Excellent employee services.

Service in general are very bad, waited for our lunch almost a hour. Food was cold. Room wasn't ready when we arrived.

Very good service and well trained friendly staff and the rooms are clean
will recommend this place.

Was greeted by a very friendly receptionist, who explained to me all hotel details and gave me the Wi-Fi password. Which I might add was unlimited, however I had really poor signal in my room. I would highly recommend the hotel investing in getting better signal through to their rooms. My room was enormous for just me. The shower was also big and worked out well. Once I figured out the confusion of the hot (which the tap had to be pointed to the cold direction). One of the few hotels that also had plugs right next to the bed, which was a massive bonus. The hotel restaurant was nice, I did find however that the breakfast menu was a bit lacking and could of had a few more choices that had bacon in them. Overall I had a really wonderful stay!

I went to Coco Levant, a restaurant that's just opened in the hotel. Honestly had such a great experience! I ordered their grilled halloumi sandwich on rye bread and had a Coco Chai latte. Both were new and authentic flavours that I hadn't yet experienced. This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. I can't wait to go back.

The place was great and the staff was very friendly I would recommend it to people because the decor was also very modern. A great price for a great place.

This little hotel has been given a facelift and is looking really splendid. They have secure parking at the rear of the hotel. A hair salon and a coffeehouse that makes some of the best coffee I have tasted.

Becos there services is gud the people that wrks there is very friendly n helpful, its a peaceful, clean environment I love being around the people at New National we feel like family there.

Good place for 1 night, no more days. There is a lot of noise outside and the piece is not complete.

This is probably the worst place I have stayed in over the 35 years I have travelled. Unable to book online. Phoned for a booking as I always like to try new places seems like tried to make booking with cleaning staff. Arrived to check in at 6pm room not ready. Told all would be sorted at my return after dinner. Not to my surprise still not ready at 8pm. Had to follow with my bags from room to room to find a suitable clean room. Breakfast not bad. On my return at 6pm my room had not been cleaned. Was told they could not clean as this (Hotel) can only afford one key per room and I took it with me. Was told they will clean it in the morning. Should hope so as I was checking out. I said this is not acceptable and said it will be clean when I get back from dinner. Again not to my surprise middle finger to the paying guest it was not cleaned. Needless to say they will never see me again. I will make sure our whole group do not come near this place. They try to call this a hotel. I will spread this all over social media just to help fellow travelers. You have been warned.

Finishings in the room are nice. Food is average. However when I opened the bed there where holes in the sheets. Service is good from some staff but non existent from others. So my 2nd day here came back to find room not cleaned. My colleague was here the precious night andbhad no towels. This place has potential with its finishings etc. But needs a lot of work service wise to be something.

The place is beautiful and clean, the service is wonderful, beautiful rooms, it's a great place to be in.

Freshly renovated this place looks nice amd it's moderately clean. It is just up the road from a shopping centre which is convenient. The loud bar downstairs is less so depending on your room.

Visit Straydog coffee roasters and eatery on site. Great breakfast and lunches even better coffee. Buy freshly roasted beans.

Thank you to Carl, Chris and their staff for a fantastic launch of the New National Lodge yesterday. We were taken on a tour of the Lodge and everything was designed smart and tastefull. The improvements is amazing allowing the Lodge to offer so much more to the customer. The staff is friendly and helpfull and the coffee shop and wine tasting room together with the conference area will be a huge success. I am sure you will grow to become a landmark for tourist and visitors to the Western Cape.

Friendly, Warm, Efficient, Helpful, Great ambiance, Value for money, Awesome staff, Great Service and all round fantastic stay. Facilities for our meeting and Conferences was great and met with food catering for all our needs. Thank you New National Hotel. Very pleased and happy!

Not a very nice place to be at when you are in Cape Town either for work or pleasure. Their rooms have no aircons, some rooms have open uneclosed toilets and it is next to the main road. Cars passing by makes such a big noise which makes it almost impossible to sleep. At night the street is riddled with prostitutes. This place simply bad news.

Pub outside with a lot of noise, people are here to relax! Not to hear people scream, swear and party! When I asked to speak to the manager they started to make up stories and say the phone doesn't work … after a while the reception told me that the manager was angry and they're to scared to call him … after I got his number and asked him for my deposit back he started to scream at me! I was there for 5 days and for 2 days I didn't even receive breakfast or my money back for my breakfast! This is absolutely unacceptable!

Me and my partner had a great weekend at the hotel staff was so friendly and always willing to help. I'm suprized person who assisted with my luggage to my room. Many thanks to receptionist young lady for check-in process. Breakfast was so great, best part is unlimited free Wi-Fi I do recommend this to everyone! very affordable. Will be going back soon.

The rooms are highly Executive, so neat and linen was very fresh, as a business man I was so impressed with the Wi-Fi network speed. I was shocked to hear that Wi-Fi and packing was free of charge! Staff was so freandly and always willing to help and interacting, food was so delicious and served timeously. Worse the Management is down to earth, I was shocked to know that the person who assisted with my luggage to my room was the General Manager Mr Chris Banda, indeed I admired your kind of leadership. Many thanks to receptionist young lady Lauren van de Pole for efficient check-in process as I was exhausted with a long flight. The Lodge is an ideal for cooperates and leisure. I do recommend this to everyone!
