This is my worst experience ever of all the 40 countries I have been to. Expect Z-E-R-O accountability from the management of this place when things go wrong. I made a booking for an amazingly great rate for 6 nights. Then 4 weeks later I get an email from them (Sinalei) via the Hotels. Com messaging board saying and I quote exactly: "Hello there, I hereby advise this booking is being Declined as the rates are not wright. " Now, who is responsible for posting the correct rates? Of course Sinalei is responsible for that. When do they respond to me? 4 weeks after making the reservation and paying for it. In the meantime the prices have gone up everywhere else and availability has gone down. Did Sinalei offer an alternative a discount or a reduced rate to compensate for their stuff-up? Definitely not. I contacted them asking to at least keep three of the six nights that I initially booked for. How did Sinalei respond? By completely ignoring my messages. Nothing, zero replies from what they claim is the resort in Samoa. What makes this worse is that this wasn't an emergency where they had to resolve the problem right away and where the manager was not available. No, this took nearly two weeks of contacting them and not getting a single reply, nothing, absolutely nothing whatsoever. Be aware that if anything goes wrong at this place you can expect zero accountability from this resort.
