We enjoyed our stay. Excellent service and the restaurant food was very nice on a cold and windy night.

I was there today wish I could spend more days chalets are clean and warm suitable for big family.

Comfortable, spacious and peaceful accommodation in the 3 rooms at the top. Friendly helpfull staff. Food in the restaurant is basic but freshly prepared and very tasty. Excellent stop over midway between Johannesburg and Durban.

Great place to stay overnight! Halfway between Jozi and Durbs.

Just what you need from an overnight stop. Nice shower, good food and a comfortable bed. I like the fact that the units are so far apart to prevent the sound from neighboring rooms bothering you. No TV, but lets be honest how often do you really enjoy those grainy pictures in places like this in the age of carrying your own screens. Don't try and let four adults sleep in one chalet unless you are really comfortable with each other, it is more suited for a family of four. Restaurant only open in the evenings between 18:00 and 20:00, so don't arrive too late if you are planning to eat there.

Real Value for money. R250/p/n where do you get accommodation that cheap. Perfect for overnight. Breakfast is excellent with freshly screezed orange juice and fresh filter coffee and bacon, eggs, jams and toast or an omlette. Bathrooms are rather small as you need to bend sometimes. But overall my stay there was very pleasant. I will be back.

It is beautiful. The rooms a very neat and tidy and the decor is stunning. The restaurant has delicious food. Stunning!

What a beautiful place! Super clean and neat! Houses are shaped in a pyramid form, triagle bath and triangle light so the theme is definitely there. There is a kettle, mugs, coffe and tea available in the room. The bathroom also has soap, shampoo and towels. The restaurant has amazing food. Might sound strange but they literally have the best chips with each meal! You have an amazing view of the mountains. They call it The valley of a thousand hills. You can also have a braai there. I enjoyed my stay. (There is not a TV in the room, but you can walk to reception and watch TV there)

Great stopover between Natal and Johannesburg. On the Van Reenend pass and you have great selection of accommodation for a family or slightly more expensive in the hotel rooms. Food is reasonable. Recommend for a pit stop.

Food in the restaurant is well prepared and fresh. Cabins are basic but cozy. Located close to the N3 so the sound of passing trucks is omnipresent.

Amazing place with friendly staff. Rooms are beautiful and affordable with a stunning view of the mountains. The reason im giving this place one star is because one person ruin this whole experience. The skinny guy with glasses kept having problems with us. We walked around on the grounds to explore a bit, not bothering no one then he told us that walking drunk is not allowed and we should stay in our rooms. We weren't drunk at all. Later we went to the bar and we over heard him telling one of the ladies that he can't stand this people meaning us. We will stay here again. We did nothing to deserve this treatment.

Decent experience. Linen and decor needs a revamp as its dated and old. Linen needs to be washed more.

Very good motel so sleep over from around Durban to around Johannesburg. Neat and clean and good food in the restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. The rooms have this pyramid form which is fun and nice to live in.

It's clean and service is good. The building needs some repairs and the bathtub need replacing. Overall not a bad stay.

Good value for money, food and staff are great. Although the rooms were clean (appreciated), they can be described as "uncomfortable"… You'll twist and turn into some awkward positions specifically in the bathroom because of the roof shape.

A good place if you tired on a drive between Johannesburg and Durban — on Van Reneen's Pass. Some awesome views.

Good place for a quick sleep over. Spectacular views if the fog allows. They also serve a great breakfast.

This was a lovely little stop-over, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We had electric blankets, instant coffee and tea available and wonderful staff. Will definitely be using them again I the future.

Though the room needed some attention in terms of cleanliness, it is suitable for a quick overnight stay on the way to a final destination.

Perfect stay over between JHB & Durban :) )
