Owner and Wife lovely and welcoming, room, neat and tidy, gatdens, MAGNIFICENT! Authentically Beautiful!

Because they refuse to give accommodation to a friends son, because he is a black African.
My friend is a white single dad, who adopted his son 18 years ago and gave him the chance to a better life.
Obviously the racist Owner of that Guesthouse did not realize that we have 2021.
How dare you…

Tranquil, wholesome amd charming. A beautiful sanctuary where you rejuvenate.

Its a peaceful place perfect to get away from the noisy city its surrounded by trees and plants and flowers the rooms are homely and the atmosphere is great. All u hear are the sounds of the birds and rustling of the trees.

We have stayed at Yellow Aloe very time we have visited Clanwilliam. The property is beautiful and spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful and the garden is magnificent! Such a wonderful get away spot. Looking forward to visiting again sooooooon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at the Yellow Aloe Guesthouse and enjoyed a swim in the pool of the Thatch Cottage. We were thrilled about the lovely garden with all the nice details. The Thatch Room was very clean and spacious. We would definitely book again!

This is one of the most amazing places I have ever been. Once I arrived, I did not want to leave. Its like a eat, love, pray, find your self place. Beautiful settings of the mountains, 3 swimming pools and the most creative things you can ever imagine to find. Stunning gardens and lovely accommodation. But the owner makes the place. She has a magical energy about her and has made this place unique must to visit and stay place. I will definitely go back. Thank you universe.

Lovely, quaint guest lodge in Clan William. We were really made to feel welcome and enjoyed early morning on the veranda. Will definitely be back.

A beautiful setting for a most relaxing breakfast stop. Thanks for accommodating us for a delicious late breakfast on Sunday 22nd April after hiking in the Cederberg for 6 days.

Very beautiful place and buffet breakfast that has a very huge variety of food. I liked the garden and old ornaments in the garden.

Amazing venue with amazing people. Decided on a stop over during out trip and was so glad that I did. Cheryl and Michelle run a very very lovely B&B with fantastic views, gardens, food and service. Last night was the first night with a new chef and I think it was a great choice. Food was perfect with a great local wine accompaniment. Breakfast was great with local produce. Our room was appropriately named “Thatch” room and we fell asleep with the nostalgic smell of thatch — brought back many memories. To top it all off Cheryl took the time to show us — on the map — some great sights to see on our drive. So great to see someone so passionate about the region. Thanks so much Cheryl & Michele.

A little oasis among the barren beauty of the Cederberg Mountains.

Run by a friendly and efficient couple, the guest house offers clean rooms, nice surrounding garden and a couple of small swimming pools (while water supply last). Good breakfast included and friendly staff.

Beautiful views and the best carrot cake in town! Also have free Wi-Fi. Definitely worth a stop.

Booked into the Annex as two couples, we had to share one bathroom. The house is equipped with a kitchen but the owner does not seem to be very keen that the kitchen is to be utilised. The kitchen needs cleaning. There is a Weber braai outside in the court yard with fire lighter as well as Charcoal but when we used it, the owner got very annoyed and very rude. These items should be removed from the courtyard should the owner be concerned that negligent tenants and their actions might be a hazard to the thached roof. Although it was fairly breazy, there was no hazard as we were attending to the fire properly in order to ensure that there was no fire hazard. Accommodation Never to be used again.

I stopped here for a coffee while en route to the mountains for a camping trip. I was pleasantly surprised to discover this guesthouse also had a small garden. I enjoyed a toastie and browsed the small shop before heading on my way. I'd come back to try the guesthouse.
