Best in Singapore, good Wi-Fi, breakfast starts from midnight, helpful staff, clean toilets, good location.

The hive hostel is simply amazing! Everyone is very take care of me. The staff abhee is very friendly and nice. This is unforgettable experience and I will choose to stay here again ;) It's a platform for me to make friends, learn from each others, gain knowledge and… have a good sleep as well! ;D.

I love travelling and I always choose budget friendly accomodation. One of my friend recommend the hive because its affordable. Yah its true but I just dont like what messy the sink and bed mattress smells stingy. Maybe the cleaner havent change the cover. Hope the management can deal with it.

This place is accessible into nearby places but I cant recommend for the clealiness beacuse only in walking areas was sweeply clean but under the beds was dusty. And I dont like the cleaner with a long hair who is snobbish. Her face is not accomodating.

I cant recommend this place because of kind messy floor and stingy smell toilets. Maybe the cleaner of this hostel just doing her job as a past time and she had an attitude need to furnish. And I think she is from philippines.

Location is kinda far from the main attractions, facilities are okay, but if you want a little taste of Little India, it's a good place to stay and very cheap too.

Decent place but the room we stayed in was quite dusty. The place is located along a very busy and noisy highway. Very hard to sleep at night.

It's cheap, it's clean. Wi-Fi is available. But without telling the unauthorized direct change of room, moving luggage. Back to the hotel only to know that from 6 people room was changed to 8 people room. The room was changed and many people were looking for backpacks. Take back the original praise!

Nice comfy place for backpackers. Good Wi-Fi and the ac chillness was good. 15 minutes walk to the nearby MRT station.

Basic room anf service. Location is witnin 20min walking disyance to subway. No shopping ventral nearly. However, you can take the direct subway to Chinatown.

Best for backpackers. Surrounded with late night Indian Food restaurant, and 5 mins walking distance of MRT station. Loved it.

A good option for budget traveler, clean and fresh, free coffee and tea, near to MRT station Boon Keng.

Budget hostel that's relatively clean and close to the MRT. The showers and restrooms are aging and could use a makeover. Very basic but lodging is expensive in Singapore. I stay here just to shower and sleep.

Cheap and affordable hostel located near Boon Keng station. Located within walking distance to Little India and 24 hour opened Mustafa Centre.

Cool. Clean. Not a crazy friendly place. Wasn't able to meet too many ppl. But if Ure looking for an OK place to stay for the night this place will do the trick.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed. Nice location, near mrt and little india. Room is clean and very comfy bed. Good facilities, big lobby to hang out, and free laundry saves my pocket.

Place is good. But kind of not very clean. Also I was concerned about the security of my valuebles. But nothing happened. Take your own lock if you go there.

Great hostel to stay. The receptionists were really friendly and helpful. Value for money, the location is near the subway which is perfect to go around the city. I spent 3 nights here and felt like own home in singapore.

Singapore is a good bit more expensive than other countries in SE Asia. While The Hive would be dearer than the average hostel in Thailand etc it is 1 of the cheapest in Singapore. In fact I believe it had the cheapest room when I browsed the various hostel sites. In this case cheapest does not mean dirty or bad quality. Rooms were clean with plenty of sockets for charging. The showers are very good with a lot of pressure. Staff at reception were helpful and it offers a free breakfast albeit nothing spectacular. There is also an air-conditioned TV room and free Wi-Fi. Slight downsides is some of the doors in the showers could not be locked, the Wi-Fi while quick sometimes didn't work and it's possibly a little out of the way (although quite near a metro stop) The good outweighs the bad and I would happily stay there again. If you are looking for minimising how much you spend this is a place to look at.

Nice hostel. Friendly and helpful receptionist. My roommate told me that he stayed in 4 hostels before and the hive is the best.
