I've been here before. The service is of the utmost best. Friendly staff and exotic meal everyday. Not forgetting the rooms Keep the good WORK.

Comfortable rooms and convenient airport shuttle. Food and service in the restaurant was very good.

Have stayed here for 3 times for my business visit, the only drawback was limited food menu items in alacart menu … buffet breakfast and dinner are great but they don't offer buffet dinner everyday… Overall good Value for money hotel …

We had a conference here. The staff were excellent. Warm and attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

While I liked the staff I found the conference rooms rather very small. Location is good close to airport and Eastrand mall.

Great property with excellent rooms. Property location is ideal located 15 mins away from O R Tambo international airport. There are a lot of eateries and shopping outlets opposite the hotel. Free direct shuttle to airport and east Rand mall. Front desk were excellent and outstanding.

Stayed for 5 nights. Location is very close to the airport. Planes can get really loud when you are outside, if you are a very light sleeper you might have problems. Rooms are well equipped and tidy, just as well as the lobby and everything else. Everything is well maintened. The gym and pool are very clean and well equipped. Breakfast really was outstanding with a omelette station and all sorts of extras (waffles, scones, porridge, …). I ate there for 5 days and food is very good (tho, the burger did not impress me much). Booked a Soweto tour via a service desk in the hotel and it was superb. Staff is exceptionally correct, attentive and friendly. I can recommend Holiday Inn Johannesburg O R Tambo Airport.

Had the most amazing time here. Staff are well trained and super friendly. Very modern, clean and elegant. Food is incredible too. Highly recommend this place for Christmas lunch if you don't want to cook. We will be returning.

Quite a popular hotel. Great service. Conveniently close to necessary amenities. Beautiful furnishings in rooms! The fact that it's closer to the OR Tambo International Airport is a major plus! My friends and I totally enjoyed ourselves at their quaint bar area.

Rooms are bit small and the floor wasnt so clean, but the breakfast was amazing. Good place to stay for a night between flights.

Rooms look really nice! Great size tv! The staff was friendly! And the outside area is very pleasant, depending on how you feel with planes passing by! You cant hear the planes when you in the room which means you will have a great nights rest! It is also less than 10 min away from OR Tambo airport, so nicely situated if you need to travel. Also very closely situated to shopping centre.

The room was quite nice. The property feels safe. It's not super close to the airport but there's a free airport shuttle service. You do have the landing planes coming directly overhead, although I never really years them loudly from my actual room. There was some ugly construction going on at the time I was there so it's hard to say what the hotel in general may look like otherwise. The overall value was good.

We go there about 8 times per year and we enjoy it. Their dinners are amazing and the chef who makes the omelets are so friendly and upbeat…

Very good value for money and great location close to Johannesburg Airport.

I thought it would be noisy because of its proximity to the effort. Once you're in, there is heavy duty sound proofing; you won't hear anything from outside. Staff is pretty friendly, they all deserve a raise.

We have over the years used many b&b's and hotels when travelling through johannesburg and none have ever met our expectations. Until now, the holiday Inn is secure, comfortable and clean. The staff are professional, helpful and friendly, the food is excellent and they have a regular shuttle to and from the airport.

Good service and decent choice on breakfast.

The room was acceptable and check in was pretty quick and easy. The food for dinner was pretty good and the free breakfast had a lot of choices both hot and cold. The only problem we had was after arranging a late checkout we went to breakfast only to come back to our room and find housekeeping had taken all the linens from the bed and taken all the towels. 3 phone calls and a walk to the front desk as well as over an hour later they finally brought more and the lady had an attitude about having to come back. This made for a disappointing morning before heading to the airport. They do offer a free shuttle to drop you off at the airport.
