The hotel's location is just perfect, it's possible to spot Bratislava Castle and only 7 min. Walking to the city and the historical center, 5min. To a new bridge to take a bus to Vienna. Friendly staff, reasonable price, amazing views on Danube. Love this place and definitely come back.

We stayed at the Botel Marina for the last couple of nights. The place was almost empty and I can now understand why. 1. The shower was cold. We left the shower running for at least 5 minutes and it didn't warm up. 2. Unlike the shower, the room was incredibly hot and the air conditioning didn't work. 3. The walls were very thin and we could hear the staff socialising outside. The staff frequented the outdoor areas intended for guests. 4. Breakfast didn't open until 8am.   5. The "supervisor" tried to scam us. We misplaced our room key (we suspect the supervisor took it) and the supervisor informed us we had to pay him €25 for a replacement key. He claimed there were no other keys even though we later established there were a draw full and it would only cost a couple of euro to get a copy cut.   We thoroughly enjoyed Bratislava but avoided the hotel during the day and only returned at night to sleep. The staff appear to live on board and I felt like we were uninvited guests in their home. The supervisor was constantly hovering around and acting in an intimidating manner.   There was another boat hotel a few hundred meters from the Botel Marina. If you want the boat hotel experience I recommend staying there instead.

Me and my boyfriend spent a weekend there, and my birthday gift disappeared after the room cleaning. We went to the receptionist, who told us, she will look after it, but she couldn't really help us. We had to leave, but after we came home, I've tried to contact the botel several times, did they find my missing valuable (it was not lost, guess it was stolen), but they did not reply neither phone calls, nor emails… They should have at least say sorry, but they could give us a refund… But not just this "accident" happend: we both had stomachache after the soup we ate there, so we spent the night in the bathroom… The room was not clean and it was very cold. Okay, the view was amazing, and the most of the staff were friendly and helpful. But I do not recommend this place at all. The reason why I am writing here, is because maybe they will read my problem at least here and other people can think twice before they book a room there…

Hotel by ship in the immediate vicinity of the center of Bratislava. Good value is quality.

The entrance bridge is very slippery, careful! The heating was loud but not warm (big faults), the room was small, the bathroom was small, breakfast was normal. The reception staff is good. The traffic is not very convenient, there is no supermarket near night.

It's a lovely idea, putting s charismatic 100 year old Louisiana oil steamer on the Danube and making it s hotel. And it could be done really well. Unfortunately in my cabin, the TV didn't work, it smelled of cigarettes, the curtains didn't block any light or give me privacy and I didn't find the beds comfortable. Also, the river was in full flow, candidate at times the groaning from the boat sounded like the iron moorings were slipping. The staff are lovely, though and it is a unique experience. Very reasonably priced too, which is why there were no complaints from me.

The idea is good, an old boat turned into a hotel in a very close proximity to the centre of Bratislava and the low price, unfortunately the hotel is dirty and has poor maintenance, even breakfast and quite modest.

Old, but neat. 15-20 minutes walk along the promenade to the old town. There is a transport stop near the bridge. If the room on the Danube-it will be a good view. Of the minuses-the lack of a number of shops and catering. Coming to RiverPark, but expensive and not near. At the weekend the restaurant (in fact half-a-Bhotel) is rented for events. It was just when the local school kids walked around. To put it mildly, midnight is noisy.

Surprisingly good overall accommodation, centrally located, breakfast is great. I can highly recommend staying here. Moderate prices as well.

I only stopped here for having lunch. I took the menu of the day and it was fine for a good price.

Pretty basic hotel but nice and close to the town centre and does the job if you are looking for a few nights no frills stay.

Fun place to stay for a couple nights. It doesn't have a/c and circulation isn't too great with the windows open. They do have fans but not for every room so request one if you get hot while sleeping. The fridge in the room is really small. Beds we're firm in our room. Clean but worn. No real close bus ot tram stop so it is a hike from the bridge to the entrance. Staff is friendly and either spoke English or German as a second language. There is also a party boat next door that was really loud way into the night on our Sat night.

It's nice for what it is. You really need to bring some earplugs to be able to sleep. And the air conditioning doesn't work well so it also gets really hot. Don't expect much for breakfast either.

Attention do not make reservations with HOTELOPIA in this hotel (nor elsewhere) … it does not send confirmation and leaves you in doubt; In case you want to change your dates or cancel it is not possible! Their customer service seems to be absent subscribers: (

Welcoming. A different type of overnight stay. Cradled by the currents of the mighty Danube.

I put 3 star because the setting is nice and the breakfast not bad at all.
The location also is original, however, the rooms are a bit antiquated and small.
Big positive point, 10 min walk from the center.

I thought only it will be beautiful… can sleep man here gu and cheap. The restaurant cooks very well to really normal prices. The colleague at the reception is great and takes care of everything. De rooms are small, old and no longer nice. The breakfast is not. Old sausage and maintenance coffee? Fresh coffee will cost extra…? This is not at all. No parking spaces available! We do not come back! Because the breakfast, the ladies in the morning and the missing parking is to blame.

The location is great. Right next to the city center, at the same time on a peaceful location on the river. Our double room was cozy, clean, quiet and very-well equipped. The view was serene (ask for a riverside room), and breakfast was decent. Moreover, the staff are very nice. We forgot a souvenir in our room. They were nice enough to mail it all the way to the UK. In the end they wrote off the cost. We are very grateful.

Botel Marina is NOT at this location at all but few hundred meters further from city centre! The only botel situated here actually in the city centre is Botel Gracia.
