Peace full and most restfull place you can be. Heaven on earth.

We have caught a bad weather, nevertheless it was very nice of you! The colorful sugar for the tea and coffee makes a good mood :-) The farmer Neels is a funny narrator, his wife Anne-Lize makes wonderful jams and the Manager grilling the perfect Strauss steaks! The farm is a fantastic place to relax, enjoy nature and yet have the option to get out and experience the surroundings. It offers a fantastic balance of service and self — catering — the dream of every toddler's mom. The food is fantastic. I highly recommend the farm for short and longer stays. Very kid friendly!

It was a great stay with super hosts! Just awesome and nice and quiet. The Farm is on a mountain. Sheep, dogs, cows, and Strauss and a great landscape. … Very very nice active host! For dinner, there was a South African music group. Top food and great people met there.

What a wonderful experience to be able to experience the hospitality of true old world charm. Visiting the Ostrich farm was very informative. Food was genuine home cooked and full of flavour. Everything is cooked and baked on site, right down to the bread.

This was a delightful place to stop on our way from Cape Town to the Eastern Cape.

We were here in 2002 and 2018 and we liked it very much both times. The Uyls family are perfect hosts! The new guest housemers in the south are very nice. Dinner and breakfast are special and deserve a separate chapter. The farm is no longer an ostrich farm with thousands of animals, but there are still enough bouquet for the morning and the farm tour! Be sure to book if you have been on the Garden Route since! From here via Route 62 to Oudshorn or by ferry to de Hoop!

Great farm for the whole family, lots of parents with children, delicious food, pool … Etc.

Lovely place in the middle of nowhere! Everybody was so kind, the main house is wonderfully furnished. The pool is nice. The food is amazing — best oistrich steak I‘ve ever had! We stayed for three days and had a wonderful slowing down time! The tour in the morning (1, 5 hours) is very nice for children and adults.

Very serene, middle of no where. Purple Lucerne fields. Warm fires and cute rooms. Worth a trip off the beaten track.

Right from the moment you pull up you feel like part of the family and it's very cool to go out in the morning with Niels and see how the day to day on the farm works out. The food is also great.

Can I recommend without hesitation to anyone.

A warm and comfortable place to be! Dinner was a delight and a breakfast with more than enough to choose from. Main attraction of this guest farm are the ostriches. So expect a lot of ostrich stuff around. Benches, slippers, your food and breakfast, all are made of them. Last but not least, the incredible view with sunrise and sunset in the mountains, with a bright yellow bonus if the Canola fields are flowering.
