Beautiful rooms, excellent service and the food is brilliant.

Friendly staff who went the extra mile when we wanted sparkling water… beautiful clean room. Breakfast was very tastefull with a lot of choices.

The hotel is clean and up market, as for the staff they so amazing, I'm definitely coming back soon.

Worst Experience ever at any accommodation we have stayed at! Poor poor service, takes 4 hours to get a meal at the restaurant and that is not an exaggeration. Hard beds in rooms, untrained staff! Don’t recommend this place at all!

Nice place. I had a wonderful stay and the experience. There only problems is the TV which is too high and picture quality is bad.

Love the easy location of this property… however choose your room wisely… noise can be a factor from the streets. Fantastic staff… always smiling.

Really great small boutique hotel. Instant feel is "Bali away from Bali" friendly staff and very comfortable room (bed was extremely comfortable whereas in other hotel establishments they are hard and difficult to sleep in). It was only an overnighter from Kimberley but by far better experience than the Kimberley Marriott Hotel.

Very good place. The breakfast buffet is so good. The shared rooms' wardrobes are too small for two people to put their clothes in especially for peoplw who shared for 2weeks like me & my colleague. Otherwise everything was great, friendly staff, quiet location.

Nice venue. 24 hr reception and access. Right in the heart of town. Boutique hotel, not b&b. The staff is very helpful, went out of their way when one of our colleagues fell ill. I would suggest that the leave room unoccupied until all the other rooms are booked, as it's right next to the kitchen, so get woken early. Also, the pillows are really high. On my king size bed all 4 pillows were hollow fibre and exactly the same thickness. I suggest they rather put 2 flat pillows (consider feather) and 2 foam/ hollow fibre… So that the guests have options. Lovely breakfast with even omelettes as an option. And yummy mini crossaints.

Found the overall experience to be good. The rooms were comfortable (excluding along side the main road-very very noisy) wait staff in the restaurant seems a little irritated, would've been great to have even a small splash pool, especially in the summer. Other than that, good job!

Keep up the work you are doing, especially with regards to staff the service its on another level, hotel is nice, clean and quite, breakfast is delicious and I was also happy to see that you also have Banting food, keep it up Villa Bali is the place to be,

A clean and comfortable stop over. Some minor issues like a TV that didn't work properly and some odd interpretations of their own menu.

The breakfast was good. Unfortunately the hotel did not feel clean and if your looking for a quiet restfull place, dont visit Villa Bali.

Pleasant B&B, with friendly staff and a good basic breakfast. Rooms are well appointed with clean linen, a little fridge and tea and coffee facilities. However reception carpet needs to be constantly cleaned because of high traffic and the reception door handle needs attention. Otherwise we had a most pleasant stay.

Mild to disappointing. Service not up to standard. Lack of correct cutlery on tables. No salt on tables, only pepper. Breakfast in very small quantities. Dinner took 90 minutes to prepare. Left without eating. Rooms are comfortable but noisy.

What an amazing place a jewel of the orient in the middle of bloemfontein the staff were totally amazing nothing was too much trouble and soo tentative give them all 20 out of 10 would defo book again when in the area food was lush Thai chicken curry and lamb chops spot on.

Right next to a nice Mimosa mall, less than 5 minutes drive to waterfront and stadium. Property in safe location.

The staff were so welcoming when we arrived which already made us happy with our choice. The rooms where clean and comfortable and we slept like babies in the huge comfortable king bed. We ordered steak and chops from room service and it was delicious delicious delicious! We would definitely recommend this to anyone… Once again a thanks to the friendly staff at check in and check out its good to know there are people/businesses who still care about their customers!

This Hotel has to do something about their services in the restaurant. Breakfast just OK. A lot of bad cracks in building. Needs upgrading.

Nice hotel, could have a little better bar area.

I have often wondered what the term Boutique Hotel actually means so I turned to Wikipedia to get a definition. “Boutique hotel is a term used initially in North America and the United Kingdom to describe small hotels which have typically between 10 and 100 rooms in unique settings with upscale accommodations. ” (Wikipedia) While travelling around South Africa, I often get to stay in a variety of accommodation of differing ratings and offerings. Travelling back from the Eastern Cape on a recent research trip, we had been booked into the Villa Bali Boutique Hotel in Bloemfontein. We were booked into an “Executive King Room”, so I was very interested to see what was being offered. This establishment has a four star rating. The establishment also offers free Wi-Fi. Upon arrival, it wasn’t immediately apparent where the hotel was, but a phone call to the hotel and they described how to get there very efficiently. Interestingly they also asked the name that the room was booked under, which at first I thought was odd, but later realized, they went into the room and switched on the aircon/heating to get rid of the winter chill. The parking is at the front of the hotel and is a paved parking area behind a palisade fence. The entrance and exit are electric gates. There is a good amount of parking. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient.

After having stayed at a number of facilities and some expensive ones, this place was as close to heaven as you will get in Bloem. Excellent value for money. A proper room with separate bathroom facilities, unlike the more expensive Protea with their shower next to the bed. Breakfast was reasonable and this is now my "place of choice" when staying in Bloemfontein.
