Friendly staff in the dinning hall, nice room.

Terrible hotel. Unfriendly staff, loud guests partying and drinking next door to your room. Messy outside with beer bottles everywhere, rubbish everywhere. Its a party venue, not a hotel. No respect for paying guests at all. Im in East London often for work and this place came recommended, will definitely never stay there again and would definitely not recommend. Rather stay at the Premier.

Staff on reception are just there as its a job, no passion, you would think they would be over the moon to be at work with what's possibly comming. Loud group obviously drunk in the bar made it impossible to have a conversation, as such as a resident with two clients visiting they lost out on the meal for three as we went elsewhere to eat. Sadly as a frequent traveler I will. Bypass this place next trip and stay elsewhere.

Their Rooms are not well cleaned their Towels are old and dirty their TV Channels are not Playing well the staff got bad Attitude.

My rooms roof leaked, I slipped and fell and they offered to call a state ambulance or 2 panados. They simply have no customer care.

Really enjoyed this visit. They have lovely helpful staff and the rooms were in 5 star condition. The views of the Lagoon were awesome. I will definitely stay there as my first choice if I am in the area again.

Was most disappointing. Service was good but food not. Milkshakes were terrible. Very gritty. Was there over Christmas and it was divine. Went back with my family to for my 60th birthday but very dissapointed.

Decent accommodation for a decent price. Close to everything via transport. Ideal for a weekend if you want to relax with lovely sunsets.

Nice hotel in a secluded and quiet part of town. The private beach is an added bonus. Would visit this place anytime. When I got there; the initial room allocated to me had 2 showers and I asked for one that had a bath tub and it was arranged in an instant. The restaurant staff is very friendly and the menu changes daily with a wide range of food to choose from.

Amazing! Secure parking, and you'll have an breathtaking view of the ocean from almost every room, access to the beach, as well as a great swimming pool. The food is divine as well, with fantastic room service.

One word for Blue Lagoon Hotel is everything is super perfect the food is sooo delicious and so affordable couldn't believe I eat so much with such price unplanned lunch.

Room was lovely and the hotel is well positioned for business or holiday trips. Pity about the restaurant staff who definitely need more training, from knowing their menu to understanding they are selling more than food but an experience. In 3 nights I was greeted only once and not seated at all. And on the night I was greeted while welcoming me the waitress was interrupted by a colleague by him "jokingly" grabbing at her neck. Not a great impression. Fish and chops overcooked, hot dessert served ice cold and ice cream served on a hot plate. Management in the evening was scarce and when the one waitress tried to change a hot plate with ice cream on it, the kitchen staff ignored her. Wi-Fi good in main hotel area, intermittent at best in rooms. A little training in service and attention to customers could take this from average to great.

Visited the Highlander for a meeting… Awesome place, look and feel is sophisticated and classy. Definitely need to have more visits there.

I've just had the most amazing support from the maintenance staff and security staff at the Blue Lagoon Hotel. We had finished walking our dogs on the beach and came back to the car park to find that two of my car tyres had been deflated due to malicious damage to property. The maintenance staff arrived with a compressor and proceeded to sort the problem out for me. I did not even have to ask for assistance! Thank you, thank you! Brilliant service and a job well done. The security had taken down the bakkie registration number — excellent work. A huge thank you to everyone at the blue lagoon hotel.

Stayed here a few times and always a good experience. The breakfast are great and the restaurant makes a great supper. The rooms are clean and neat. A nice pub on premise.

Stunning setting to appreciate a beautiful sun set and lagoon views. Walkways to the beach through local brush creates an adventurous atmosphere for kids and adults alike. Food is good and a pub is available where the local Dassie community visits every now and then to watch the visitors. Friendly staff and excellent rooms with free Wi-Fi fi.
