Guadalcanal Hotels with a Pool

A month long business trip anywhere can sometimes feel like forever. But staying at the ‘HP’ always makes it a lot easier.

We loved this hotel, beautiful and comfortable, staff was cordial and so friendly — we felt very welcomed at all times. Food and cocktails were delicious, great variety too.

Once again, thank you so much for a fantastic stay at the resort. The resort was immaculate. The food and service was first class.

Not sure about the rooms, had lunch, drink and used the swimming pool. Very nice place to stay at for an afternoon and chill. Good food (steak) and drinks.

The hotel is good but needs renovation (they are actually doing some work until end of 2026 next door). Rooms are clean and with balcony. Not cheap but Solomons isn't a cheap country.

Japanese restaurant needs to practice food safe handling, use cooking gloves when you slice fruits or fresh food.

Recently I stayed at the Honiara hotel whilst attending a business conference and it was a comfortable & enjoyable experience.

It's a little difficult to rate my stay here. I stayed two nights, the first one in room 821 was great. No problems. My second night in room 827 was fraught with problems.

Reminded me of the sort of hotel that you would read about in a Somerset Maugham or James Michener short story. The rooms are clean, the food is nice, the beer is cold, the hotel is centrally located.

If you're looking for a place that blends island charm with business-ready convenience, King Solomon Hotel in Honiara is a standout choice.

I didn't check in the hotel but was at their upstairs bar.
Beautiful view, clean and has a nice vibe. Live music sometimes playing.
Great spot to chill after a long day of work.

Staff are fantastic & friendly.
Menu is set with limited options and quite a few items 86d, could use a menu revamp to bring some more choices and keep competitive with other places in Honiara.

Had a wonderful stay with Kate and Ben at Bilikiki Hideaway. Their place is a peaceful retreat from the city and a nice getaway.

What a wonderful couple are Katie & Brad. They greeted us from the time we arrived and made us feel at home straight away.
