Very Good hotel at the proposed budget. Good lobby space. Rooms are very good. Only problem is it's very lousy no event happens. It's a corporate type hotel.

Hotel is very colonial in design which is quite warming. The service and facilities are good. Location is excellent for its easy access to main roads, highways and shopping centres. The property is excellent for venue purposes such as weddings and has ample parking to accomodate same.

Really not great. The 2nd floors carpets in the passage really stank of mildew — which wasn't great for me with allergies. Then the inconsistencies with the accounts department/reception. To long to explain but they really make it difficult for a visiting business to go there. The left hand really didn't know what was happening with the right.

Good hotel but the gym doesn't respect its hours.

Not recommended at all for people who like privacy. The bath room is open and part of bedroom it self. Only one curtain separates bed from shower. Toilet also, cannot be locked although it has a plastic/glass door. I personally prefer showers with privacy, even if I am alone. Hotel menu is minimal, but acceptable. All staff is proud of their milk shakes, you will hear it sooooo much coz apparently, hotel has nothing else to offer much.

The room I stayed in needed minor maintenance but other than that great food, and awesome music selection playing in restaurant/bar!

I have traveled my entire life. From five star hotels in Paris to luxury hotels in LA. I have never had an experience compare to my stay at Protea Fire and Ice at Melrose Arch. Great service starts with great people and Protea Fire and Ice is no exception, but the star example. From waking up in the morning, the moment you walk down the hallway everyone greets you with warm, sincere smiles, there is no better way to start your day. The staff at the restaurant remembers your name from the very first day, there to help you with anything you may need. Honestly, I have never seen such dedicated and thoughtful hard workers with hearts so big! I felt I was welcomed in by a family, not just a hotel. You cannot buy service like this. And that is not even mentioning how delicious the food is or the overflowing brunch buffet with fresh fruits, pancakes, bacon, and eggs freshly prepared anyway you can imagine! The housekeeping was immaculate and even remembered I had called for a face cloth the first night and left extra face cloths every time. It's the little things that make such a big difference, especially while being so far away from home. Everyday entering the lobby, greeted by smiles and warm hellos. From checking in to checking out, the only thing I would change for next time would be to increase the length of my stay!

This hotel has the best hospitality and would like to visit again.
