We had an amazing afternoon this past Sunday. The picnic setup was intimate and very inviting. The food and service was lovely and despite the rain the picnic still continued as planned, we were relocated into the restaurant with minimal interruptions. I look forward to doing it again in spring. My friends and I throughly enjoyed ourselves. I am totally 100% in love with their sour dough bread, hummus and burnt butter.

What an amazing afternoon! World class service in a beautiful setting. Wonderful food and very relaxing atmosphere. Cannot recommend this highly enough, will definitely be going back to this hidden gem in the heart of Johannesburg. We spent a wonderful evening at the Wine house restaurant, the 5 course tasting menu was fun& exciting. The food was top notch with inspired flavour combinations. Overall a great experience, friendly warm service in a relaxed atmosphere.

Where to begin? The 9 course dinner was absolutely remarkable. From course to course, it just got better and better and it's difficult to recall which was my favourite. Knowledge waiting staff, comfortable setting, incredible food : a recipe for success. I'm glad we chose to dine here and cannot wait for the next treat.

Our hostess on the day of the jazz lunch had an "undermining " tone whilst addressing us. She mentioned the price of the lunch 3 times before allocating us a table. Anyway… The food was fantastic, fresh and creative. The wine cellar is something out of a dream. The etiquette and service was refreshing and despite the hostess, I was very happy with this experience!

Exceptional food and service.

Considering this hotel is supposed to be a design hotel it's quite underwhelming. It's a beautiful location hidden in the tress with lots of greenery however the room facilities are quite outdated and the suites are not exactly spacious. Nevertheless I spent my anniversary here and it was fit for one night. The rooms do have some good features such as private gardens or balconys, steam showers and fire place. Would recommend a romantic evening here. We also tested the restaurant out and it was very nice. You can do a 4 course meal with wine pairing. The service is great and the food is interesting.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent Hotel! I stayed here twice during a trip to South Africa when I got married… first before, and then after… both times I stayed, the service was impeccable! The staff was super courteous! From the receptionist, to the house keepers, to the guard at the front of the hotel, everyone was very welcoming and helpful! Upon arrival, we were offered help with our bags, escorted to our rooms, and greeted with a smile… rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable! Views were beautiful, and the experience was AMAZING! A HUGE Thank you to the entire staff at the hotel for making us feel so welcome and for treating us so well during our stay!

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a Cuppa for Cansa fundraiser which was hosted at and by Ten Bompas Hotel. I had not been there in years and was hoping that the experience would be as wonderful as I remembered it. My expectations were surpassed. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the friendly car guard and welcomed by at the entrance. Our waiter was simply superb. Not only does Abby have a great sense of humour but his intelligent wittiness was such a breath of fresh air. The food was absolutely delicious and they could not do enough for us. Well done to the management for keeping your staff happy and motivated and for once again providing a memorable lunch.
