent. Salmon omelette was superb. My only complaint is that the continental breakfast was not good, poor quality fruit and pastries were stale. Was not impressed at all with the continental breakfast. The hotel is situated in a beautiful spot. Close to excellent seafood restaurants.

I would like to say hello to the front desk staff. Thy were not in the mood to great me, when I was there today. Thank to the waiting friendliness I had an good time.

Stayed in Suite 207 (the canal suite). Great staff service, complimentary champagne at turndown, and absolutely stunning and spacious suite with a beautiful view of the canal! Definitely recommend staying here if you come to Kynsna! There's also a cute seaside town with shops, bars and restaurants all within a very short walking distance.

The restaurant was not great for breakfast with slow service, lukewarm food and poor presentation for the price. Disappointing… as the venue itself is lovely.

Loved the exquisite look. Something different! Felt right at home! Friendly staff all around! The old hydro electrical pumpstation being turned into a 5 star boutique hotel! Well done.! The desk ladies was so polite in afrikaans as well! Impressed!

Excellent location in picturesque Knysna. Service is good but the food is the best. Good value for money accommodation with very interesting history. Come curious. Could be considered to be a bit on the pricey side, but that's to be expected from this area. You get what you pay for.

Very nice hotel. Original concept in a former power plant with a thermal engine. Very nice renovation. Spacious room. Pleasant staff. Diverse breakfast. Beautiful accommodation in an equally friendly seaside resort.

We ate in the restaurant. Good food and great service. Prices are preasonable.

The hotel consists of coloful tubes and you feel like you are in an old machine — room.

The interior of the restaurant was very interesting as the old factory's machine was still there and only repainted. The view from the cafe was beautiful. But we did wait quit some time for the food to arrive and our waitress was not always available to serve us even though there were only 3 tables. We only stopped for a light meal and the food was great in my opinion.

Service and food were excellent. Decor is magnificent and truly amazing. Staff were so friendly.

The spa area was a great addition and we throughly enjoyed that experience. The restaurant area is beautiful and has a great view and good coffee. The staff does seem to get overwhelmed a bit when volumes are high.

A unique hotel with unusual setting with the original equipment from thr power station set all around the hotel, great place to stay.

The hotel has a stellar look. It's pretty high end but doesn't feel snobby at all. The views of the canal are just gorgeous. The rooms are very spacious and thoughtfully decorated to match the factory style look of the hotel.

Island Cafe' is part of the Tourbine Hotel. Lovely decor. Very spacious. They have high chairs for children and also are very patient with them. Food is tasty. We had lunch here. We weren't happy with the wrap we ordered for our child so they very happly accepted to bring is a different option. The waitresses Maria abd Cynthia were very friendly and showed a lot of patience in spote our 2 children made a mess on the table.

I loved the place, the decorations the location and the staff were perfect. Height recommend.

Wonderfully unique inside architechture around an okd power station. Most of the main equipment was left in place. A museum and hotel in one in a beautiful setting.

An architectural unique hotel built around the old Knysna turbine great breakfasts beautiful surroundings the room was a bit small, but still beautiful and luxurious.

I stayed at the turbine hotel last year and absolutely loved it. Each room has an unique character and the food is top notch, I guess thats why it's a boutique hotel. I do suggest if your visiting knysna then go to the turbine hotel, whether its to find great knysna accommodation or just eat good food, they have it all.

What a hotel, Knysna in luxury! Loved the Island Cafe! 5 stars.
