Visit one of the most historic guest houses in the Boland. It's name is reminiscent of it's location and your neck gets stiff very soon trying to scale the top of mountains all the time. The staff are very helpfully and friendly and the atmosphere very warm. Go for a dip in the swimming pool or even better, go for a swim with the fish in their organic fresh water dam. End off the day with one of their cheese platters and a glass of red wine from the neighbours cellar.
Best experience ever. Never had I ever felt so at home with great views food and just all you need to perfect a well spend holiday. I would recommend Mountain Shaddows as a great venue, holiday and stay over accommodation… well done Kim, Anton and kids!
