The garden is beautiful they take care of if regularly. The food choice is great every night it is something else something taste from south africa.

Great place we really enjoyed our stay l. It would be great if they had microwave in the the rooms.

I stayed for two nights when visiting my son at Maritzburg college. Warm atmosphere. Clean spacious room. Swimming pool with thatched lapa and braai area. Will stay there again. Very friendly barman. We didn't eat at the restaurant because we braaied but the buffet smelled really good.

Some rooms look as though the rooms were converted from stables. Good value for money, very spacious and clean rooms. Meals feel as though they've been prepared from home. Large field outside with a lovely water feature; pick a spot and have a picnic.

Nice quiet place has a bar and one pool table.

Food is always amazing … free Wi-Fi connection through out your stay.

This place has very affordable rooms, rooms are wheelchair accessible, the staff is friendly and professional. It is situated in a very quiet suburb in Pietermaritzburg and an 1 hr drive from Durban beach. You can opt for breakfast and lunch with your stay very tasty food and coffee very good. Conference and wedding venue available as well.

We stayed at the Ascot Inn from 1st JUne to 3rd. The rooms were clean and the reception at the gate efficient even though it was after 10pm. The surroundings are superb. We will definitely return. Mr and Mrs Matsoso From Lesotho.

I was there this past weekend. I have to say, one of the best places I've been at! I love the environment and the whole atmosphere there, very relaxing!

Lives up to three star reputation. Room decor was a bit weird and I'm not a fan of flower bedspreads. Pillows were a bit too soft (felt old). Staff super friendly, pretty surroundings, beautiful garden.

On an official tour to Pietermaritzburg, I got my room booking in Ascot Inn by my company. Other than the accommodation facilities, they served us really well with their hospitality services. The prices they charged were reasonable and I enjoy staying at their hotel all through my tour.
