A little gem hidden between the huge selection of B&B’s, hotels, wine estates and other lodges along the R44. Attention for every little detail both inside and outside. A wonderful breakfast buffet, complimentary wines between 6-7pm, an excellent Italian restaurant on the premises and two managers that will assist you in every way possible. Located between Stellenbosch and Somerset West and only 15 minutes from the beach in Strand. A good base for hikes in the three nearby Nature Reserves (Jonkershoek, Helderberg, Mont Rochelle). Even Cape Town is less than an hour away. On a clear night it is said, one can see the fire tower on Cape Point from the doorway of the main building. Guess we will have to return to witness that.
