Very nice hotel if you are looking for peace and quiet. Friendly staff, beautiful tasteful rooms and very good food. Unfortunately, the meat dishes are usually very chewy, but the fish is always good. However, if you are looking for nightlife and evening program, you are out of place here.
A bad experience was still: When there was a medical emergency of a female employee, it took several calls and about 40 minutes until someone finally came.

The hotel is very nice and modern. The standard rooms (terraced house) are very large with a great bathroom and bathtub, seating area and small terrace with some sea views. There is also everything that is expected from a good 4 star hotel. The exterior — and pool area is beautifully designed, especially the jetty with infinity seawater pool. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. Great hotel, but the beach is not nice. There is a free shuttle to Anse Laszio.

Got victim of overbooking from the hotel! Our last stay in Seychelles for our honeymoon was supposed to be there. Once there we learn the hotel is full and we will be transferred to an equivalent one. Did not feel so equivalent. No compensation whatsoever. Beware! You may or may not be a victim of this practice as well. For peace of mind, I'll suggest to just avoid it.

But only for the reason that €100 was stolen from our pockets … It's a real shame … We actually thought that at just under €200, 000 for 4 nights so what can't happen …

Delicious food, friendly staff and newly refurbished rooms, all very tastefully decorated.
On the jetty above the sea you can see the starry sky wonderfully.

Evening entertainment was nice with live music and the occasional show. Beautiful part of the world, anywhere in the Indian Ocean is a place of sheer beauty and very peaceful.

Coco de Mer is a beautiful beach side resort. It has some really breathtaking views to make it a place worth staying. The rooms are huge and have a large hot tub. Some rooms are beautifully placed to provide the ocean view. One thing you cannot miss here is the sunset. They have a private beach that you can access through an artificial bridge. Though the beach has a lot of sea weeds but you can manage to do some kayaking and paddle board provided by the resort for free. One thing that disappointed me was the food for vegetarians.

We had a great time in Praslin mainly thanks to Coco de Mer Hotel. Service and staff were amazing and really personalised. Room were really nice and we look forward to go back once the refurbishment will be done as it could only be a spectacular experience then as we just had the greatest one.

Accommodation, surroundings, beach and the ambience is excellent. The place is secluded and perfect for time off the usual world. The hotel is little on the expensive side of the budget. The restaurant and the food could have been better. Very less vegetarian options.

Highly recommend pool side restaurant. Local, international even Asian food were. Relaxing atmosphere. Daily shuttle bus to Anse Lazio beach! Wonderful stay. Buffet was bit disappointing compare with pool restaurant, room was not high end, but acceptable.

It is a beautiful hotel located right by the sea. It has a large swimming pool and a very nice garden. The hotel has several restaurants. The food in the buffet restaurant (half board) is of very high quality and is mostly freshly prepared. Beverage prices are roughly at German level.
The beach is not the biggest, but for the maximum guests is completely sufficient. Only in the German summer one has to bear in mind that as with all hotels on the southern side of the island of Praslin, sea Grass collects on the beach, which is not inviting.
This is why the hotel offers a shuttle to Anse Lazio every 2 days. It is located in the north and is one of the most beautiful and largest beaches on the island.
There is also a bus stop for public transport about 300m away from the hotel. There you can hop on a bus for about 30c and explore the island.
If you have booked a car, free parking is available at the hotel.

Nice hotel. Good food and new rooms. But the sad downside is the seaweed. The entire beach is full of seaweed which stinks and makes the beach unusable. No free spot for swimming or snorkeling. Only one small pool, which is close to the beach wirh the seaweed smell. There are better locations on Praslin for sure.

Coco de Mer has a unique offering compared to other hotels — the coco de mer nut. It is a unique theme of the hotel and located in a quiet area of the beautiful Praslin island. Another unique feature of the hotel is the small relaxation structure on the beach which allows guests to feed the fish. This is a great entertainment for adults, especially kids. Service is professional from the staff, though it lacks that "top of the iceberg" service, which is probably expected of a 3-star hotel. But since tourism is the main business, they can improve on it. The rooms are spacious enough, with views and access (from lowest level floors) to the beach. It is in close proximity to the restaurant and swimming pool. It has the basic amenities required. We found our room not 100% clean and that is disappointing. The mini-bar restaurant and the swimming pool are probably the highlights of the hotel. The restaurant has a theme everyday but does not provide lunch. This allows guests to tour the island by hiring a car (which is available at the hotel itself), which is a great sightseeing experience. There are no facilities for kids except the swimming pool.

Very friendly and courteous staff. The hotel is a bit secluded but has its very own special charm. Especially the Black Parrot suites are recommended.

Went for my sixth wedding anniversary stayed for 3 nights. We had a very memorable stay the staff were so professional in arranging my surprise romantic dinner. Definitely going back with the kids very soon.

The star is for the good food. The facility is very old. The beach is not going. The trash in the background does not provide for relaxation. The pool at Coco de Mer was a disaster. You should be careful not to cause any injuries, as the rim is completely broken. Very unkempt and the rooms were not clean. Black Parrot belongs to it and is then the upscale class, since it is everything else is also nicer. Please pay attention when booking. We have changed the hotel after 2 days unfortunately.

Eigt no star at all. The plant is the horror. On the beach rubbish. They are lying here and are so filthy. The pool falls half apart and the room just plain dirty. We changed the hotel.

Perfect for 2. I've been in Coco the Mer hotel (Both black parrot hotel and Coco de Mer hotel are connect) The room is amazing, staff, local, beach, sunset everything really good and really romantic place for couple.

Aavani resort at mahe. It is nice comfortable resort with luxurious environment and cordial staff. Good Wi-Fi coverage at beach also. Nice food.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay here! We were lucky enough that our room was upgraded, which made the stay even better! The views here are incredible! Staff were always very friendly and food was great! Would highly recommend!

I visited with family, had 4 rooms for the family. The air conditioning of all four rooms was pathetic, it was hardly able to drop the temperature by 2 to 3 degrees. On complaint it was attended and I was offered a shift for one of the rooms which was more or less same. The location of the hotel is very good, the staff very Cooperative, the food good. The facilities are old, you have no phone charging on bed side, has only one 15 amp socket where no phone charger fits. The hotel does lend you an adopter with a deposit of SCR 150. Wifi is free but available only near reception area. Unfortunately the time spent out of rooms is more pleasant.

Goods were already 4 times there, everything was brima.

Nice Hotel directly at the sea with good food and nice, big rooms. We were in August 2015 in this Hotel (Coco de Mer) and can recommend it to others. Great is also the Transfer to the Anse Lazio and the water sports (kayaking, stand up paddling).

Super, enjoyed the location and the place. Felt like in heaven. Great to drive around, virgin beaches and friendly people.
