Great location. Staff at check in were really efficient. Room was well laid out and very comfortable. However, airconditioner was quite dated and sounded like a tractor. Heated pool was also a treat.

Fantastic service. Room was amazing and always neat. Breakfast spectacular. Went for our anniversary and got well wishes from the manager and staff in our room along with complementary treats. Will definitely visit the hotel again.

This luxury hotel is located on the edge of the lagoon and many of the rooms offer beautiful views of the water. Rooms range from standard twin bedded and double rooms to suites. Facilities include a swimming pool, spa and restaurant that serves breakfast only. A large variety of restaurants are on the hotel's doorstep.

Helpful staff with great location right by the waterfront. Breakfast was included with lots of options. Only stayed one night but enjoyed it. Could have used a gym but otherwise great.

Very well located hotel, right on the small harbour. With swimming pool and small bar. There is only breakfast. The Wi-Fi is free and also very good in the large rooms. The rooms are decorated in different ways. Some with bathtub and shower, others only with shower. A bit noisy.

Hotel is comfortably situated in Knysna Quays Complex within walking distance to satelite shops and restaurants. Walking distance to Thesen Island with all amenities. Already look forward to our next stay!

Very much a Marriott, all of the comforts any American would expect (two double beds, full breakfast buffet, easy check-in and check-out, free Wi-Fi). Great location along the waterfront. Overall an excellent balance between price and quality!

This hotel by far exceeded our expectations. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The view over the Marina was breathtaking. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Excellent location, great place for kids. Will definately be back!

Were staying in the context of a roundtrip from/to Cape Town a night here and very satisfied. Although not the latest but at least for South African conditions very well in shot. The breakfast buffet was well stocked, but the premises were close to their borders as many wanted to eat at the same time. However, the buffet was very quickly refilled. The staff were all very friendly. The facility made a very neat impression, no matter if pool area (heated), rooms or common areas. The location right on the waterfront is perfect. Can therefore be recommended by us at least for short trips without restriction.

The hotel itself is absolutely fine. Breakfast was above the standard and the staff was very helpful. The beds are a bit small (1.40m), have had better nights before in South Africa. The biggest disappointment was the laundry service. They charged us almost R500 for a bag full of clothes, most of it from my 2 year old. This felt like a big rip off. Would come again, but never wash my clothes here again.

Absolutely stunning open fresh hotel, lovely views and access. Only problem is training of staff should include not trying to push you out of the way when exiting the lifts or gaining access to the reception rooms. Also while we were there, there was a robbery in one of the downstairs rooms, robbers climbed over the little picket fence and tried the glass door and climbed in taking whatever was easily accessible while the occupants were sleeping at 04h00 in the morning. There should be warnings on the glass doors for this.

Competent and kind staff being at lobby, porter, breakfast, everywhere. We were immediately offered welcome biscuits and drink in our room. The bathroom was very nice, the AC seems however to have its own mind regarding the temperature you select. Very comfy beds in a probably recently renovated room. True that not all room have nice views and that there is no restaurant indoors, which is a severe drawback in winter, BUT, there are numerous contracted restaurants on the waterfront and one accepts Prokard if you have one, plus you are well informed upon checking in without having to ask. Definitely a hotel that deserves its 4 stars rating. Fast free unlimited Wi-Fi is another highlight. The common areas are in excellent shape. The breakfast is honest for the price, as for the rooms when booking as a Marriott reward cat. 1. A flaw however : internet station computers are unfortunately not powerful enough to transfer large pieces of data, check twice that your data is where you transferred it before deleting it on a device.

I come here all the time. Had never a bad experience. Everyone from the porter's right to the breakfast staff is always friendly. I am a tour bus driver, and I go to a lot of hotels. Knysna quays's standards is tops. Thank you guys. Anton VD Bergh.

Excellent service including breakfast and room-service. Definitely one of the most accommodating hotels in Knysna with direct access to the Knysna Quays.

Stayed in a lagoon view room which was comfortable and well equipped. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I'd happily stay here again. There was no restaurant to grab an evening meal in, but the hotel is located right at the waterfront in Knysna, so you can visit some of the restaurants there and charge the bill to your room or even order in as room service.

Comfy rooms right on the Quay. Staff very good. Although hotels only does breakfast you will spoilt for choice of surrounding eateries.

Beautiful view of the the Knysna Quays, for an extra R3 00.00. Standard rooms are just as comfy and offer good value for the Rand.

Ask for a lagoon view room. Modern hotels, comfortable.

Great hotel! Staff where amazing and the free Champagne and Chocolate to congratulate us on our anniversary was amazing. Pool is heated and saltwater. Soooo amazing! Breakfast was good… the only bad thing was the aircon. Inside the room and very noisy!

Good hotel in the centre of Knysna. Well located at the harbour with a nice ship design. Good breakfast. Rooms somewhat small for a double. Nice pool and restaurant terrace area. We felt very well.
