Do not fear, there are other delicious options as well. Have kids? They will love the view of cows roaming nearby! Inside or outside, both options have their own treat…

One of the best Rosé wines that I have tasted. My husband is obsessed with the Merlot. He stocks up on a few cases every 2 or 3 months. The pizza is also delicious! Lovely, friendly & bubbly staff too.

Food is good but shocking service. Especially when you are trying to give them business and the staff is rude to you. We went else where.

Unfortunately it was not possible to buy any of their amazing wine during this time of lockdown, but the food did not disappoint. Service was excellent, highly recommend them.

Gorgeous outdoor venue! Lovely place to relax with friends, whether on the benches literally “under the oaks”, or to kick off your shoes and laze on the grass. Scrumptious pizzas are a bit overpriced, but portion sizes are good and the ingredients are always fresh! Very child friendly.

Lovely atmosphere with stunning view from the pizzeria. Their pizzas tasted great. Tiramisu was good too. There is a jungle gym for kids to play. Service is friendly and quick.

What a lovely pizzeria, not only in the summer but such a cosy atmosphere even in winter time. Chocolate lovers have to try their lint hot chocolate!

We booked a table for 4 for lunch this past saturday. The service was excellent. The food was served very quickly and the waitress really paid a lot of attention on placing us at the right table. Thank you to her. We loved the brandy pudding. Well done to the chef! The pizza & pasta was divine.

Great accommodation: peaceful and luxurious. Pizza at the main house is delicious and we indulged twice over the weekend. We also enjoyed the Hero Adventure set up at Rhebokskloof where mountain biking, horse riding and quad bikes (among other activities) are offered. We will definitely be back!

Visited this establishment during the festive period and was just as impressed as when I first visited a few years ago. The ambience is very casual when you walk in and the seating under the oaks is welcome on a hot summer day. The drinks selection is nice with a good range of beer and other drinks. We started with the focaccia which was delicious and a great start to the meals. Moving on to mains, the dishes were served timeously and were delicious. Everything was well made and had care put into it. The flavours fromthe pizza's was great and I recommend trying any of them.

Under Oaks is an amazing restaurant. I have never received poor service and I have never received poor quality food. Their pizza are proper wood fired and thin based. And every single one is super tasty. And with reasonable prices to boot, you could not go wrong with Under Oaks. This is a great place for a Sunday lunch or even just a mid week dinner.

Such a peaceful place to have lunch. The pizzas are great. Prices are also affordable. Altogether a perfect outing.

One of our favourite local spots. Lovely setting; consistently good food and service from great staff. Very good and well-priced wines from the estate. Our only complaints are as follows: the owner never gets up from behind his desk to greet his patrons or inquire about their experience; he only offers one type of pasta (penne) — which for an Italian restaurant is mildly irritating; and the seating offered outside should be more comfortable. We absolutely HATE benches with no backrests! Those were fine in student days… With regard to this — they also have a very strange policy of not taking bookings for the inside of the restaurant. We often prefer to sit inside in summer, due to the more comfortable seating, or because of bad wind outside. However, they generally won't allow bookings because they prefer to keep the inside seating for those who've booked for outside and need to move in due to bad weather conditions. We have arrived on occasion, on the spur of the moment, when they are full outside, but empty inside — and they have turned us away because of this policy! As a result, we do not go there nearly as often anymore.

Did not know of this place till we were invited today, and I was completely blown away! I drove all the way out of Bellville and it was well worth it. The staff os very friendly and assisted our table well and they kept us well informed. The pizza was the highlight of the evening. I have had many pizza's but ill drive all the way out for more of your Pizza's! Well done Under Oaks.

Good food, excellent service… however, the manageress was not very accommodating. We weren't allowed to bring in wine from the winery that was not on the restaurants menu… even tho we were prepared to pay a corkage.

One of the stops on our 2 week honeymoon! Amazing! From the start to end! The food at the pizzeria was divine! The rooms are clean and luxurious! The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Joe who is always on the ball! It is peaceful and beautiful! Really was a pleasure staying there and cannot wait to go again! Thank you!

One of my best stays ever @ traveling around the world. Location — unbelievable. Wine — gorgeous. Staff — giving me the feeling that I am at home. I'd love to stay again! My stay was in Feb 2015
