Carmel was PERFECT! 5 STAR experience. And a brilliant option for a Covid getaway as there is so much space for social distance! A one-week holiday felt like a month away. I want to go back again and again! I can't put it all down in a few words so here is my review… We opted for the self-catering unit. Although the furniture was stuck in the 70's, the house was extremely comfortable with lots of space and unbelievable views. After just 24 hours on the property, we were sold… Lees verder.

The van dyk, Lewis and Williams families are safely back in East London we spent a little over a week with u guys and thank u very much everything was top notch friendly staff, good food, beautiful rooms u will def be seeing us again God bless.

Carmen is a little piece of heaven with staff that go the extra mile and cooks and waiters who make and serve delicious food. The atmosphere is unlike any we have ever experienced anywhere. My husband and I were there for a little break last year after a very traumatic few months. We were blown away by the love and compassion of the staff. We left to go back home feeling totally restored and healed. The Christian fellowship was incredible. It is a place that will welcome and love anyone with open arms.

It is a very blessed, peaceful place! A place of many happy returns. A place to draw aside from daily routine and pressure and just be with God.

Carmel is in the most beautiful setting you could wish for with gorgeous gardens too. The food is delicious & the people are so friendly, you feel like part of a family when you're there. I think it's really reasonable.

Truly an amazing place. Where you can get closer to God while enjoying the wilderness. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is both spiritually and physically tired.

Great camping facilities. And their Christian based service is wonderful. And great swimming pool facilities as well.

Really nice people! Huge pool and stunning chapel to go to, also they have a lively charismatic church service in their Barn every Sunday morning at 10, so one can check out and go to feed your soul and spirit, get touched by God and then embark in a safe journey back home.

A good family who make guests feel like home, and who treat guests as family members. And from the room back balcony, you have a beautiful view of the ocean (on Victoria Bay) through two mountains.

Brilliant camping facilities… Lots to do for the family.

We had the opportunity to have our incoming Rotary Club George Presidents inaugural function here. Great food, good service and all our little extra requests have been accommodated. Stunning views!

Wonderful stay with friendly staff. The serene environment works wonders, with hordes of sun birds sipping nectar from the flowery gardens and breath taking views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We also participated in one of the events running at the time of our stay and had a wonderful learning experience. May the Lord continue to bless this place and the people who visit.

A peaceful, secure place to have time out! Beautiful gardens, wholesome meals and efficient and very friendly staff. And only a three minute drive to Vic Bay. What more to say? I've been visiting since 1998 and will keep visiting!
