Our visit was perfect. Nice and quiet place. Exactly what we needed for a long weekend rest.

Came here between Christmas and New Years on a recommendation from an email group. It was absolutely lovely, we had a wonderful time, my friend commented that she'd never had a vacation like that before (more relaxation and restful instead of constantly doing things). A few notes.
-The location/garden on site is absolutely beautiful, super refreshing and relaxing, it's like a piece of paradise. There's also several fruit trees and they encouraged us to help ourselves, and even sent us home with a bagful of lemons and grapefruits each!
-Veronique and everyone who works there are super kind, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We enjoyed chatting and getting to know each other a little bit during our time there. Her husband even decided to drive us back to Dakar!
-The food was amazing! I especially loved our first night's meal — Greek salad, very well-seasoned fish and potatoes, and chocolate mousse for dessert! And the price for the meals is equal to or better than eating out.
-The location is further out from Dakar and rather remote, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for. There aren't really any grocery stores or city amenities nearby (that we found), but as we had meals right there or at other restaurants nearby, it wasn't much of an issue.
-There also isn't much for activities nearby, aside from going to the lagoon/beach (which was beautiful, and littered with cool shells and crabs and stuff! It was super fun exploring that!
