The rooms are nice. I find the location ok. The pool and ocean view are great. The gym is decent by hotel standards. Honestly the only thing that I don't like is the poor service at the bar / restaurant (the Buddha excepted). Orders take forever, are regularly mixed up, and the bill takes forever to show. It's brutal.

Very popular hotel in Senegal, or rather say West-Africa… Nice sculpture, sea side, nice architecture and design. Surely the biggest one in Dakar, offering many services and near the uptown of Dakar.

Amazing pool, service and the room was very nice but Radisson Blu lacks authentic Senegalese flair! African culture needs to be displayed in more innovative ways. Also, the view from the pool is incredible!

Giving it four instead of five stars as I have enjoyed relaxing there but not stayed there. It is a nice play to unwind and see a beautiful ocean view.

Very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Beautiful infinity pool facing the sea. Beautiful terrace and bar at the water's edge.
"Business class" room, sea view: very spacious, modern. The bed was very clean and comfortable. Nespresso machine available. Big Office for work. Many TV channels including some VOD offered.
Very nice stay.

A little disappointed. I asked for squid with grilled vegetables. The squid is fine, the vegetables were not grilled but hairy and full of oil. The hot apple tart was of the day before or worse… the location is good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

It's "the hotel" in Dakar! Having a drink at the poolbar is the first thing to do.
The chef's menu at the Avenue restaurant with these dishes in accord with local products, is a pure treat. Ask for the cassava Moss…

High standard quality amenities and service, excellent food. Access to the pool is 8000 during the week and 10000 FCFA the weekend. They also have spa and fitness facilities. Cocktails at the pool at sunset about 7000. I love it.

Radisson Blu Hotel is one of the best hotels in Dakar. It is a great place to have drink or snacks outdoor in seafront. People are friendly and security is very strong with vehicle scan at the main gate and body scan at the hotel entrance. The outdoor parking is relatively big, which is not the case in many hotels in Dakar, particularly in city centre. However, there are cheaper options in Dakar.

Spectacular both the garden and the pool overlooking the ocean, great view of Dakar.

Well located after the district of the hotel. Swimming pool and access to a small beach. Larger beaches are within reasonable walking distance. Reinforcement of the effective dikes that makes a little think Z an impregnable citadel. Everything suggests that it is a small paradise for holidaymakers. Possibility of immersion with the native population without going very far while retreat to calm for the night. Soothing sea view for fans.

Went on a business trip. Mosquitos in the rooms. But the view is just spectacular! Drinks and dinner too expensive to have all the time (was there was two weeks), but the meals were fresh and tasty.

Good place to relax from Dakar's hustle and bustle. The views are great over the Atlantic and the swimming pool area is lovely. The age of the hotel starts to show up in the rooms but generally is ok. The rooms on ground level offer a nice little terrace. Food in the hotel is average, breakfast being the best meal served. Seemingly they let women seeking a companion in the hotel lobby and bar which is not that great.

Perfect location, fantastic hotel. The rooms are nice and they have a nice restaurant with lovely views of the ocean. There is a mall that is accessible from the hotel, with shops, a food court and a mini market. The staff are helpful and polite.

Undoubtedly one of the best hotels in this African content. Every thing is well planned & designed. The rooms are spacious, elegant, giant tv, almost all international programs of my choice. All the area are well maintained, neat & clean. Bed sheets, towels, toiletries everything is up to date. Great shuttle service, staff is courteous, smiling & supportive. Excellent variety of food & happy that for a vegetarian like me there were enough varieties. The property is superbly built & maintained, certainly coming back in this luxury hotel, Ciao.

If it was possible to put notes below I would not hesitate for a second. When choosing a fish-based dish they found nothing to serve us as rotten fish. What a shame frankly for a hotel of this kind. A hint: If you want to eat well do not put your feet.

Radisson Blu is the best hotel, very well built and meeting international standards. Beautiful view, colored lights make it amazing. The staff are exceptionally professional. Expensive for locals (lol), aimed by tourists and businessman.

One of the better radisson blu hotels I have stayed at. Very busy and an electric vibe. Very good food and service is excellent. Can highly recommend the hotel,. Booking in advance is essential as they quite busy.

Beyond the building, the chic and modern setting, the beautiful view, I did not appreciate the staff that I found cold.
There was something austere in the atmosphere that I did not appreciate.
And the bar service, 3/10.

The bar has an absolute stuning view, the rim pools is amazing, but it is directly under the flight path of planes landing. Will change one day when the new airport is open, then I would give it a 5. Only snacks at the bar outside, don't expext too much.

This place has got the most magnificent view. I would rate it one of the best hotels in West Africa.

Started out by the front desk trying to charge us double of the listed price, that was taken care of, then we were given a room that smelled like mildew and had a cracked patio glass door) that was taken care of by changing us to a different room… which as the night progressed started smelling as well (probably needs some carpet changing/shampooing). The high rated hotel is filthy! While in the shower the water did not drain. We asked for extra towels and were quickly told our quota (2 women in the room and were not to exceed 3towels! ). We then went for food, which after an hour of waiting, the seafood tasted like sewer water, to which the server told us he "ate it all and it was VERY good quality! Maybe the fish was not fresh but the other food was EXCELLENT! " Yeah, that made us feel much better lol. Both of us have extensively traveled and can discern between "good" quality… so that was just insulting. Drinks by the way were $30 for two shots of brandy! Its Senegal! Don't even pay this is the States, in Sedona or other great resorts… anyway, since we were still pretty hungry (but didn't trust any more food) we asked for wine. Well that never came. "Entertainment " (the dj) promptly ended at 8:30 and the clean up crew came quickly as to alert everyone it was time to go (oh, super small patio type thing and no beach access). In the middle of the night we realized that the walls were paper thin and a lady was having a loud conversation outside our door.

They are very slow to reimburse of the pre autorisation of rooms after checkout 1. Flimsy dented dustbins 2. Cigarettes burnt curtains 3. Bad house keeping 4. Faulty plug ins to name a few of the problems not expected of a five star hotel.

I made reservations for 4 night stay 10th August to 14th. Upon arrival, I went through the process and I gave my Barclays Debit card for payment. Unfortunately, the card transaction for some reason did not go through. This is the same debit card I use when I travel and even used it at The Wheatbaker Hotel, Lagos on the 3rd of August. After the second try, I got a text message from my bank that the amount has been earmarked on my account. I called for the manager who came and explained that my bank should reverse transaction within 24 hours. Now my funds are not available and I needed to pay for the hotel. The manager left and the guy at reception asked if I had another form of payment. I said no. I was disappointed that the Manager did not stay around to see what else can be done about the situation. I paid 160, 000 from the cash I had to secure one night. I called my bank and had the transaction reversed so I went downstairs with the Radisson Blu staff to use the ATM. Ecobank declined it and Bank of Africa retained my card. Michel with the business center was the only staff that treated me with respect and attempted to get the bank officials to come and open the ATM so I can get my card back. Unfortunately they were not able to come to the hotel to release my card. I went to the manager and asked him what is next. He bluntly told me, he had to get payment for the room for rest of nights and indirectly telling me I am out of luck then.

I stayed there for a few days and really enjoyed it. The personnel of Radisson Blu, Dakar, worked in a very professional manner. I was surprised by their high standards. I will definitely visit again. Keep up the good work.

I liked it. Clean except fir bathrooms lovely pool. Great food. The waiters seem a bit slow. And talk very loud. Didn't really like that. Overall I would give 3 and a half stars. Architecture boring, and needs to add that boom like Le Lagon 1. That place is great.

I came to the Radisson Blu in Dakar at the recommendation of a friend for a business trip. I was only intending on staying a single night before heading out to help with a vaccination program that focuses on vaccinating Senegalese children in remote areas of Senegal. In preparation for this trip, I had a package sent to the hotel. However, the package was held up in customs at the airport and I needed to stay in Dakar to address this issue. My “one night stay” quickly turned into a “multiple night stay” with no clear answer on how long I would actually be staying. Mona went out of her way to make sure that I was accommodated and allowed me to stay in my room even though the hotel was fully booked and it was uncertain if I was going to be staying an extra night or just have a late checkout. If Radisson was simply looking to maximize profits, then they should have not allowed me to stay with my uncertain situation. However, since the emphasis was towards customer satisfaction, things were quickly adjusted to address my ever-changing and uncertain needs. What was already a difficult situation with the package/schedule delays was made significantly easier by not having to worry about the hotel situation.
