Beautiful place to stay, luxurious, private with all the comforts of home. Thank you Grayham, Anita and Bianca for your kind hospitality.

No so good. They have pets, cats in the dinning area even when having dinner. The hot breakfast takes way too long, around 30 minutes. You also have to order dinner before 18:00 afternoon so you have to plan accordingly. They also charged me what was supposed to be complementary snacks, just be careful what you eat.

Absolutely beatiful! Decor is warm and inviting. Stayed for 1 night only on a 4 night work trip due to a booking mishap between the agent and the hotel. Gray was very apologetic and made the stay very pleasant by offering a room with Netflix.

I visited Johannesburg in Sep 2017, and stayed at the Oasis Boutique Hotel. The accommodations and ground are very nice, clean and relaxing. The garden is amazing, and it was an absolute pleasure to just relax and take in the scents and calming sounds. The owners and staff were extremely helpful, kind and accommodating. A great place for business travelers.

I went to Microsoft Johannesburg for official purpose. I staied in this hotel for couple of days. Awesome Experience. Let me start from room — I have seen great hotel rooms across globe but this one was amazing and best. Food choice, quality and quantity is great. Specifically owner of this hotel, she is always there to help you. You will feel like home. Truly Home. If I visit south Africa again I will stay here.

I found my new place to stay. Oh so cozy. Homely, and so elegant. I loved the bed. It was awesome.

Liked their hospitality, feels like a home away from home, they care for your comfort while you are with them! All in all a very good hotel. This is my second visit.

I have had the pleasure of staying at Oasis on a number of occasions. The name befits the establishment. An oasis of serenity in the middle of the madness that is Johannesburg. Beautiful garden, fantastic outdoor area, brilliant attention to detail with even the smallest thing in the rooms, home food based dinner menu, fully stocked bar, amazing wine selection and great hosts. I won't stay anywhere else.

It's a little piece of heaven, with a beautiful landscape, has a feeling of nature outside, with beautiful indoors full of antiques. The rooms and are great. Loved it.

This is not hotel, this is real little Oasis!. Peaceful, easy, full of antiques, cosy and with helpful people. Breakfast and food is excellent. If you are around and want to spend fabulous days and/or nights, do not hesitate, just go and you will see the real comfort. It is real worth to every cent you pay. The owners are really owning the place, which you can easily feel it. I strongly suggest this hotel to everyone.

This establishment is the real deal. The hands on approach from the owners, guarantees one peace of mind and ensures that any small requirement that one needs is attended to immediately, with absolute professionalism. The hosts are extremely polite and do not hesitate to interact with their clientele with respect and attentiveness. On my arrival I was offered a welcoming drink of my choice and singed in speedily and shown around the establishment and advised on how things work. The whole premises is in immaculate condition (inside and outside). The bedroom and bathrooms are an absolute pleasure to stay in and bath in. It has everything and more! The whole house has collectors items / antiques all over and keeps one surprised, to discover another gem, one after the other. The breakfast area is sumptuous and has all kinds of coffee making items. The food is first class and the menu is varied, catering for all tastes. The wine list is extensive. The overall ambiance is stunning. The back ground music in the eating hall is stunning and not overbearing. I could have sat there for hours. The garden is fantastic, lawns mowed, shrubbery in pristine condition, pool is spotless. Massive shady trees all over the place. The water feature outside allows one to sit outside and your mind just floats away. Such peace and quite. I really cannot say enough about this establishment.

I have no complaints! This is a perfect little get away in the middle of an urban area. Ample trees filled with singing birds by the pool side is exactly what you need to wind down. Their service is amazing with friendly staff. Their security adds to your piece of mind. Its home away from home :)

Wow! I was so impressed! This establishment is Jhb's gem with elegance and style abound — absolutely beautiful room, exquisite bathroom, a boutique hotel par excellence.

Excellent value, delightful house, amazing food, friendly staff = highly recommended I didn't find taxis expensive which another reviewer wrote. The price difference here compared to downtown hotels covers the taxis anyway in my opinion. I was here for work and it was a refreshing change from staying in another corporate hotel chain.

Pros: tranquil setting, charming facilities (large rooms full of antiques), great cost-benefit, amenities either included (delicious breakfast) or reasonably priced (mini fridge same price as grocery store). Cons: bathroom lighting almost nonexistent, located far from downtown (and taxis are expensive), room lacked natural lighting (moved us from a room with a veranda to a basement room with a dim window). Nits: transfer service from airport needs a new car, lengthy check-in process.

This place is Johannesburg's secret! Persian carpets, original oil paintings, Egyptian cotton bedding, antique furniture — all this luxury at 3-star prices. Add to this mixture the friendly and warm hospitality of Grayham and Anita and it's no wonder why The Oasis is always full. It's more like a beautique hotel than an B&B and highly recommended to anyone who is staying in Johannesburg — you will not be dissapointed. As proof, ask any resident and you will probably find that they are regulars.
