I cannot say enough positive things about Chateau St Cloud Hotel. I booked a one night stay there for my partner and my anniversary and mentioned this in the booking email. The room was stunning and they even decorated it and left us a few nice gifts in the room to celebrate the occasion, which was a lovely touch.
The booking correspondence was easy, warm, and addressed all the questions I had. The staff at reception (and in general), were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. We were given a welcome drink and they escorted us to our room.
The facilities were nice, pool was a decent size, and the balcony overlooking the pool was the best part. The room was spacious, bed comfy, and bathroom very suitable for a room of two. The breakfast was also a very nice buffet with egg/omelette station. A key highlight of my partners was the tortoises they have behind the restaurant.
The location was about a 15-20 minute walk from the ferry port, or a 5 minute cycle on a bicycle.
We have already booked a return visit.
We had a fantastic stay! The staff was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and very helpful, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spotless and cleaned regularly. The hotel also offered well-maintained bicycles for rent, which was a great bonus.
Breakfast was delicious, and the dinners were absolutely amazing – each meal felt like it came straight from a five-star restaurant. Sometimes the meals were served buffet-style, and other times from an à la carte menu, both options were excellent.
The hotel was also a perfect base for exploring the island. We stayed for two weeks and had an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Just perfect!
The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. The restaurant and bar were equally clean and hygienic, which made the whole experience even more comfortable.
I was a bit unsure about booking this place at first, especially since it’s not right on the beach, but it turned out to be a fantastic choice. No regrets at all.
The Wi-Fi was decent, though it did drop out occasionally, probably the only minor downside during the stay.
