Fabulous views, lovely accommodation, beautiful situated in the Central Drakensburg, offers wedding venue, forest school, fishing and trails, affordable accommodation.

We had a beautiful stay at Berghaven Holiday Cottages in October 2021. Accomodation located in the most peaceful setting in mountainous, forest splendor. Highly recommended for a family getaway.

We stayed at Berghaven Cottages over the easter weekend. While the rest of Champagne Valley was super busy with visitors over the entire weekend, Berghaven was peaceful and quit throughout. That is the magic of Berghaven, it offers unmatched tranquility and relaxation, with epic mountain views, vibrant bird life next to the ponds and just excellent self catering facilities! Do yourself a favour and stay in cottages 5, 6, 7 or 8, you wont be dissappointed! Special thanks to Debbie & Kat, who were so helpful, friendly and accommodating during our stay! Hands down the best self catering option in the whole Champagne Valley! Highly recommended!
