We had a wonderful stay at Ardmore Guest Farm and would definitely recommend staying here! It's a beautiful location and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed as part of our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond to organise a romantic evening for us. :) There are lots of activities available on the farm and nearby and the food was fantastic, too.

Definitely will recommend this to others. Very hospitable.

It's an absolutely beautiful place. With comfortable, neat and superclean accomodation. Being pet friendly was such a blessing as we had peace of mind. There are excellent facilities to keep you busy and the staff are so friendly.

It’s was a complete disaster. Rooms were dirty, outdated, and definitely not worth a fraction of the price. The chalet needed serious maintenance. Shower pressure so long to the point that u might as well forget about being clean. The service was absolutely terrible. The only good thing I can say is that the food was good. We booked for 3 nights, we stayed one night and left. We drove 5 hours to get to this place all for nothing. Waste of time and money.

From the warm and informative welcome, to the charming spacious cottages, surrounded by stunning views. From the copious, delicious & varied home-made food, to the birdlife just outside the window. The walks, the animals, the swimming pools for the hot days. EVERYTHING is perfect.

Had an incredible relaxing time on the beautiful and peaceful Ardmore Guest Farm. The staff and owners are welcoming and friendly and the food was incredible — prepared with much thought and passion. The only regrets I have were that my time was so short and that I can't eat more than my stomach allowed. The area has much to offer and I suggest staying at Ardmore Guest Farm. I look forward to my visit next year.

Amazing hospitality, pet friendly, self catering units are absolutely amazing, breakfast was so delicious, peaceful surroundings with magnificent views. Owners Sue and Paul and their amazing team went out of their way to make our stay memorable thank you 😊 😍⚘⚘⚘

This place is advertising pictures of mountains and clean rooms and when you get there everything is broken and no mountain view like on there website. And its dirty. Its fake advertising.
There are broken lamps, the housekeepers are not sanitising!
and they ask you for money after they clean.
the management staff are rude and unfreindly
birds made nests all around the accommodation with lice running down the walls.
the staff stand over you in the dining room and dont wear masks and spray there spit all over you when they talk due to no masks.
the doors dont close at all due to being broken in the rooms.
Rooms are tiny and nothing like what it looks like on there website.

This place is Extremely run down and not worth the huge prices they charge. And dont dare say anything to there management staff or you will be treated so badly by them for sayong something about the broken stuff they expect you to use. And pay high rates for.

Disappointed at the high rates they charge for the really uncomfortable beds and broken fans in some of the rooms. Also lots of flies but no way to make them go away. Over priced and not good value for money.

What a little KZN gem and a top option if you're holidaying with a hound or want to experience a 'home away from home' vibe:
The staff are efficient and incredibly accommodating. The chalets are neat and very comfortable.
And the best perk is not having to worry about cooking during your stay as the kitchen produces some really delicious meals — the perfectly cooked steaks come highly recommended.

Just loved our stay, beautiful, peaceful guest farm, very spacious and comfortable rooms, food was delicious and all the staff can’t do enough for you, also loved seeing all the dogs, chickens, goats, sheep etc, stayed for 3 nights, wish it could have been longer!

Went with my family for lunch and to see the pottery, which unfortunately is no longer being made there anymore which is a bit disappointing. There is a muesium, the staff is friendly but the food is not that good. We also had one of their dogs join us for lunch and when the staff tried to remove it, it snapped at her. I have a toddler so this experience was not pleasant at all.

It is a farm but they are dedicated to the wood, they also have some goat and some sheep in the complex.
We were 4y we had booked two bungalows, we were given the option to switch to a house for all and a enjoyed with fireplace in the living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms (house one with your jacuzzi) without changing the cost.
For dinner they have a menu at a very affordable and very good price.
The breakfast is also very good, they make you at the moment what you choose from your letter.

The only bad thing is the cold it does for all the facilities on the date we have been and the Wi-Fi didn't reach us to the house.

Looked good from outside but signage of coffee shop not visible so drove away without stopping.

Great staff, very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating people, you tell them what you would like to do and they make it happen. They are very pet friendly and can recommend other great pet friendly places to visit while you are there. We wanted to braai one evening and they organized a braai stand and cutlery for us. They also have wood and fire lighters available. They suggested a great route to a stunning view for our hiking. Breakfast is delicious.

The place is nestled below the mountains but very easy to find. Nice place to recharge outside of the city. There's lots of extramural activities on site and very child friendly environment.

Didn't actually stay but visited. Quaint little place off the beaten track. Fascinating watching the ladies weaving. Restaurant looked lovely and super views.

Catered for very well, service was professional. Rooms where in good condition and every need was taken care of to ensure a relaxing and good time had by all in tour group.

Very nice place to be. Friendly staff and nice bedrooms, with each an own fireplace and free wood to light a fire with. The Ardmore Guest Farm gives you a great country feeling. There 's just a good vibe hanging there, with an "honesty bar" and a beautiful Tea Garden with a spectacular view. We stayed two nights, but it's just one of those places you would rather stay a couples of day more.

As a farm it or is a decent place lots of facilities for kids (pooltable, swimming pool, table tennis, games, ) I appreciate a good hotel, this farm is not for me. The cottage was too cold, the fireplace doenst change much about that, and it could do with new furniture, for the size of the cottage is great but it's just not cozy. Breakfast and dinner on the site are ok. Staff very friendly and helpful.

A peaceful environment, away from the buzz of the city. Friendly staff and a great getaway for small groups. To keep you occupied, there are two swimming pools, volleyball area, trampoline, table tennis etc. Otherwise, just chill with a cold beer and watch the horses grazing outside your lodge. A nice farm environment.

Brilliant stay here in a garden facing unit. Wonderful home cooked food. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel very welcome. And pet friendly.

Excellent place to relax. Very neat and well maintained. The welcome and owners are very friendly. Was impressed we didnt ask for a infant cot or feeding chair but we had it on our arrival. Keep up the good work guys.

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful and nature at every corner with loads of activities in the area. The staff made us feel so at home and Lynette, Willie and Esmé really went the extra distance for us. Such a pleasure!
