We were welcomed and treated like family. We Loved that it was close to the hospital and easily accesible, and would recommend it to Anyone visiting Stellenbosch. We were spoilt with wood fires, marvellous breakfasts and a hot water bottle every night! I Absolutely Loved my stay! See you soon!

Was an amazing stay over… very clean friendly and private!

Good value for money — loved the 4 poster beds & bed linen. The fixtures & fittings/ built components of the house felt a little bit tired and in need of renovating — but suited the price point. The outside stoep could have been furnished a little more comfortably. breakfast is included: fresh fruit, muesli & yoghurt with the option of french toast, an omelette or porridge were on offer… there were also different arrays of cakes & buns, basically bottomless filter coffee & tea throughout the day The decor made us think of 7de laan mixed with a Wes anderson movie :) The staff were really accommodating & super helpful.

Warm, welcoming, friendly. I wish I could stay for longer and will definitely stay there again. However I wish there was some bacon, sausages, mushrooms for breakfast and more fillings for the omelette. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our stay was very pleasant! The room was beautiful and comfortable. The many wall plugs (including 2 point and usb) was very convenient. The Wi-Fi is very slow though, and the cooked part of the breakfast consisted of only eggs, no bacon or sausage. The French toast was delicious! Overall, a great place with friendly staff and lots of potential,

Friendly and accommodating staff. Lost a star when they told me they didn't serve bacon in the buffet breakfast.

My daughter and I were extremely fortunate to be given a night at this beautiful guest house before her wedding. We were welcomed with such friendliness and the room was perfect and so spacious. The beds are not just comfortable, they luxuriously comfortable and the kitchenette was so handy when the Bridesmaids arrived in the morning at the crack of dawn to begin makeup and hair, there was fresh hot coffee and a breakfast which was served with such friendliness. The owner, Sherry Hoogenhout came to check that we were all fine and that we had all that was needed. What a perfect place to have the Brides last night and set up for a wedding. I can't wait to get the pictures so we can post them on FB of the beautiful room we had.

Cozy little self-catering stay over.

What a lovely guest house. From welcome, checking in, the lovely spacious room, breakfast and excellent service. We stayed for 4 nights, and we would go back any day. Turn down with hot water bottles and a crackling fire, what more can you ask for. We have a baby and you helped with a baby cot abd blankets. The kitchenette was such an unexpected bonus and helped wonderfully with bottle times. … A full breakfast every morning with a lot of variety, it was a pleasure to wake up to that smell. The service was fantastic, and the staff extremely helpful and friendly, thank you for that! We hope to visit you again in the near future. Dawie & Barbara Bauer.

We had the family room. Now most guest houses say they´re family-friendly. But when we came to the family room here, the message was: "We´re family-friendly, and we mean it! " My jaw hit the floor when I saw the "kids´room" — bunk beds with soft blankets and plush animals and lots of kiddie books. My kids were thrilled to see that! The "apartment" is also huge, with lots of space for the kids to move about and explore. The room was also equipped with plastic cups; that´s great… for small kids. Better cleaning up water from the floor when the darn kid drops the cup, than cleaning up water and shattered glass ;-) We were also very happy for the oatmeal porridge for breakfast. My kids love porridge, and it was a nice break from all the eggs and bacon and sausage… not that there´s anything wrong with that, but sometimes you just need a break :) The kids were also very happy for all the fresh fruit that was available. Oh… I hope my kids didn´t disturb the other guests too badly. Between one of them teething and the other having to deal with a painful treatment for a skin infection, I felt awful for the other guests every time they screamed :-P.
