Great choice of beer and cider. Nice atmosphere.

Discovered during a road trip in March 2019, we were seduced by the very nice welcome and the excellent beers.
The Soca valley and Julian Alps are magnificent.

The ales are sensational. I adore the Idaho 7 Hop. I brew beer myself as a hobby and ensure I root out the ale bars wherever I go. This is right up there. The Brewer is very talented. Great beer, Great location, Great place. What's not to like!

Great local craft beer. Try the unfiltered one: finding such full and rich taste is so rare. Do not leave Bovec without trying those beers!

LOVE this craft beer place. Me and my family frequented most nights. Great atmosphere and interior, friendly staff. The owner Anna is a gem, very knowledgeable and friendly. They offer x2 tasting trays, I highly recommend pairing with the meat and cheese plater.

I believe that beer brings people together and inspires camaraderie and the Thirsty River bar just do that.

Even though I am not a beer lover, this beer is very good. They also offer cider and I just fell in love with it. The taste was very nice and we are returning customers. The owners are really nice. They have their own story and they make your stay in Bovec into a fun andventure! Good job! :-)

Great craft brews at even greater prices. The upstairs is a tidy hostel with bunk room as well as private rooms. Fair prices, and Ana is exceptionally friendly and helpful! Thanks for the great hospitality! :-)

Great location; hosts Anna & Chad were enthusiastic & helpful. Beer was delicious — he's a brewer from the USA & making his home as one of the best Slovenian craft beer lications.

The best brewery in town! Hand crafted beers made/crafted by someone who knows what they are doing! Don't waste your time on any other beer, you will regret it. Friendly staff, great location, perfect price with a authentic micro brew atmosphere.
