Blue Hill

We stayed here for 3 nights last September 2025 as part of our honeymoon week at Seychelles. The location is just naturally beautiful — lush greenery, fresh air and it's overlooking Victoria and a few islands. They have a huge garden/lawn with the mountains as a natural backdrop. It's quite secluded so we really enjoyed it as we wanted to get away from the city and had a very good rest during our stay. It's a 15-20 min walk to the town of Victoria so if you enjoy walking and trekking then it's a good way to enjoy the greenery and see the local residential houses along the way. Otherwise, would recommend to take a cab to and from Blue Hill.
The daily breakfast was healthy and yummy — freshly sliced fruits, fresh passion fruit juice, fresh jam, bread, eggs, coffee, tea etc. We had ala carte dinner too and again, food was amazing.
During our stay, there were a few events (birthdays, etc. ) that happened in pool and garden area as the guest house is also open to host events and it seems quite a popular place even for the locals.
The employees were sincerely warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Prakash, Tej, Shanto, Dil, Joshua and the entire Blue Hill team for making our stay truly memorable. Our stay felt like a home away from home.

Nice Stay – Though Just for One Night.
I only stayed one night at Blue Hill Guest House, so I didn’t get the chance to fully experience everything the hotel has to offer. That said, the overall atmosphere was pleasant and the room was clean and nicely set up.
The staff were welcoming, and the guest house is in a peaceful location with lovely surroundings. The room was comfortable, but the bed could definitely use an upgrade — it wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped.
With a longer stay, I’m sure I would have appreciated the place even more. It’s a charming guest house with good potential for a relaxing experience.

Great service, great local breakfast, problem solving instant, when needed. Outstanding view, with a great swimming pool, available taxi for transportation, if needed (extra cost). We were also advised a shortcut to go on foot to Victoria: approx. 2 km + they have four tortoises! 😁

We stayed for one night in this hotel in October 2024, our last night in the Seychelles. We purposely chose a secluded hotel to enjoy some peace and quiet one last time. Overall, we were satisfied with the property and the food.
However, there was one incident that deeply disturbed us and that I need to share: During breakfast, an employee went after a little kitten, also throwing sticks at her. I ran after him screaming to prevent further harm. It was extremely shocking to see an adult man behave so maliciously and aggressively toward a small cat. I don’t know his name, but he was always at the front desk and he was the one checking us in and out. He also worked in the restaurant, and we assume he is of Pakistani origin.
It really broke my heart and made me extremely sad, and that’s why I urge all animal lovers to carefully consider booking this hotel and think twice before staying there. To be honest, I am addressing not only animal lovers, but also everyone else. Such behavior is absolutely disgraceful and deeply concerning!

We had a blast. We stayed there for 12 days. The staff was the sweetest. The rooms were really big and clean. Thanks to our boys Santo, Arif, Din, Tej and Pokas! Many greetings from Greece! 🇬🇷

Honestly, this place is a 4* hotel at best but aside from the rooms just needing a bit of a cheer up, we had a great stay. The views are… BEST we saw in our time in Victoria/Mahe Island. We arrived VERY early and they let us have a room anyway as we were travelling with a toddler. The restaurant menu was great, portions vast and very tasty. The swimming pool was clean and nice too. Not the best for toddlers as there isn’t really a shallow end, and they could benefit from having a poolside service / new sunloungers and for the pool and rooms … new towels!

I recently stayed at Blue Hills Guest House in Seychelles, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is a hidden gem, offering a peaceful and serene environment that makes it the perfect place for a relaxing escape. It’s truly a must-visit spot to experience a piece of paradise.
The rooms were fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the attention to detail was impressive. We had the pleasure of meeting Prakash, who runs the hotel almost single-handedly. Blue Hills is truly lucky to have him, as he goes above and beyond to ensure every guest has a memorable stay.
The food was outstanding, thanks to the talented chef who created delicious meals that made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend checking out Blue Hills Guest House whenever you’re in Seychelles—it’s an experience you won’t forget!

We booked the 'Junior Suite with Sea View' room.
The location, while it could be difficult to reach without a rental car and proper driving experience, is one of it's kind.
You get a full view of the major part of Mahe and also a great view of the mountains behind along with a panaromic sea view.
The value for money was great as we stayed there for two days for a total of EUR 277 (which is relatively very cheap for Seychelles).
The services offered were very good. Shanto from Bangladesh was very friendly and proactive in solving any issues (minor only) that we faced.
One thing that we would change is a little more options for vegetarian breakfast. But no points cut for that as they still made good efforts to ensure we were full.
The property was well maintained and was lush with greenery all around.
Overall, highly recommend this place for a fantastic view and excellent service.

This boutique hotel is not in town but sits above so the view is lovely. The staff is very friendly and accommodating with highly personalized service. You can give your dinner request and time so it is all ready when you arrive for dining, We would stay here again.

We are back to one of the favorite place on Mahe! As always, impeccable service, comfortable rooms, breathtaking view and yummy food. It really feels like coming back to good friends.
My waaaay overdue words of gratitude from our previous stay go to Prakash, Taneil for overall service and genuine care, (special thanks to Taneil for beauty services best facial I got on Mahe), Santos and Arif for cleanliness, Bishnu and Sid for breakfast, lunch and dinners (I would never miss those dumplings)! This place has one of the best view, I was so impressed with Mr Prakash service, excellent view. And services amazing. The staff is very Friendly, can't remember the name of the Filipino lady who offered me her bus card, to you use when I am in the town, they are super friendly and helpful.

Absolutely loved this hotel! First of all the views are amazing and we even see the most stunning sunset whilst waiting for dinner! We were only staying for 1 night before we headed back to the airport but for us it was perfect. If you are staying longer you will 100% need a hire car or be prepared to pay a lot of money on taxis. When we arrived they upgraded our room for us which was lovely, the room was so spacious and the beds were very comfortable, out of the 4 hotels we stayed in on the Seychelles these beds were the most comfy. Our stay included breakfast which again was the best breakfast out of the 4 hotels we stayed in. You are given a menu to choose what breakfast you want along with toast, pancakes, hash browns and fruit. I also ordered a hot chocolate which I wasn't expecting to be very nice but it was so chocolatey! Better than Costa and Starbucks! 🤣
If you have dinner here I'd recommend the vegetable spring rolls! They were the best spring rolls I have ever tasted!
The man who was looking after us whilst we stayed for the night was really helpful and even let us back into our room after checking out to shower as we were not leaving until 4:30pm. We were very much appreciative of this kind gesture.
I highly recommend this lovely hotel up in the hills. Just note that nothing nearby is walkable as it is up steep winding roads.

The hotel is situated in a lovely location looking down on the city of Victoria. It’s in lovely, well maintained grounds, with a large clean swimming pool. The room was clean and spacious. What we loved most of all was the kindness of the staff.
The meals were at least as good as those we had in the highest rated restaurants in the area.
You will need a car if you stay for more than a few days, but it’s definitely worth it to be able to enjoy this hillside retreat.

Location opens up a great and beautiful view of the city and bay. Hotel is located in a quiet place where you can merge with nature. The rooms are spacious clean and well equipped (TV, air conditioner, iron, refrigerator, coffee and tea maker) separate room for storing clothes, bathroom and shower in the bathroom. It is a new hotel with a focus on cleanliness and comfort. A large and beautiful Garden/mini Park with a lot of exotic fruits. They also have turtles. Very welcoming staff. Very tasty food, very large portions. They also helped us with any questions related to transportation in the city and the purchase in the store of the essentials. We spent a day and a night in this location due to the flight cancellation, staff was very welcoming so we managed to detach ourselves from the problem of the canceled flight. We want to thank you for your hospitality! 🤗🇸🇨🌺👏
