I stayed eight nights at Olaf's and felt really much like at home. It felt safe, the interior of the "lounge" area was really cozy and someone had done great work at decorating the lounge. Hazel, Nikki and Raymond were very nice humans and we had long chats over variety of things. So glad I got to get to know these beautiful people! I stayed at Mouille Point and it's close to the staff room. It was of no nuisance to me and hopefully not to the staff either. I slept really …good, I haven't slept that well for a while. The shower and the bathroom were big enough for a bigger person, too. There are many fairly good restaurants very near the guesthouse such as The Duchess of Wisbeach, Posticino and La Boheme. There are also a Pick 'n Pay and a lot of small grocery shops nearby. The citysightseeing (red busses) bus stop is 300 meters away, so the location is really good. Hazel, Nikki, Raymond, thank you for making my stay with you so cozy and welcome and relaxed. Annnnnd guess what? The 30 minutes to the airport wasn't enough time since it was a rush hour and people going to vacation and they were already boarding when I was at the baggage drop so I had to go under the queueing lines both in the security check and in the immigration but I made it! I looked ridiculous crawling on the floor but I made it. This was the third time that I was almost left behind, I think universe is trying to tell me to stay in Western Cape. ❤️ Definitely recommend this cozy guesthouse!
