Was disappointed by the slightly run down nature of the place. Poor stock management in the bar. A half assed printed attempt at a menu. inconsistent staff experience.

Serenity defined! Friendly and professional staff.

Beautiful and well reserved, recommend it for everyone.

A beautiful building, and a romantic setting in the wilds of Nelspruit, on a koppie. We were given the Presidential Suite, which was super spacious. Staff are incredibly friendly, with no request too much. The food is amazing, even during Covid times' reduced menu. We would particularly like to thank Donovan, as well as Benedict, and Paris. The chef, was very good. We enjoyed a massage at the spa, the masseuse was excellent! I would certainly recommend La Villa to my friends.

Both pools hot and cold were phenomenal.

This place is not good at all. Iwait for the food for 4 hours. I am so angry. They ruined my Christmas.

My husband and I made an appointment at and payment to the Spa. We drove all the way to do something special on our birthdays (which is on the same day). Once we arrived they conveniently "forgot" to make the booking and promised to refund us. (Also note that the prices on the website and catalogue isn't the same, but I didn't make a schene at all, about anything. ) Thie happened on the 20th of October and they still haven't refunded us. I've followed this up telephonically and via e-mail but no answer or response. My advice however just tripple check everything because you might be disappointed if you don't.

I had the BEST spa day here today in the most beautiful setting with fabulous friendly staff, fantastic relaxing treatments, a stunning pool, great food! I am left feeling wonderfully refreshed and completely relaxed — this was a much needed retreat and I can’t wait to come back for more! Special thanks to Winnie for my beautiful fresh nails! They are AMAZING! Thank you Villa Vita — just what I needed! Xxx.

I am not impressed with the rooms of the hotel. We booked online and it shows us a beatifull hotel with nice rooms and when we arrived, we were shocked. We leaving Tomorrow morning at 7 and we asked the lady at the reception, what time does the breakfast started and she said at 8:00 AM and she said she will organise for us to eat breakfast a bit earlier than the normal time and thus Evening I were shocked about the breakfast. What kind of breakfast is this (bread with lettuce and cheese and an apple). That is not the breakfast that this hotel always served. The service is not up to standard. I am not happy with this hotel, I don't think I will come here ever in my whole life. There are other hotels around in Nelspruit that are better than this one.

Thieves! I paid for half-board for two people with access to the Spa. They tried to make me pay the entire meal, and then the starters and desserts and finally only the desserts! I have never seen that in an hotel. The spa was always closed, apparently you have to book in advance! When you come in a hotel it's to relax and not stress!

Very peaceful and tranquil, staff are very welcoming and accommodating to your needs. This has become a regular place for business travellers. I would highly recommend, has a heated pool, massages etc at the venue. The restaurant is a bit pricey though.

We had a very short visit here but it was great. What a great hotel, Beautiful setting, picture perfect, friendly staff, comfy rooms, & nice pools, Would definitely recommend this hotel. I don't mind going back there :)

Beautiful setting with great hosts! Threw our mother a surprise birthday dinner there and we were well taken care of the whole night. People are still raving about the food!

We travel a lot as pilots and we just loved this place. Excellent and great service. This is my choice of stay when I fly in here next time. The heated pool and spa was just a bonus to relax after a long flight. Would recommend this to anyone.

At our arrival we were told that there was a mess-up with the bookings, and they were fully booked … (although we have booked and payed) They offered to find us other accommodation but we chose to rather just leave. Much later that evening we booked into Schneider 's in White River. What a beautiful place! Professional excellence, exquisite food and beautiful surroundings made us forget about the bad experience with La Villa Vita!
