Beautiful place, with stunning views. Waking up to the sea breeze and sounds made our stay breath taking.

Stayed in a room with a sea view and it was absolutely delightful. Waking up to the beach and the sound of waves was great. The room was reasonable with the basics covered and with A SUPER COMFORTABLE BED. The staff were 100. Only problem was that the Wi-Fi wasn't working so I spent alot on data.

A pleasant place that offers lovely views of Vamps Bay, nice rooms, friendly staff, good breakfasts and poor Wi-Fi. Altogether good value for the location and area.

What more can u ask for a boutique restaurant with a room facing the sea at camps bay a balcony with tea table to enjoy the evenings by the sea a comfy reading area, other than the living area and bedroom — a suite without walls a cheerful and friendly host.

Definitely not 4 stars! We were in the room in the corner on the outside, away from the rest of the hotel, felt like they double booked rooms over December and gave us the room at the last minute even though we booked months in advance. There's no sea view even though the room stated it had sea view. It also shared a door to the owners room which was weird cause you could see through the little gap in the middle of the door. No coffee/tea facilities, there wasn't even a bin in the bathroom! Sheets were always wrinkled, room had owners old furniture and the drawers were filled with tools and other junk. Bunch of skate board stickers on the cupboard, could have been the owner's child's room. Manager was absolutely rude and pretended to sound like a foreigner even though he's from Durban. He was not helpful at all when we complained about the room, the gate to the beach road never worked, we always had to walk around. Once again he was apathetic. He refused to carry guests luggage and there's quite a number of stairs to walk up. There are only 5 parking bays, so if you get parking, you'll be super lucky else you have to park on a side road. The location is great and this place has so much potential just a pity about management. Breakfast is horrible, coffee was never good, food is disgraceful, honey bottle was covered with ants. I would not recommend staying at the place!

View and location is good. And that's about it. Definitely not 4 star as described. And not a hotel. Let's say ok only.

Great location right on the beach front of Camps Bay. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was 5 star worthy. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was not open when we were there but who needs it when the ocean is just a 1 minute walk away.

Booked for 2 nights and get confirmation… Arriving from Pretoria and they say "Sorry, no rooms available"! Plus they advertise as a 4 Star HOTEL and they are ONLY a 3 Star GUEST HOUSE! What the …?!

Beautiful location. Convenient for tourist and city buses. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance from several excellent restaurants.

The food gave made me throw up, the Wi-Fi sucked, and the receptionist was so mean. I don't recommend this hotel.

I visited this hotel about 5 years ago, it was a most enjoyable holiday with days spent on the beach in front of the hotel and evenings spent in the restaurants of Camps bay. The hotel itself stepped, raised on a hill with the rooms facing the ocean — an extraordinary view. It has a small pool which provided a nice area to sit and socialise in the evening but with the ocean so close seemed almost a folly. The room were beautifully presented, decorated with local art and tasteful furnishings. The staff were helpful, polite and spared no effort in making me feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a spot to tour the cape from.
