Loved my stay, looks nice the room was great, clean and comfy, and the service was spectacular. The front seat was so helpful almost like friends giving you advice when you ask for anything. Location is perfect, walking distance to beautiful Bay Area… no negatives to this hotel.

Perfect location, only a few minutes walk to 3 diff MRT stations, right by Chinatown and a super cheap hawkers market. Room is little but is so gorgeous and you wouldnt get much bigger in Singapore. Have holidayed in Singapore lots and this is by far the best place to stay. Lots of neighbouring bars and restaurants. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Bold Colour, Vibrant Location and Great Service. Great Hotel with stunning views and easy access to Chinatown, plus all bars, restaurants and nearby buses and MRT stations. The hotel staffs go out of the way to make sure you have a pleasant stay with them. Highly Recommended!

The service and deco in this unique shop house converted luxury boutique hotel, also well surrounded by good /cheap local food and restaurants. Only 10 minutes to choices of 3 different MRT stations and 2 minutes walk to Chinatown. Love it!

Deco is nice for a boutique hotel but furniture is old. Service is all right. Breakfast selection ok.

A hotel with a lot of personality, has a very careful decoration.
The rooms overlook a long red hallway that gives the feeling of being in another world or atmosphere.
The room we were given was very small but well maintained, only in the booking with the agency it claimed to be a luxury room and it was not for both.
The sale was high and comes in a lot of light but you can not peek, although you see the skyscrapers, night sky and thunderstorms that usually have.
The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good.

Great location with Maxwell food center just a stone's throw away. Stayed in a premium room during my last visit. Decor has a mellow and relaxing feel, great if you like a dim atmosphere.

Great location and a nice hotel for a reasonable price. What stands out is the quality of the materials used in the room (bathroom fixtures, mattresses, linen). Pictures on the webpage well reflect what you can expect from every room type. A recommendation for Singapore.

, dirty and old … It's really the first thing I've ever lived in a hotel. The site looks romantic. Actual check-in is rotten and slow such services can actually be in the major brands app has so it's amazing how much praise is, ⋯. The room was stuffy and small on the table, and the dust on the desk was so dusty and the sheets were so itchy. The fridge is not ice-dumbfounded, my friend and I really don't want to be a bad customer, so I called them and they were willing to add money to the room. To receive our make-up Malay waiter one mouthful at the beginning. Rebuffed the hotel is full of no way to attitude arrogant absolutely no empathy don't want to help we do not want to endure the decision to check out abroad good mood completely ruined the hotel has a Joel's staff was very gentle, really, thanks to him, our anger subsided, and his makeup, his male colleague, was drifting away, and he was pathetic. Because his colleagues really thought he was pathetic and hard to say he would give him a 50 yuan tip and he refused to accept that it was to help us.

Wonderful welcome from the staff on arrival. Room small but only here two nights so not a problem, you can upgrade. Hotel is clean and welcoming. Perfect location for our needs. Would have no hesitation in staying here again. Loved it.

Nice location to immerse in local culture. Nearby is a street with three different religious site/temple showing how Singapore is a multicultural and religious society. The nearby Maxwell market consist of a small but wide variety of local food. Room is spacious, with in-house resturant. But some facility can be better. The toilet door can't be fully closed. The shower head water pressure is pretty small. However the water pressure for the bathtub is pretty fast. Nice ambience for a romantic short getaway.

The suite we had was the Opulent Suite. I was delighted by the fact that they showed us to our room. It was my parent's anniversary. Our room was facing the road which meant that there will be vehicles passing by. Over all we enjoyed staying at the Scarlet Hotel.

Nice hotel. Very quiet and centrally located. Friendly staff. Rooms are a bit small and the gym is very small too.

Comfortable and spotlessly clean room if a little small. Our cases could not be comfortably accommodated — although if just a small cabin case then it would be fine. Shower facilities really good as hot and powerful. Maid acted as if she had clogs on, clumping about upstairs and waking us in the morning. Paid extra to extend time in the room to have a sleep before our flight but noise from upstairs prevented this (sounded like bed changing). If it wasn’t for this annoyance then it would have been a really good stay. Great quiet location but within a few minutes of China town and the Metro.

Great location, but small rooms. Needs update and cleaning. Rooms are carpeted and no bottom fitted sheets and no top sheet; comforter only.

We had a deluxe room on the ground floor, which was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The room backed onto the shops, it had no windows, was very dark green on all walls, with very subdued lighting. We both found it very claustrophobic. Difficult to get tea and coffee replaced when we ran out. Location was excellent, if only the room had had a window and better lighting, when required. The roof top bar was lovely but extremely expensive. Breakfast was fine. Would only ever go back if we had a room with windows!

Rooms were small but good. Service was excellent. Provided us rooms early inspite of check in time of 2 pm. Overall happy with their services.

Very well appointed hotel with a great location close to Chinatown. The deluxe room we were give were extremely small and poorly lit. We did get an upgrade to an executive suite which was nicely sized although the balcony was looking onto a car park. Overall a nice hotel but you need to go for a bigger room. For me it's 3 stars.

Had a lot of expectations since it was advertised as a luxurious boutique hotel. Upon checking into the room it was slightly underwhelming. There was a weird wound coming from the central PA system in the room the whole night and the walls are a bit thin. However overall was a good experience service wise.

Great service but I think the electrical sockets in my room require additional checks as they blew 2 of their provided for hair dryers after using them for a minute each.

Rooms do not live up to a 4 star… often without windows! Crazy humidity and Terrifying conditioner!

This boutique hotel takes up a portion of the heritage building that's being conserved, hence you can expect the rooms to be somewhat smallish. But I think they have done a great job with the interiors, which gives a very cosy feel to it. Location is not too bad, just walking distance to Chinatown, or towards the CBD. Tourists can enjoy a lot of local delights around the area, especially food! Maxwell hawker is right at the front, People's Park is around the corner in Chinatown.

Good location. Close to China Town and business disteict. Very classic building and unique set up. A bit dark inside.

Location is very good as it is a less than minute walk to Marina Bay Financial Center (walking is faster than MRT). Located in China town so a fast range of restaurants available near by. A 24 hour 7/11 is next to this hotel. Elegant design but small number of staff. Good if you want some better privacy.

Great hotel, right near Chinatown. Many sights in walking distance, and much choice of restaurants nearby. The staff is fantastic, rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff were so accommodating, helped with everything. A minus is the small rooms. If you travel lightly, this is not a problem, but if you have a bit more luggage, it can be a struggle.

Good location in Chinatown, lively and colorful neighborhood. Quiet rooms, comfy mattress and pillows. Negative notes: Extremely small room so much so that if you want to open suitcase you have to lay it on the bed… average cleanliness.

The Scarlet was a hidden gem that both my boyfriend and I agreed on. The front desk staffs were so approachable with their bright smiles and our premium room was absolutely amazing — clean with a big, comfortable bed, cozy atmosphere, unique decor and complimentary mini bar! We almost couldn't bear to get up and leave the next day hahaha. The only reason I could not give a 5* was because I woke up to clutters of tiny bites on my arms and thigh. There is a high possibility th…at I was bitten by bed bugs during the night, however my boyfriend had none of it so I'm hoping it was just an allergy on my part. Nonetheless, thank you once again for the birthday card and mini treats for my boyfriend, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and will certainly be back again :) P. S. I would also like the extend a big thank you to Azura for handling all my enquiries patiently weeks prior to our arrival.

Loved every minute at this hotel. Staff are so friendly, rooms are neat and tidy with fun little touches. Perfect place to stay in the Chinatown area. Very quiet at all times and yet just a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle of Chinatown day and night.

Love the architecture and how it stands out at the junction. Nice rooftop and trendy lobby. Like that it's near to a famous local four centre — Maxwell Food Centre and so close to Chinatown.

I had an excellent business trip thanks to the lovely boutique hotel Scarlet. I stayed there this past week and it was one of my best hotel experiences ever. Everything about the hotel was great. I stayed in room 206 on floor 2B. It was located right next to the Jacuzzi, which was perfect. The room, bathroom, staff, bar on roof, restaurant, front desk were all brilliant. The location is excellent, close to everything. I could not fault the hotel Scarlet. I will be going back.

Hotel is excellent especially the services and the location. Only down side was the fridge. It was not cold even after a replacement. Otherwise, everything was great.

Shhh! Don't tell anyone how fabulous this hotel is. It looks beautiful with an over the top luxe feel, it's quirky but amazingly comfortable, so close to Chinatown market stalls and food, and the rooftop bar is very cool. Decor in rooms is also gorgeous and cosy. My bed is so big that I can lie either way! Perfect for business or pleasure.

Excellent facilities and location. A little throwback hotel with a relaxed vibe. Just a short walk to the club street area. Great weekend venue. Not recommended if you prefer easy access to the train and/or bus.
