We visited earlier this month and I have to say this place is gorgeous! it only gets more breathtaking as you walk around and discover the hotel and the surroundings. the rooms are clean and spacious. The beach is Amazing! feels like a private beach! the staff is very hospitable. Special thanks to the assistant manager Charles who was a great help, and Melody and Grwin who helpled make our evening very special. would defenitly recommend it to everyone!

It was such an amazing experince with kempinski… from the staff, facilities and the food was all on top! We had our small private wedding and it was amazing, Beatriz has done an execellent job from planning till execution… wedding flowers, decoration and the reception dinner was beautiful. We are happy to recommend kempinski for all our friends in UAE and all over the world, was hassle free at the end of the day! Thank you so much and we will come back for sure ❤️❤️❤️

We spent a week at this resort and we had an amazing time. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food at the buffet and windsong restaurant had a great variety. We definitely look forward to visiting again!

This is a great resort, rooms are clean, spacious, staff are amazing and go above and beyond to help. The views are incredible, so you ask, why would I not recommend to stay here at this time? After more than three weeks in the Seychelles, staying in different islands, there is no COVID control here, a huge concern. Guests and staff alike don't wear masks, no temperature monitoring, social distance, I even had to request the receptionist to wear a mask before I spoke with her. This is vastly different to all of the other hotels we have stayed in the past 3 weeks which were very strict and trying to protect the tourist industry to what they depend upon the Kempinski is doing the opposite and not enforcing the required control. after Covid I would not hesitate in returning, at the moment we are just hoping that we can leave safely.

We travelled here during covid for our wedding registration and had an amazing time!
The hotel is nice and spacious with plenty of beach space for guests (social distancing was also very good at the beach), the pool and gym were closed however they have plenty natural landscapes within the property to explore.
The rooms are spacious and modern and very well maintained. The food and service in the restaurants/room service was very good, every meal we had was very high quality and tasty.
The staff in particular were the best part of our holiday; they were all warm, friendly and very helpful. I would particularly like to thank Beatriz from the wedding department and the lovely ladies in red for making our wedding/holiday so memorable. Beatriz and her team organized an amazing beach venue for our wedding and helped us thoroughly from the pre-planning to the wedding day and every in between. They have also implemented very high safety measures for covid which made us feel relaxed during our stay here.

The staff here are absolutely incredible. Every single person we have met has spoken to us, checked we are OK, asked if we need anything etc etc. A stunning resort in a stunning part of Mahe. Clean, relaxing, beautiful, quiet beach right by our room, with fab views of the hills and some of the boulders that make Seychelles so special. Would recommend this resort to anyone.

From check-in to departure, my wife and I have been so impressed by the standard of care, attention to detail and professionalism displayed by your staff.
From the reception desk staff to guest services, buggy drivers to beach staff, shop and recreation staff, chefs, waiters, housekeeping and the Ladies in Red – everyone we have encountered throughout the resort has been wonderful in making us feel so welcome, so special, so much at home that we feel as if we have been coming here for years — although this is our first visit. We feel like we are all friends and family. We will be returning. 10/10, 5-star for service.

Fantastic fitness classes and other activities with Janath and colleagues. Highly recommend checking the timetable when you arrive. In particular, abs challenge, full body stretch and Pilates on the hill.

One of the most beautiful places i‘ve ever been to and memories i‘ve ever had. Very kind staff-all of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. The room was clean with a very comfortable double bed. We had a private engagement dinner and all the food was well prepared and gently served to us. It was the best fish I’ve ever eaten! I also enjoyed eating fresh coconuts and homemade chocolate cream (I miss it a lot). The biggest attraction was feeding giants tortoises! We had a lot of fun and unforgettable moments there. So I wish I could come back soon!

Very nice experience for me and my wife. The service was brilliant. They were at all time nice, kind and even in stressful situation cool. Which is stuck in my mind of the trip was their warm and friendly welcome at any place. You will not miss a smile on your face and saying "hello" to everybody. The waiters at the bar and in the restaurant will help you in any way. Best is to try to ask the waiters to help you to get the best food. They have a very good taste. Best drink you have to order on this island: Takkamakka Coco — (my optioning best with ice) got a little addicted to it. Spa Kempinsky is an absolute must if you are there. The experience of quality is worth the price you ll pay for. Can just recommend Kempinski resort on Seychelles. Will hopefully visit this place asap again.

One of the best resorts that we have been to. The staff was very hospitable, courteous, friendly and helpful. So many little little things that were done just added to the quality of the stay. The complimentary drinks, cake, fruit served at the beach, the eid hamper sent to our room, the quality of food at the buffet and of course the setting was just amazing. The kids club was perfect for our five and two year old granddaughters. Just wish the water was not so choppy and there was a bigger sandy area for the kids to play on. Which in no way reflects on the hotel’s hospitality. Thank you Kempinski for a wonderful holiday. The Husain family.

We spent our honeymoon here and everything was superb. The staff was really nice and helpful and the service was impeccable. We particularly enjoyed the little treats on the beach, such as fruit, cookies and refreshments. Lots of activities provided by the hotel, so you'll always find something to do if you don't want to leave the resort (although that would be a pity, given the superb beaches on the island, not to mention those on La Digue and Praslin, which are some of the best in the world). The beach is good, but not fantastic (the left extremity of the beach has got finer sand, but the central part in front of the pool is not something to die for — but still good, don't get me wrong — it's just that there are better beaches not far from the hotel). The hotel grounds are vast, the scenery is superb, there's a beautiful lake, tennis courts, spa, and also a helipad if you don't fancy boat or car rides, and you're filthy rich. :) The rooms are large and clean (housekeeping is done twice a day) but perhaps not as extravagant as you might expect in a 5-star hotel, but honestly, that wasn't a problem for us. The food was good (occasionally delicious) and there was a lot of diversity, but, since every evening there's a different theme, you might get a little bit peckish if you don't fancy a certain cuisine.

Midway thru our honeymoon here at Kempinski. Fabulous room, comfiest bed ever, housekeeping staff very attentive, visiting several times a day. Wonderfully friendly staff everywhere, without exception. Lovely touches like complimentary drinking water, towels & an afternoon fruit kebab by the beach. Restaurant buffets have great selection to suit all tastes. Beautiful, peaceful location, perfect for a really relaxing holiday and a priceless view from the beach. Idylic.

I had just had a less then great experience in service recovery recently while having visited the resort for late lunch and hopefully a swim at the beach. Unfortunately, the lack of communication from hotel staff, restaurant staff and the beach staff caused a confusion which could've been avoided prior to having lunch at the restaurant. The food was exceptionally good though but we could've been told earlier that there was a day package on arrival. In the event of not being aware, we ate lunch at the beach restaurant and after wards headed to the beach. We were told then that we could only use the facilities if we were guests or paid the day fee in which nobody had thought to mention when we had already been asked if we were guests or of we'd be having lunch there. As we explained we weren't aware, the beach patrol officer and the supervisor explained that we had to pay the full day fee which was inclusive of lunch. We told them we had already had lunch and it would still be okay if we paid the balance minus the lunch as it would be an added double payment seeing as we'd only be there for an hour max and the lunch was no longer necessary. It was near to impossible making them understand as we had already paid over the amount required for lunch at the restaurant compared to the lunch inclusive in the day package brochure. To no avail we decided to leave.

Visited in December 2017. Mixed feelings about our stay there. Booked a sea view room but unfortunately got a Tree-view room. A huge tree in the lawn was all we could see from our balcony. Blocked the sea-view. We requested for a change of room but were told that the resort was fully booked. In 3 days we never found a person on the car hire desk. Not even once. Breakfast was sumptuous. With great variety. Room was well equipped with more than you can ask for. Location of the resort is far from the city and from the famous beau-vallon beach. Takes at least an hour's drive.

They have made it over a vast expanse in a corner of Mahe. So you get lots of exclusivity. Seychelles is not at all crowded (bare minimum number of people should be expected everywhere though). You just don't feel like exploring outside. The rock formations are amazing!

Nice upscale hotel complex on Southwest of Mahe. Rooms are well equipped and reception staff really welcomed. Long pool that can be used for swimming, nice 24 hours fitness and a beautiful beach. Nevertheless you need to be careful entering these waters to avoid painful encounters laying hidden on the seabed. Read the instructions first and ask the beach towels boys for tips. There is obvious room for improvement in restaurant services and food quality.

This place is paradise, … from the views, to the meals and the staff (there was a sushi buffet! ). I really like the diversity in their staff, like we were met by a Kenyan and I though that was pretty cool,. Makes you feel like you're home away from home. The rooms were gorgeous, plus the beach, such a dream. The beach beds were right next to the blue, crystal clear waters. No sea weed, no beach boys. Bring sunscreen and bug spray as this is the tropics. They have however done a tremendous job keeping mosquitoes at bay which was much appreciated. Another pointer, choose to pay your bills as you go as those numbers can pile up on you! Seychelles imports 90% of everything, so prices are quite steep. We thought having lunch at a restaurant away from the hotel would save us some cash but ended up spending $50 on cab fare + $70 on lunch and a beer, should have ordered the fish and chips at the beachside from the hotel! Which we did later and was delicious, and came in these cool buckets,. Anyway. Take me back!

Clean Beach with white sand. Hotel sunbeds are free for use. The Coral reef is well protected from the waves. You can relax with children.

Beautiful resort on great location. Truly luxurious. Perfectly maintained garden and very professional staff. If it is in your price range definitely a considerable choice.

We did spend 2 weeks in this beautiful Hotel. The Service was exceptionally good. The room was very convenient and spacey. The food was very tasty and the waiters in the restaurant have been very friendly and did care for us guests, perfectly. However, the best is the perfectly attended and large beach with it's shadowy canopy. As a summary: two weeks in paradise!

Nice hotel, excellent facilities. They made considerable efforts to make vegetarian food for us but not too tasty … Common problem for many 5* hotels? Nice secluded beach but too steep … Therefore rather hard to walk on that. Comparison to secluded Goa beaches is inevitable, where one can walk for kilometres at a stretch on the beach. South facing beach which is within 'C' shape land … hence full fury of sea can not be experienced.

It doesn't take five stars. Counted in a restaurant. The beach is not the best in the Seychelles. All in all beautiful. The rooms are cozy, the bed is mega steep. The rest of the furniture is tired. I bet 3 for the inconsistency of price-quality even given the high cost of the islands.

A negative point from me for the dinner buffet: Unfortunately the food for such a hotel standard is not adequate and was a bit sobering.
In the restaurant right on the beach there is much better food during the day.
I know that is now blaspheming at a high level: by and large, the hotel is a dream and I would recommend it to anyone or come back anytime!

For the scenery it is beautiful for what is local we still looking for local points for everything else catering and other very high price.

A nice hotel, good food, kids Club with nice tutor, even if only English and French spoken will fill up here children well, large swimming pool for big and small.

Wonderful place with manicured gardens, get up in the morning and hear only the song of the Sea and birds is a unique experience… The service at the height of the stars of the hotel, staff always smiling and helpful, I spent some days Unforgettable. ☺

Awesome resort although more for adults as their beach is with plenty of corals etc. We got married here, the ceremony and everything was arranged with the local authorities and was pretty uncomplicated… especially compared to other places for couples with mixed nationalities. Stayed in one of the hotels suites with a nice view on their landscaped gardens. The location also is amazing for joggers, plenty of landscape and/or beach to discover. Most however we enjoyed the Seychelles for Photography.

Stayed in the resort for my honeymoon. Very nice location and one of the less crowded resort. I booked the garden view room and the ocean is just about few meters from the room. Couldn't have asked for a better view. Paid about $ USD 500/night. Food is way expensive and the taste is not up to the mark. Besides that, this is for sure one of the nice resort to stay!

Excellent food. At least 5 types of cheese for breakfast and 3 kinds of fish are already worthy. It is possible to eat only seafood. The meat is average. Nice rooms. Controversial exterior, and a considerable pledge at arrival, about 900 dollars from one person (block on the map). Nimble Wi-Fi (up to 3 devices per room). Nice sandy beach, occupies almost the whole bay. However, keep in mind that from morning to 14 hours low tide, becomes very shallow. Swim really after 16 hours, but until this time you can just walk with a mask and admire the beauty of the underwater world. The staff are polite and manners. The hotel is very nice and clean. The towels on the beach are free and of some huge size. The sunbeds are soft on the beach and are hard but comfortable personal right in front of the rooms on the first floor. The water in the room is free. At Christmas brought to the room red, black and some white caviar very tasty, a couple of pieces of rye bread (like our kryuushki) and a small bottle of vodka. Bravo Kempinski. Pleasantly surprised.

The best New Year Eve ever! Great place, impeccable service, and the food at gala dinner was really amazing. To all my friends I will say this was the best New year gala ever. Lobsters and oysters were fantastic. And even surprising torrential rain could not spoil the party because the staff rearranged everything in minutes and everything was great again. Abundance! That's the word that best describes the experience.

Environment Devine, rooms good, service so-so. Food: buffet — so-so, beaksast disappointing (never order the Eggs Benedict in any of its incarnations). A la carte menu excellent.
Conference staff professional & helpful. Front desk and concierge staff seem to be on a trip.
Service staff — rooms, transport excellent.
Restaurant service leaves a lot to be desired.
Staff taking care of beach deserves a reward, they are just fantastic.

Fabulous hotel with exquisite views. The resort has many facilities to satisfy the whole family's needs. Endless pool for splashing any time of day, kiddies centre with great kid activities, a few restaurants and bars for different food and drink experiences, live music most nights. It also manages to provide intimate experience for those wishing for private moments. All in all, I recommend this hotel for a great stay in the Seychelles.

Luxury and High class are the main drivers here. We went just to have dinner at the Hindocine (where we ate really well! ). The garden is huge and beautiful, as well as the little bungalows, even though most of them have no sea view.

Was expecting better! Or maybe the Indochine restaurant but l don't know since they have refused because l was wearing shorts and not a pen! Hello… are we on a island or at New York or Geneva? Wake ups guys…

It is an amazing restaurant set in the luxurious Kempinski resort, and it focuses on oriental food. There is no direct sea view (Even though it's very close to the shore), but it has a nice view on the beautiful garden. The staff is surprisingly kind, professional and welcoming. The food is very, very good (I strongly suggest the scallop starter). The wines are ok. The prices are high, I spent about 130€ for me and my girlfriend taking a starter, a sushi set ("Tokyo") shared between us, and two glasses of wine, but it's a fair price for such an elegant place and such a tasty food.

This is a great hotel for couples and families looking to be treated and spoilt in a lavish manner. The staff are friendly and engaged in conversation with us and our kids especially at the restaurant. I admired a few of the staff who did that. Restaurant meals were based on a theme which means there was variety in the meals. The kids club was a great place to keep the kids engaged and entertained. I would like to point out two ladies who were willing to help us with our requests and additional info — Fiona and Shana; they were very approachable, understanding and our kids really enjoyed being with them. The hotel is a bit of a drive (+-20min) from the airport but it is a good way to get to see the island. The activities provided at the resort is a good way to keep those visitors (who would like to do a bit more than just relaxing) engaged. They are friendly and engage in conversation easily. The rooms are spacious and well designed. We had the family suite which is good when having older kids. The rooms have access to the beach, which is beautiful colours of greenery (grass and trees) and white beach sand. As a typical 5-star hotel, it has all amenities one would require. You would have to stay there for a minimum of a week to make use of and enjoy the amenities offered!

Nice bungalows, 20 steps from the ocean overlooking the ocean. A lot of nice things: in the rooms put all the necessary things, cosmetics, tea set, excellent, natural coffee, HD TV, with many channels. Very polite staff, tasty breakfasts, which have all the goodies for every taste (ham, cheeses, Chinese food, exotic fruits, champagne, etc. ), a pleasant beach, the pool serves towels and water with ice and lemon.

Very cool hotel. But if you come to eat to them from the street then for three ordinary dishes I gave away about 12000 rubles. Not much expensive) ) )

The perfect location for a nice holiday, but if you need to do shopping, water sports, airport, jetty or any other activities it's all in the north of Mahe Island, this hotel is located in the south and is about 17 kms from the activity. Google maps not able to guide to the gates of hotel, in spite of knowing the location, very strange. Be careful with the lights in the passage outside rooms you may bump your head into!

Good resort, room fine, employees at main restaurant needs more training or how to comunicate with guests. Overall it was good experience.

This was my first experience in a hotel resort of this kind. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty! We were upgraded to a beach view on arrival. Room was absolutely beautiful, well presented, clean and had everything you could possibly need. Room was cleaned and tidied every day and during the evening when out for dinner, the bed was 'turned down' and water placed next to it. Fridge was kept filled with water every day. Food was amazing, again served to a very high standard by the most pleasant, and polite staff. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. My special thanks go to Javier Roldan — Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, who took time to come and talk to us most days/evenings. Again, extremely polite and ensuring we had everything we needed and that we were being taken care of. On our last evening after dinner, we went back to our room (509) and there was a knock at the door. It was room service with a bottle of champagne and nibbles, courtesy of Javier accompanied by a hand written note from him. We were thrilled at such a lovely gesture and thank you Javier again for everything. As promised a mention for Vikash (room service) who brought the champagne, opened and poured it before wishing us a good evening and trip home. All in all, one of the best holidays I have had and one that we will definitely be returning to in the future. With thanks to all at the Kempinski — Julie Matkin and Rob Tudor.

We had a pleasure of staying at the Kempinski Seychelles Resort. The resort was beautiful, The buffet was very good and the beach was just a stone throw away. The rooms on the ground floor are better because they have direct beach acsess. The staff at the resort are very nice, special mention the manager Mr Alexei Jarilschin that was very nice and professional and also the ladies in red Svetlana & Sara. We recommend the Kempinski Seychelles Resort very much and wish to come again Shmuel &Ester.

Amazing resort! Loved it. Bit out of the way, but you in effect get our own private beach. Rooms are more like suites. So much space. Huge breakfast spread.

A definite 5* recommendation. Food is just okay but the breakfast buffet is overwhelming. Beach is not as good but nice for a hiking start point. The SPA gets a 5.

On the whole, the hotel is very good. Good food, perfect service, many organised free activities such as pool aerobics. The cons are: 1. The sea near the hotel is full of sea plants which don't give an opportunity to swim comfortly, the only way to explore the underwater life is to swim on high tide. 2. Despite everything they tell on the website, the hotel has NO NORMAL free internet access. For free you can only get a dialup-style speed: 54 Kbit/s. The paid internet nas no big advantage: 512 kbit/s for 100SCR/hour. Be aware.
