Everything about granny mouse is absolutely amazing… had a very nice stay with them… very friendly staff, all covid protocol followed. Rooms are very neat and clean. Meals were Devine. Would definitely be visiting again.

We had our wedding at Granny Mouse and were incredibly impressed with the Granny Mouse team, thanks so much to Sean and Veronica for all your assistance and for ensuring our day ran so smoothly. Veronica was quick to answer any questions we had and was a huge help both in the lead up to the day and on the day itself. The food was incredible, we got compliments from all our guests, thanks to Chef Theo and the kitchen team. Service from the wait staff at both our canape hour and at the reception was impeccable. Thanks again to all at Granny Mouse for making our day so special, in such uncertain times it was a pleasure working with you. I recommend Granny Mouse to all couples considering where to get married, we had the best experience with them and had no complaints.

What a lovely gem this place is. It would be awful to not review it. My friends and I did a wine and mousse pairing followed by dinner at the restaurant. The wine pairing was amazing, the lady that conducted it had such a nice aura and was very knowledgeable. The food at the restaurant was amazing and to my surprise it was so affordable too. The ambiance was EVERYTHING and more! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, I'm definitely coming back here.

Beautiful scenery, refreshing and calming, a perfect escape from the city not too far from the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very spacious. We visited with our 9 months old daughter whom was accomodated perfectly from cot beds to feeding high chair in the bistro.

The hospitality at Granny Mouse was amazing, could not find fault with anything really. Even though we did find a few spiders in the room but that may just be nature and the surroundings. Service was great and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we’ll be back for sure.

We had our small office party at Granny Mouse yesterday and we were blown away! The table was beautifully decorated, the food incredible and the service was outstanding. From the very beginning, all emails were promptly replied to and they were so accommodating and helpful whilst trying to organize everything. Thank you thank you!

I would certainly recommend GMC house and spa. It is sooooo wonderful, peaceful, beautiful, magnificent place to take a vacation. It was my sister 's birthday and we had such a great time. The stuff is amazing and friendly, Nokwanda takes the cup for me if I had one to give, big ups to her and keep giving the best service. Thank you all and especially for the away present.

It was our 3rd time back at GM… amazing service, wonderful atmosphere, food to die for and value for money. Theo is a super star… I loved the breaking of the bread… This time round was even more special when I realised that they have employed a person with disability in the kitchen…

Had a really nice stay here. Friendly staff, well maintained rooms and the restaurants are epic! Some minor construction work going on, so the bar is not available but the cellar is available and the spa is really nice. We visited in winter so couldn't use the pool but the fireplace in the room was amazing!

Very peacful, tranquil and beautiful place to get away from the husle and busle of life. Heated bathroom floors and towel rack with aircon and fireplace. Mobile reception bad in certain areas. Free Wi-Fi. Excellent spar services but tends to get busy so book spa visit beforehand.

Have never stayed overnight at this lodge. However, have been there for meals which are above average. Always delicious and yummy! The staff here are always efficient, polite and friendly…

Fresh ideas in food, excellently prepared. For me, ranks as top restaurant in Midlands. Newly built units and older units provide private rustic escape.

Spent part of our honeymoon here. It was by far our favorite stop. We were well looked after by the entire staff and enjoyed the amazing dinner menu. We had massages as well which were very relaxing. One of our favorite places to go on holiday.

I had absolutely enjoyed my visit at this beautiful country house! The views of the green fields are gorgeous, the spa was delightful, the bistro had delicious food, their hospitality is fantastic and they've got the most adorable lovely chapel surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Visited The Bistro @ Granny Mouse Country House for dinner. They were kind enough to accommodate us 50 minutes before closing. Staff were friendly and warm. The seating area felt like a lounge at grannies house… aahh, okay I get it now. Food was great, our order was out in less than 10 minutes… maybe because they were both veggie dishes. We got the 3 scoop ice cream for dessert. It was good.

We had the most amazing time at Granny Mouse this past weekend, celebrating our wedding anniversary. We were treated like royalty and the service received was incredible. From being showed to our room to the spa to the private dining in the wine cellar (covered with rose petals I might add) to the breakfast in the morning. Wow wow wow. I can highly recommend Granny Mouse Country House & Spa. Thank you to the wonderful staff who made our stay unforgettable.

Great food, great service, relaxing environment, great spa and accommodation available, swimming pool with stunning views and calm river running pass.

The only down side 1. Theres no mobile network conbevtivity 2. The food menu & restaurant 3. Staff do need a bit more training on customer care The place though is superb for cosy lovers retreat and a gem for wedding oh and the cute chapel is to die for.

Beautiful venue. Very confusing building for first timers, no signs to the restaurant or bar and the staff watched us bumble around from room to room, until we left. I'm sure the food is adequate.

Tried the 5-course meal in the Eve Restaurant but was disappointed with the flavours and combinations. Lovely setting with excellent service. Over stunning venue and perfect for a romantic breakaway…

Very friendly staff, really nice view. One improvement would be to have a list of places to visit in the neighborhood available, since that's difficult to discover by yourself.

It is VERY pretty! The staff are really welcoming. They advertise morning tea at the roadside, but sandwiches are not available until the kitchen opens. The place is not cheap.

Stayed in the nicest suites were lovely great views with a fireplace. Staff were all wonderful & friendly. Food was a bit of a let down.

The place is beautiful. It truly is a hidden gem. The staff were pleasant and attentive, the food was amazing and we had the best discussion about wine. I was advised on different selections of wine to try out, and advised to try out their wine tastings. I can't wait to go back there☆★☆

Sean and his staff at GrannyMouse were truly amazing. Veronica was incredibly patient and accommodating as we planned Nancy and Ryan's Wedding from San Diego, California. They made us feel like their only priority and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. The staff was so polite and helpful! As a Wedding Planner, I valued their positive attitudes and felt that I could trust every single person there to get the job done! The banquet room was perf…ectly cleaned prior to the Big Day and they put my mind at ease as we pulled together all of the final details! GrannyMouse is a magical place and allowed us to create the Fairy Tale Wedding that we had envisioned! I can not say enough wonderful things about this place and it's service providers and I hope that I find myself in South Africa again soon and have the honor of staying with them again! Honeymoon in 2006 and visited again twice after that. Absolutely stunning place. Piecefull scenery, lovely rooms, good food, wonderfull Spa and awesome staff. Actually on our way there again 16/12, can't wait!

The Staff where all very polite and welcoming. The room was spotless and well decorated. However the mattress sloped badly on one side. The quality and standard of the food was well below what I knew from past visits. My Lamb chops where very fatty, and appeared and tasted more boiled than fried/grilled. There was no seasoning or flavour to either mine or my Husbands food. There was meant to be a wine Jus, not sure where that was. My husband ordered chips with his meal and we heard someone complaining rather loudly in the kitchen about this order of chips. Then for breakfast, the cold meats were dry. But what was most disturbing was how the kitchen could have sent out a burnt (totally black /charred) flapjack. My pancakes when unrolled has burnt spots and you could taste the burnt. This will be the last time we visit G. M. Restaurant and I will definitely not be bringing my Family that are due to come out from the UK for a meal.

I had my first spa experience at the Granny Mouse Spa, an all day treatment, it was amazing, the service was excellent, in a tranquil environment right in the middle of the Midlands far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
