➜ The rooms were clean but a little old. The matress was really comfortable. The host was very friendly. The breakfast was very good and changed daily. (pancakes, cakes, toast, jam, Omelett, eggs, tea, coffee, Juice, cheese, fruits…) I would recommend staying here.
➜ We were already twice in this sweet house. With the bikes it is fast down on the beach. Delicious Breakfast, the world's best Smoothies. Super friendly host. Very personal. Clean. If LaDigue, then back here.

The best breakfasts I've ever had from a hotel in my whole life! Sylvania and Beryl who both run Bernique Guest House gave me a warm welcome and a lot of gracious hospitality and assistance. The rooms are cleaned every day, are basic and have no Wi-Fi access at the moment. There are no safes provided inside the rooms at Bernique Guest House but there is a safe on the premises and Sylvania kept my valuables in there very safely so Bernique Guest House was very trustworthy. The rooms are all quite similar I think. My room was right behind the reception office. But the best thing about Bernique Guest House is their breakfasts. They serve up such beautiful, fresh and locally sourced food every morning for their guests between 8 AM to 9 AM. The fruit plate changes every morning and the flavours of Sylvania's homemade fruit jams and preserves change every morning. Each morning Sylvania will offer something different such as Belgian waffles, banana bread, crepes, etc. Along with fresh homemade tropical juices. She may offer a choice of a fried egg or an omelette. Even the coffee at Bernique Guest House tastes absolutely beautiful and so smooth. I loved it there and will miss it all ESPECIALLY their fantastically made breakfasts *sigh.
