Clean and the staffs are friendly. The surrounding despite being in town is really slow and peaceful. The room is very comfortable as well.

Overall a nice experience with friendly and helpful staff. We spent here three nights. We travelled with our two y. O. Son. The rooms are very tiny and simple but very well organized. Tv, shower, mini fridge (empty), toilet, flip flops, towels, safety box, bathrobes and more. For us it was perfect because of the location, pretty central, and we spent most of the day outside in Singapore and coming back to our room for resting and chilling out by the pool. Nice and quiet part of town. Walking distance from restaurants as well as shopping malls.

Room looks clean and asthetically pleasing. They even provide a coffee machine at the pantry. Toilet was clean. However, there were mosquitoes at night so ask for mosquito coil from the front desk if you encounter them.

Lloyd's Inn just a 5-8min. Walk from the MRT and Orchard Road is very centrally located, 2 level basic hotel. The rooms are small but quite comfortable. The raised floor bed arrangement could be a bit hard for older folk to access. The step up is quite high and the mattress on the floor we found a bit difficult. With no breakfast on site, the 5min walk and extra cost for a full breakfast was a bit off putting. It is very clean and well maintained with a small dip pool and outdoor area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are not a high rise hotel person, this is a pleasant place to stay.

Staycation at a very unique n minimalist boutique hotel, Lloyd's Inn… the spacial relationship connecting spaces with the play of shadow & light and also the Zen type of bgm gives a tranquil kind of experience. Thumbs up.

We spent a lovely 4 nights here. At first the breakfast situation (in concept) put me off. See, you have to walk around the block and eat at a local spot. But I’m so glad this is set up in in this manner. The local spot is great! The room is nice, the staff very friendly. My only complaint is that the shower is open air. Which means the toilet and shower are subject to the heat and humidity Singapore is known for. And the mosquitos get in this way. : (

Easy to find place in town area. Room amenities was wonderful with a smart TV that makes watching my favourite show a breeze. Will definitely visit again!

Nice place. Minimalist design. ABIT pricey for the space provided but can be understood because of the proximity to orchard shopping malls!

This place is just so amazing, located in a closed of location but so close to town. No kettles available though, but there's free coffee and some cookies at the pantry. Pantry can be a good social place. There are also nice private nooks couple can relax out of the room.

Nice little place. The minimalistic design is perfect for the ocd-factor inside me. Nice staff and the pool area is beautiful, like a small oasis at the core of the bustling city. The location is very central, you can get food and drinks in no time and the next grocery store is right next to the food court. The only annoying thing is that the included breakfast is outside of the hotel in another food court and not satisfactory.

Wonderful hotel right smack in Orchard area. Rooms are clean, spacious, quiet and wonderfully designed. Outdoor bathtub area is soooo nice! And they have free Netflix! A 5 star from me!

Location is a short walking distance from Orchard Road in a quiet private residential area. Was at their Big Sky room, which is sleeps 2 with a small loft and a sky facing shower. The room is small but is comparable with most boutique hotels in Singapore.

Great hotel, great location, we got upgraded to the suite for no charge. I'm very happy at this hotel and will stay here again!

10, 000 TWD 34, 000 price, but the indoor network is really slow, the toilet around a long-term leak. Outdoor doors open are easy for mosquitoes to enter. Daytime outdoor cleaning and maintenance of the sound is very noisy, can not rely on the bed ⋯ and the photos on the site have a slight discrepancy, TV program painting has a point not to keep up with the Times ⋯ overall is feeling good, but a little too expensive, in the overall service and quality ⋯

An average inn at best. The room itself bears minimal resemblance to what the photos depict. Aesthetically pleasing alright, yet practically incompetent. Terrible noise isolation; limited hot water supply; noisy neighbours; noisy air-con etc. Yet, more expensive than a 4-star hotel (M social, e. G. ). Recommended for young travellers looking for photos to post on Instagram, not for those who are on budget or looking for a cosy place to spend the night.

Nice garden, and cool outdoor shower. Had some problems with electricity in our room. Good value local restaurants around and great breakfast cafe.

Room was aesthetically pleasing. However, it was quite small, the walls were also quite thin. There was also ants crawling about and the receptionist was also unfriendly towards guests.

My parents-in-law always stay here when they come to visit us in Singapore because its very unique, always service with a smile and they say that it has the most comfortable beds!

This is a beautiful hotel, very well located, with a friendly and helpful staff. Everything is truly well thought of: the hotel itself, the garden with all the beautiful vegetation — there's a lot of space to just relax, for instance I went lying on the hamac during the day, it is very hot outside but the concrete walls and the greenery makes it a cool place in the shadow. And then there's the room, high quality bed and bedding, fantastic shower, toiletries, very clean and minimalistic… Two negative points: I was in the reading room (number 4), very close to the terrace where you can get drinks from the machine, sit down and talk. This isn't an issue at normal hours but when you have guests starting to be very loud until 3am, it gets problematic. I couldn't sleep well on my last night but I'm now relaxing in the hamac — so I'm balancing it out. Also, the breakfast system may be nice for some (having to go to nearby local places) but it wasn't for me, it's a short walk but it isn't ideal on your last day for instance, when you're checking out (I skipped it). In conclusion: I would come again but I'll make sure to get another room, far from the shared areas, and I wouldn't book breakfast. All in all, I'm happy with my stay and it was good value too.

A wonderful minimal hotel. Everything you need. Beautiful and simple. Excellent location within walking distance to great shopping and food.

Disappointing. First of all their concierge seems smokey and stoned all time. They didn't mentioned that their rooms are non-smoking. Later when I smoked one day they sent me a letter of €150 fine. That's stupid and intolerable. There manager talk like they own you and doing a favour with your stay. I would suggest never considered this property for your stay (you gonna disappoint yourself too)

A calm oasis in a busy city. I thought the free breakfast arranged off property was weird at first but eating at Killiney Koptian was actually pretty nice!

Very nice hotel, not to big, clean and quiet. Nice friendly staff and housekeeping. Rooms are big enough for sleeping and visiting Singapore. Would recommend this for couples without kids and short-stay business people. Close to centre and restaurants. Would I book again? Yes…

Located away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still walking distance to the Orchard Road shopping belt. Had an overall pleasant stay. Room was very clean. Highly recommended for a staycation & travellers.

Unfortunately quite small rooms, even though in fancy design. My opinion: Price is too high for what you get. It's not more than average.

We completely enjoyed our stay! The grounds were super neat and clean, and the room (we stayed in the Big Sky Room) was magnificent. The decor was clean and fresh, and the spaces open and inviting. The staff were also very polite and professional. Definitely a good choice, and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Me and the family almost always stay here when were in town. It's homey, the staff are very helpful, cheery, and very much portrays the character of warm and friendly singaporeans! nothing fancy, but more than you need and more! affordable rates too, not far from places of cuisine, shopping, MRTs, etc.

Great value for money! Do not expect anything fancy, though :) This is an old plantation house, full of character and run by great staff. Lots of places to eat "local" just around the corner and central Somerset MRT station within walking distance (and most of the walk undercover too, helps a lot when it rains :) ).
