The George Hotel is utterly ghastly. The outer rooms have no aircon, no Wi-Fi, no Bed side lights and no fan. When you complain you get sworn at by the assistant manager, saying he is Gatvol and walks out to call the owner. How we would have loved to talk to the owner. The ceilings are full of mildew. The linen was stained and towels old. I will never return or recommend this place to any one. I’m feeling as a woman, intimidated, threatened and unsafe.

We had a bad eperience with the hotel we didnt get a good treatment from that hotel we were there on thursday 16/08/2018. I dont wish to go back there, they under estimate us. They should fix thier service or get a new stuff there, the rooms are dirty they do not represent what we see outside. Am very much dissapointed…

Awesome and friendly staff.

Extremely poor service at reception. The young lady didn't have a clue and she could not answer any of our questions.
The brewery had no local beer — so much for being on the craft beer route.
Our room was disgusting. Dirty carpets. Broken light fittings and in serious need of a coat of paint.
The beds were comfortable and the linen was clean but that didn't make up for all the other shortcomings.
Cannot recommend.

The bed was comfortable and the sheets crisp and clean, and that's 75% of where my importance for a hotel lies. The food was good too. Generally the staff aren't too bad, however the hotel needs some attention. Our shower was terrible, at best you got a miserable dribble of water, at worst it just ran out the spout and down the wall. The bar had a nice outlook, but they had no local beer, one of if not the only reasons we stayed over in Eshowe.

Some of our rooms didn't have hot water.

No water in the annex for 2 days and Sunday breakfast goodies not put out till after 10 a. M. Very friendly happy staff. Just needs a bit of TLC as far as the annex rooms, light bulbs and beds are concerned.

Very friendly staff but no hot water for entire 3 days of stay for all people in our passage and nobody seemed very worried about it at all.

I really enjoyed playing here, amazing crowd and the venue really looks after musicians.

Not bad for the price. Breakfast was good, hot water not so good?

Service was shocking, wrote a letter of complaint, but not even the decency of a reply. We had international visitors with us and they were appalled, left after the first night.

Nice place especially the dining area, the staff are fantastic.

I was so disappointed the service that we received was poor, we were embarrassed told that only one person was booked for nd it was for 2 people the room is not clean enough, I will not recommend to any one.

No storage Plugs not working Dirty linen.

Very cosy place, warm and well positioned. I love visiting eShowe so I may sleep here.

Wonderful. The quaint old lady of a venue never disappoints. Great fun at the Pablo Escobar. Amazing pizza!

I must say Iam very dissapointed in the service from the George hotel. My mom and I came there about a month looking at their new conference from and we left all our details so we could be told the different packages etc. I have not heard back from them since and I have called.

Friendly nd professional staff, I had a great stay.

Great place to stay in Eshowe — excellent craft beer!
