This is a lovely place to stay when in Knysna… stayed here for the last 4years depending on whether west to south or south to east, and the owner (Brenda) is extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area should you wish directions or info from her…
The staff are brilliant, also very polite and will cook MOST items from the breakfast list… any way you like… very helpful ladies. Pool is a nice pleasant refuge once the heat of the day is lowering… wit…h glass of wine at the side + bag of biltong… what more do you want to enjoy the sun going down across the marina… lovely, lovely place… lovely people.

What a lovely warm place, I really enjoyed my stay. It's walking distance to the Knysna waterfront.

Quaint, spacious manor with a beautiful meal deck overlooking the lagoon and nice breakfast. Good location 15m walk from the marina. Does have an old feel, however perhaps a tad run-down for our liking. Bathroom was in poor condition and this did affect our stay. Also inadequate parking — we had to park on the street both nights. If on a budget would certainly stay here, however more can be afforded for this price.

Over the last 8 years we have frequently stayed at Knysna Manor House and have had consistently excellent stays. Brenda and her team run a consistently good establishment. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Lovely views from the deck. Close to all amenities.

There is nothing wrong with the location, just a 5 min walk from the Waterfront. Unfortunately is the guest house a bit worn out and the service a little bit tired. Neither Knysna or this place was our cup of tea.

But wouldn't want to book here again. Great location but building was a bit old for me. The noisy wooded floor, old furniture, limited TV channels, uncomfortable Room 2, etc.

Wonderfully owners and staff… nothing is too much trouble for them… rooms large and spacious, but cleaned and beds made every day. Pool a little small. But very functional. There is outside dining available should you wish… on an overhead deck… Fantastic place and THE best in Knysna.
