Very high level of service with focus on authentic cooking, locally sourced food and gastronomical experience. A rare sight in a region where nature is wonderful but service infrastructure could be better. It's a small place so highly recommended to call first for table reservations/availability. They offer accommodation too, a great base for daytrips to the 3 surrounding national parks.
➜ Telgart is always worth a holiday. Highly recommended is the Penzion U Hanky, where family and service are still really big.

Strávili sme tu štyri úžasné dni a budeme si ich navždy pamätať. Je to vzor ako by mal fungovať a vyzerať rodinný podnik, za celú rodinu máme iba superlatívy. Boli sme 2dospelí a 2deti, pričom izba ktorú sme mali bola priestranná, s dostatkom odkladacích priestorov, kúpeľňa s poličkami kde sme si mali kam konečne odložiť všetky kúpeľňove veci a sprcha s horúcou vodou, ktorá príjemne padla po celodenných výletoch. Strava je samostaná kapitola, zvolili sme pol polpenziu a ak by sa varilo cez obed tak snáď aj prerušíme výlety aby sme si vychutnali úžasné jedlá. Na druhej strane, vždy sme sa tešili na večeru, čo nás bude čakať, takže vlasne to bolo celé super :) … to čo funguje a prečo ľudia tak pozítívne hodnotia jedlo je najmä kvôli tomu, že je v ponuke jedno predjedlo, jedna polievka, tri druhy hlavného jedla podľa výberu (netreba hlásiť vopred, stačí pri večeri) a jeden dezert. Ako sa hovorí, niekedy je menej viac a tu to platí na 100%. Je to čo je, a to čo je je topka. Samozrejme, ak máte diétu alebo intoleranciu, vedia spraviť jedlo tak, aby ste boli spokojní a mohli sa dosýtosti najesť. Celkovo je toto vzor a pre mňa veľká škola toho, že na to aby veci fungovali nemusíte mať zákonite šťastie, ani to najlepšie miesto, ani nič extra čo nemajú ostatní, podstatné je to, či to čo robíte, robíte poriadne, so záujmom a bez skratiek zjednodušovaní, proste si to odrobiť.
