The most beautiful views and very good service.

We have visited many guest houses/lodges/hotels. Never before has staff and the managing team Rudi and Byron give us such hospitality and service. Chalets beautifully clean and equipped and the restaurants food is of the highest quality and at a reasonable price! A must see getaway. Treat yourself!

Such a beautiful green oasis in the middle of nowhere with delicious, fresh, tasty and big portions of food with lots of wild life and friendly staff.

Food was awesome, the staff were friendly and so helpful. This is a jewel hidden between the mountains and not an easy drive there, but worth every minute. Buck and Zebra drinking water right in front of you. Great great great. Inviting crystal clear swimming pool, great games room. We slept in the loft, supplied with great towels, bathrooms are comfortable and nice. Only problem is that we are not used to such hard mattresses. The bedding is great, just very hard. If I can I will surely visit again and again and again.

Beautiful part of our Cape, great bar, cottages lovely with fireplace. Sitting on nature surrounded with mountain, but nothing compared to the treatment our biker group received from the hosts Henry and Wendy on Friday night. You girls were great, haven't laughed that much in ages. Will see you again for sure. Love Jaco Bruwer.

Every thing about Rooiberg Lodge is just perfect for a great getaway! Friendly staff, perfect accommodation, flexibility with some self catering and the restaurant, makes this the ideal place. The beautiful surroundings and the opportunity to walk, run and cycle in this beautiful environment, is priceless.

A great oasis after the Rooiberg Pass (4x4 recommended if coming from Calitzdorp) Book beforehand! They most kindly arranged camping for us down the road. Great G&T, luscious green grass, a lake with birds and a hide and, with luck, a giraffe or two.

An oasis in the wilderness. Green grass, immaculate swimming pool, picturesque dam overlooked by a spacious bird watching platform. Friendly staff. Their wild animals come to the lodge. You need to book far in advance. We arrived when everything had already been booked but they kindly arranged for us alternative accommodation close by. You can take walks and many of the guests are return visitors.

We did the Cross Cape and stopped over for a night. It was amazing, an oasis in the middel of nowhere. Such nice people and an amazing pool that was well used after a long day riding our bikes. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely place, nestled in the Rooiberg amidst the rocky outcrops of the Klein Karoo.

Great place, perfect setting. Fantastic swimming pool after a long day outside. Accomodation is perfect from luxury to Back Packers type. Clean bathrooms in the backpacker with more than enough showers for everyone.

Ronel and Staff went out of their way to ensure that our group of 8 Adventure Motor Cyclists had a comfortable overnight stay at Rooiberg Lodge. Thank you very much — we will certainly visit again.

Very beautiful, if you have a of road capable vehichle then take more scenic route from oudsthoorn side. Over the rooiberg pass.

Absolutely stunning place! Most gracious host — thank you Henry for the most delicious rusks you gave us for padkos. We arrived after teatime, but that was not a problem for you. (4 weary old folks — the one in crutches driving us there) I'll still get Anna's (I think you said) recipe!

This is one of the best places I've stayed lately. Great staff great food and a warm and welcome atmosphere. I'll be back.

This Lodge has a lot to offer. Good wine and good company. I recomend this to everyone.
