I had an excellent stay at SAMA Hotel in Dakar. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm and pleasant. Everything was well organized, and the service was consistently high quality throughout my stay.
The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around Dakar. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the hospitality. I highly recommend SAMA Hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Super nice, new hotel. We had a standard double room and it was very big. Clean and modern. Super good bed (I like hard mattresses). Very nice and helpful staff. Speaking both French and English. The neighbourhood is residential and nice (many embassies around), with lots of dining options only 10min walk from the hotel. However, if you prefer more busy area, closer to downtown, this will not be so convenient. Traffic is really busy in Dakar and getting for example to the train station will take 30-50min. However, for us it was perfect!

Beautiful hotel. My room was amazing — windows all around, fantastic view, modern, spotless clean fixtures and appliances, comfy sofa and bed. Perhaps bar the female part of it, staff (reception, restaurant) were very pleasant — friendly and helpful.
I was super happy with everything. Only thing, though : breakfast was a bit repetitive and lacked options for special dietary requirements i. E. Food allergies/intolerances e. G. Soy milk etc.

1. Overall stay:
The overall experience did not meet my expectations, as several issues adversely affected my comfort and convenience, particularly the limited size of the room.
2. What I did like:
— The tranquility of the hotel’s environment.
— The courteousness and professionalism exhibited by certain members of the staff.
2. What I didn't like:
— The room dimensions were insufficient given the price paid.
— The room overlooked an unsightly area with visible refuse.
— Housekeeping services were not provided on one occasion, which caused inconvenience.
— The breakfast selection was minimal and often served at an unsatisfactory temperature.
4. To sum up:
Regrettably, my stay was disappointing due to inadequate room conditions and service that fell below expected standards. For instance, a room priced at this level should reasonably include furnishings such as a sofa. Overall, I anticipated a higher quality experience for the amount paid, and significant improvements are warranted.

Decent place to stay in Dakar. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and large bathrooms. Room a bit short on amenities — I only got one towel a day, no other toiletries to include conditioner and no iron. Not the best if you're a business traveller packing lightly.
Pool is fine and stocked with towels. Breakfast buffet is fine with many options.

My stay at Sama Hotel in Senegal was peaceful and enjoyable. The staff were friendly, respectful, and always ready to help. The check-in process was smooth, and I immediately felt welcome. The hotel has a calm and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for both solo travelers and families.

I stayed in a suite, which was absolutely excellent. What impressed me the most, though, was the wonderful attitude of the staff. Everyone — from the reception team to the cleaners and the waiters was truly kind, professional, and welcoming.

I stayed at Sama for two weeks on business and it was truly a great experience. Staff were welcoming (w/ some English which was super helpful), accommodating, and willing to go above and beyond. Facilities were modern and clean.
The food was just okay, but the drinks were good at the rooftop bar. Stayed on a high floor so I could see the ocean from my room.
The hotel is surrounded by construction which can be a bit off putting when walking to close by restaurants. But, I don't take stars away because most of Dakar seems to be under construction.

I stayed four nights at Sama Hotels in Dakar in early February and had an amazing time. The staff (absolute everyone! ) is super polite and extremely helpful. The breakfast was great, and the service superb. The room was clean and beautiful. Although it was winter and the pool was cold (and I insisted on going for a swim) the staff was very helpful in this regard. I can highlight recommend this hotel!

I made a great decision by trying the new Sama Hotels. All the staff members were really welcoming and helpful, especially Ernest and Eli/Wili. It’s well located with many restaurants, coffee shops and even a great souvenir boutique nearby. The food and the drinks at the rooftop restaurant and breakfast were amazing, they clearly use good quality ingredients. I would definitely return to this hotel.

This is a high standard hotel with outstanding customer service.
I stayed with my sister at the hotel and Ernest and Alioune have provided excellent 5 star service and were also very helpful providing information about Dakar. If you are an English speaker its a good place to stay as most staff speaks English.

Sama Hotel in Dakar is a delightful experience for any traveler. The hotel features modern amenities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. One of the standout aspects of staying at Sama Hotel is the amazing rooftop. From there, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city and the ocean, especially during sunset, which creates a magical ambiance.

The cafe and hot chocolate are one of the worst! 3500 CFA each. Hot chocolate 70 — 80 ml size, it has no taste like water diluted instant chocolate powder. Capuchino is 100 size, it also has no taste like water diluted instant powder milk with instant coffee powder.
