The hotel charged me 30€ when the old wooden spoon used to throw water on the sauna stowe dropped on the floor and got broken. I reported this accident to the reception and it took three days for hotel to deside that this accident was a deliberate act in making a damage and the hotel owner, I was told, desided to punish me.
Other wise the Saffron Hotel is quite dull and suitable for customers not expecting barely basic level of customer service and ability to listen their clients, their needs and wishes.
Three stars basically for the nice lobby bar staff.

The service was very good and the staff was friendly. I had just one small problem — I could not set up the air-conditioner properly. But everything else was perfect.

Neat room. Friendly staff. Great breakfasts. Though electricity sockets are not easily accessible in the room for phone/laptop charging by the bed.

Nice clean venue with good furniture and equipment for our business requirements. The staff were friendly and attentive and let us have the key to our conference venue, but it took ages to pay the bill as there was a mix up on the computer system. The lift broke and hadn't been fixed a day later which meant a nice walk up and down 4 flights of stairs including carrying luggage. Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would have been good too.

Very good value for the money. Located near city center, good connection with public transport. Clean and nice rooms. Very good breakfast. Internet connection is fine.

Very nice hotel with nice staff. The only problem is that the internet is not so good as it is expected.

Strangely nice looking hotel hidden behind a bunch of run down buildings. Reception area looks excellent. The conference room we used was set up in a very strange way with projector in the corner and placed at a 45% angle, with chairs set up in an L shape. It meant no one could see the projection sharply.

Nice clean hotel food is also good but not great.

Super. But hard to hit, in the middle of the city.

Cheap hotel near the old Town (~ 10min walk).
Breakfast was top — plenty of choice and also good quality of the food offered.
The staff were very friendly and the room was very small.
A few little things you can find, which you cavil down-but for the price perfectly fine.

Nice, clean and easily reachable. However they didn't have slippers for the sauna, and they didn't leave a new set of hygiene products after we finished the first one. There is space for improvement but still very good.

New, modern hotel. Good breakfast, walking distance to the historic city centre.

Good for short visit in Bratislava. Breakfast ok, service desk too. Clean room.

Was there on a company party. OK drinks. Small place for the event. Not enough places to sit or even tables to eat. Food quality ok, but nothing great. Drink quality better.

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, on-site parking, good & rich breakfasts, relatively central, many restaurants and bars in the area negative: Small beds, mini TV for a night or two definitely recommended.

Terrible location and overall very poor service. Avoid. Staff in restaurant would not even get us butter when we asked. Really? Also, it's a long, sketchy walk to town. I would only walk it in the daytime. Central Bratislava is a nice place to visit… for a day or two so don't schedule many days here unless you want to stay in Bratislava and take the train to Vienna everyday instead (its about an hour away). Again, this hotel is near… ah, nothing! so it is not one I would recommend. They use cheap plain white plastic doors lock cards (the only hotel I have seen that doesnt have their hotel name printed on them) and when one broke they charge a small fortune to replace it — cant remember if it was 6 or 9 Euros! Should be called the Nickel and Dime hotel. Stay elsewhere.

Excellent venue for a conference with spectacular roof top meeting room. Excellent support from staff. Really nice food. Good value for money. On edge of the old town.

Rooms are big, staff is very kind, breakfast above average. It loses one star because of the elevators and the shower, worst I've seen in a long time.

Good service, breakfast is okay, shower not okay at all because of very low shower head. Air conditioning very loud and ineffective. We requested a double bed and got two separate beds next to each other. Very uncomfortable for cuddling. Price good.

It is a clean, beautiful hotel with high level of Service. I recommend it to all that are looking to stay in Bratislava.

15 min walk from the city center. Ice cold AC, epic breakfast spread and friendly hosts. Loved it.

I wouldn’t recommend that place! People who work in Hotel Saffron don’t know how to behave and what client service is. I lost 220 euro because of their approach! As a result of a bug on booking. Com, a reservation on my name was made in that hotel. They charged me for staying there althought I didn’t know the reservation existed. I lost 220 euro. I tried to solve the issue with the staff, but I recived a short e-mail with the information that I should concact booking. Com. I… did it ofc, but it was Hotel Saffron that charged me, not booking. Com! Booking cannot give me my money back. Usually, In such cases hotel charges for the first night. It seemed to be intentional act – I did’t show up so they did’t have to do the service. I can’t imagine that people who work in a modern, high class hotel in a capital city of a European country don’t communicate with their clients! No one had made contact when I didn’t arrive. I was able to accept a proposition of voucher to spend 3 days in Saffron at a later date, but they didn't care. If you require good quallity of service, customer aproach and nice moments, I suggest that you look for a diffrent hotel.

Overall it's OK hotel but is realistically overpriced. They should be charging ~20 eur less as there are plenty of other better (and more centrally located) hotels in Bratislava in same price range. Single beds (and double bed rooms are actually two single beds joined together) are very narrow and not that comfortable. Not everything that should work works (in rooms). Breakfast is really good and diverse though.

Very pleasant Hotel, we could not fault it. Excellent Bedroom and facilites, very comfortable, quiet and good selection of food. Would definately stay there again.

Clean rooms and a good breakfast buffet and for a reasonable price.

Would have got an extra star had the air conditioning been working.

The rooms were well-appointed, the breakfast buffet is of usual quality, so there's nothing to complain about in that department. But the access to the hotel is quite tricky, you have to go through a passage in a building to get there, and if you don't have a ride, it's a 10-minute walk to the city center.

Nice hotel, but overpriced, like everything in Bratislava.

NICE quality/price relationship Hotel. Very close to the downtown of the city.

Disappointing the service — that we need to pay for parking for in a business hotel. Also disappointing that in a 4 star hotel there is no way to get coffe before 7 AM or after 10 PM.
