WOW! To be able to sit on the chalet's porch and take in that view, is absolutely stunning and pure food for the soul. Superb staff and reception and an amazing restaurant on-site to boot. Experienced it all recently and highly recommend!

What a beautiful gem, and the best kept secret! There is so much peace here with no day visitors allowed and the view takes your breath away. It's the perfect holiday. Very helpful and friendly staff!

Panorama chalets has the best view combined with the pool. It is amazing and refreshing to wake up to such a brilliant view. I love everything about the place. The staff is friendly specially the receptions. Best place to be for a vacation.

Very good camping spot with magnificant view! Facilities and infrastructure are overall well maintained an cleaned. Only necessary improvement has to be done to the showers floor. Concrete is damaged and mats are really ugly. Staff is very friendly and suportive.

Filthy chalets… beddings looks filthy. Water is cold. Stoves are not working properly. The least we talk about the furniture the better.

So the place has a really breath taking view. It really is stunning. There's really nice pool however the hospitality and maintaince is terrible. They really need to upgrade the place. Cleanliness is 4/10. We found stains on the bedsheets, sticky stuff in the shower, grease on the counter and tears on the funiture. The dishes had marks on them too. If you come during the winter please bring extra bedding since there are no heaters. This really annoyed because me and my family because we are clean freaks but once you go outside to look at the view then you feel better.

Wow wow wow. The staff are all so friendly. From the resort admins to the kind gentleman that unblocked the shower drain. The facility are very clean and the views are amazing. The on site restaurant is well maintained and serves excellent food. I will most definitely be back. What a perfect place to have a holiday. Its also very central to the surrounding areas like Sabi, Hazyview, Pilgrims rest, the Blide river canion and the Kruger national park.

This is such a nice place to be, the view from the pool is so amazing… The campsite is clean and very safe. The staff is very friendly, all in all we had a very nice stay there.

It has excellent surroundings and beautiful outside. They need to change or renew paint, furnisher and linen. Clean but a bit old.

The facility is great. The view fantastic.
Small pool. More for children. Unfortunately, the facilities in the cottages are a bit sparse and either very old or broken. Nevertheless, we are not there for the first time. To enjoy peace and quiet, a SUPER place.

Just heavenly if one is at the point of view at the good times…

The chalets in the first row offer spectacular views, same with a swimming pool in front of the reception. There's a small restaurant at the premises. Rooms are neat, but quite old, especially bathrooms. Most of the chalets are standing almost on the edge, but no guarding is provided. Very inconvenient if you have small kids. The service is appropriate and the staff is friendly. There's also camping site at the premises.

The place is only good to stay for sleeping through the night. The rooms are very small. I literally mean very small. There are no ceiling or table fans. It's hot inside the chalet during afternoon. There is no Wi-Fi facility. The biggest concern I felt, was the security. You will find none at the main entry gate during morning and afternoon. Only after 7 pm they are placed at entry gate. One more thing, once me and my family were swimming in the common pool inside the chalet, groups of people from outside, NOT staying in panoroma came inside to the pool area. As it has a good view, people photographed and went back. There was no incident. Still I felt very worried during that time.

This place is a MUST for nature lovers, since it is right in the middle of all nature activities/nature sights. The view is insane, and can be enjoyed while in the pool or enjoying a delicious meal and/or drink at the restaurant (called Divine Foods @ The View. ) The owners/staff are wonderful people and work 24/7 to give guests a great experience. (They also follow quite a few eco-friendly practices. This is a MASSIVE PLUS! )

Went there twice in 2015. We had a great time. It is central to most tourist attraction areas, Pilgrims rest, Mac Mac falls, Kruger park and just 5min away from the nearest town. The rooms are a bit outdated and maybe need a bit of a revamp, but they are liveable. The views are spectacular, that is one of the best things about this place. If you are looking for a place to stay for the weekend and do near by touring, I would recommend this place.

I went here for my birthday in October, weather was really bad like grey misty bad. Accommodation does not suit cold weather in that they aren't any heaters in the room we were in. The food at the restaurant is not anything to write home about. Location is pretty amazing in that it's pretty central to quite a few major sightseeing areas. The scenery at the place is out of this world. If you aren't to fussy about accommodation, I'd recommend this to you.

We are camping on a huge site close to the ablutions, kitchen and laundry. R10 to wash, R14 to tumble dry. Bathrooms & showers have been upgraded. Only about 2km from town — Graskop.

Really friendly staff. The camp site is situated centrally with many great attractions close by. The site has some camping spots and chalets with great views.

Great place to stay. Self catering houses with outside braai area. All of these have great views over the gorge. Swimming pool on the edge with camp sites available.

Avoid this place like the Plague If you are looking for a nice peaceful place to enjoy a vacation this is not it. Management is so hard up for money that they demand R10 for a junk map before they will give travel directions. The campsites are filthy, and muddy from the nightly rain. There is no adherence to their own noise policies and they allow large groups of young people to make noise until 2am, without repercussion. Management take no responsibility for anything that occurs on their property and blame everyone including the gate guard for their own failings. From the attitude and the state of repair of the buildings here it is pretty obvious that the owners have run out of money, and are not investing in normal maintenance and upkeep let alone managing the place to normal standards. As we were unable to enjoy the peace and quite expected in such a place we left early. Management of course not only refused to refund our unused site rental, a mere US $32.00, but refused to reply to any correspondence sent to them. Pretty view but not worth the aggravation of dealing with these people. Stay Away! Update: Interesting to see that the owner has the time to be able to respond to my comments, but did not have the time or manners to respond to my emails. Not a smear campaign, just a campaign to make prospective customers aware the this is not a good place to stay, and to investigate other places in the area.

This is a great place to camp. The facilities are clean and in order. The view from the pool and camp ground is amazing. I will definitely be returning. Try the coffee options.

5 stars for the view and 3 stars for the service and cleanliness. If it is a break away you're after then this place is it. Prepare to be blown away by the beauty of the surrounding nature — you're going to feel fully immersed by the surrounds and you'll have the best view from "Row 1" as they call it. Affordable for groups and families and close to the CBD (where you'll get all you need). The locals are very friendly and very helpful too. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. PS: definitely check out the communal pool — you'll be mesmerized by the scenery.

Nice views and friendly reception staff. Spacious chalets and clean. Need to book minimum 4 nights-not always the preferred length of stay if on tour. A small investment in new linen, bed bases and a minor touch-up here and there will yield good guest satisfaction levels.

Amazing views of the indigenous forest of Graskopkloof gorge. Friendly staff and prompt service. Unit 11 has an outdated interior and bathrooms as well as an old and dirty lounge suite. The whole resort really needs a make over. Too pricey for what they offer. Beautiful swimming pool but it should be heated since it is too cold to use, even during summer time. The place has a good location from where you can explore the area. Lots of potential…

Although the view is absolutely spectacular and the pool looks amazing, we were very disappointed by the accommodation. Chalet number 1 is in desperate need of renovation… (old furniture in bad condition, shabby fridge, unpleasant smell and so on…) Such a pity…

We booked a chalet for 3 nights. Paid in advance. Didn't even stay one night after actually seeing the chalet. Preferred accepting the loss of the money paid (there is no refund) instead of having to stay in this horrible chalet. Started looking for other and better accommodation. The chalet was dirty and really small (there is hardly any space around the bed, you are really boxed in in the kitchen, etc. ). There is a couch but it's that low that you are almost sitting on the floor, and the sitting-material itself is really thin).

Arrived at just after 1400 to book in at one of the chalets, and were not even greeted with a smile. Service was sub-par to say the least. We eventually complained to the manager after 1500 because our chalet was still being cleaned. After a fuss about it we were finally offered the chalet next door which we reluctantly accepted. The only good thing about panorama is the view. Very high price for a very mediocre stay. My advice is only stay here if nothing else is available.
